Unfortunately, over the past few years, we've noticed a significant decline. Cleanliness has become a recurring issue. We've had to call housekeeping back multiple times because the initial cleaning was not done well. This past year, there was hair on the toilet paper holder, visible dust in several areas, and the indoor glass tables looked like they were wiped with harsh cleaners, leaving them streaky and cloudy. In the past, if something wasn't right, we could call and it would be taken care of quickly and professionally. This year felt very different. The hot tub was broken, and instead of a straightforward apology or resolution, the issue seemed to be brushed off. We also had random sheets placed in our elevator that we didn't request, which added to the confusion. What was most disappointing was that when my mom left a review on their site, parts of it were altered and the negative feedback was removed--even though she still gave a generous 4-star rating. As long-time renters, it's frustrating to see the quality and customer service go downhill like this. We've made many great memories over the years, but we hope to see improvements moving forward.

It didn't take us long at all to notice food and crumbs all over the floor and furniture. It only got worse as we unpacked to settle in and get ready for our beach vacation. It looked as if the room hadn't been cleaned for a while. Dirty linens on every bed had to be washed. There were broken fixtures, which included lights that didn't work, shower heads, and towel racks falling off the wall. The bath had to be scrubbed to remove all the filth that was left in it due to lack of cleaning. Doors to rooms wouldn't stay shut, which was interesting with 2 small children with us who wanted to walk into every room at the most inappropriate times. There was mold build‑up on trim and wall decor. Previous renters' mouth retainers were on the floor. A gigantic hairball was on the furniture, and sinks were clogged from hair buildup. There were layers upon layers of dust on fans, and a broken television in the master bedroom. During our stay, the keyless door lock to our room decided to run out of battery power. My Girlfirend and I waited 4 hours in the room waiting for someone to come change it. Don't expect common household kitchenware--the lack of basic necessities you would expect from renting a beach condo was not there. We were there 5 days and called every day about a new issue or just to inform them of the filth. They offered us a "reclean" 3 days in. It wasn't cleaned to begin with, and we had already cleaned just to try to feel comfortable. When we checked out and talked to the manager about our issues, he offered to refund the cleaning fee, saying that he couldn't credit us anymore unless the A/C or hot water was out. But Elliot Reality was perfectly fine with us laying and living in filth after we paid them over $3k for a 5‑day stay. It is a disgusting place, and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing good research and finding a more accommodating rental in this area. Elliot Reality is not your top choice--please trust me.

I called Elliot and they said for us to leave and they would send someone to clean it. We went dancing for hours that afternoon and when we returned, there was a sponge and cleaning cloth in the trash with the trash lid open but nothing had been touched! Crumbs on the floor, sticky drink rings on the kitchen table, every surface was dusty and dirty, ketchup fingerprints on the fridge, none of the toilets had been touched! Thing is, they had come in and cleaned the master toilet, put the white paper thing on it and left. My sister and I cleaned every surface, bathroom and vacuumed floors and were too tired to go out dancing/shagging and stayed in that Friday night!!! I tried to hook up to the internet and guess what....it didn't work. After talking to 5 people who couldn't help me, I went in and reset everything. Voila! On my way out I stopped at their office to tell them how unhappy I was. They didn't charge me for the clean up crew coming in after I left and gave me $100. The next day, Elliot called my friends and told them they were not renting them the beautiful home for 16 people that had been reserved and paid for for a year! After raising hell, Elliot finally put them in a nice place but it was a mile further down the road. SOS is all about staying within walking distance of the clubs so you can walk home. Needless to say, I'm looking another rental company!

The house was filthy after they said it was cleaned. The floors were dusty and sandy, there was mold on cabinets and shower curtains, the refrigerator was leaking, the garbage disposal smelt and was clogged, the pool had rust and alge, dust and hair from previous guests on windowsill. We took an hour to re clean everything. The home really needs an update, and Elliott Rental needs to get a new cleaning crew. After paying over $4000 for the week, this in unacceptable.

We only needed maintenance once at the very beginning as our master shower was clogged upon arrival- they had maintenance fix it ASAP! We didn't waste time waiting around for someone to come as we've had to in the past with other companies. The condo was spacious and clean and furniture was comfy. They provided enough towels and a starter set of paper products and toiletries. Everyone I spoke to via phone or text/email was super friendly. Highly recommend! And the trashcan outside is overflowing with garbage and looks like it hasn't been emptied in quite some time. Also the wifi is horrible, it's slow and goes in and out constantly. The only good thing I can say about this place so far is that the beds are fairly comfortable.

I stayed with a group of friends and each of us experienced credit card fraud because of the third party processing Myrtle Beach Tours chooses to use. There were hundreds of dollars stolen from our accounts and Myrtle Beach Tours representatives were entirely unapologetic. The place itself is in extremely poor condition--watch out for cockroaches, black mold, and loose jagged floor tiles. The air conditioning is kept on freezing and tenants cannot change it. Overall, this is a poorly run operation in a run down location. Bad.
