Unfortunately, over the past few years, we've noticed a significant decline. Cleanliness has become a recurring issue. We've had to call housekeeping back multiple times because the initial cleaning was not done well. This past year, there was hair on the toilet paper holder, visible dust in several areas, and the indoor glass tables looked like they were wiped with harsh cleaners, leaving them streaky and cloudy. In the past, if something wasn't right, we could call and it would be taken care of quickly and professionally. This year felt very different. The hot tub was broken, and instead of a straightforward apology or resolution, the issue seemed to be brushed off. We also had random sheets placed in our elevator that we didn't request, which added to the confusion. What was most disappointing was that when my mom left a review on their site, parts of it were altered and the negative feedback was removed--even though she still gave a generous 4-star rating. As long-time renters, it's frustrating to see the quality and customer service go downhill like this. We've made many great memories over the years, but we hope to see improvements moving forward.

In addition to requiring the the renter to make their own bed buy all their supplies including soap toilet paper etc. they require you to clean the unit before checking out including stripping the bed packing up al their linen emptying all the waste basket cleaning the refrigerator and washing all the dishes etc. or be subject to a $500 fine. I will NEVER rent through Elliott rental again.

What sold me was the oceanfront view right off the pier. When we arrived the pier and closed and broken down. Had been closed FOR YEARS. This was not disclosed to me and the audacity to use this a selling point, is very misleading. Half of the parking lot was under construction as well some of the condos. This also was not disclosed. In addition to that, when we pulled the curtains back there was an inch of dust. This is a very poor way to start vacation. After that my step mom was sitting in one of the chairs in the living room and felt something on her arm, turns out there were a bunch of ants crawling on the table and her arm. At this point it was time to make a phone call. She called the office who asked if we wanted someone to come clean the bathroom... that seems obvious. Yes, we would like someone to come clean the bathroom which they did. There was an ac issue that they also sent someone to look at that. Turns out we the humidity was caused by a vent that needed to be changed but they had to get an approval to do so. As if this wasn't enough today we went out to take a walk and noticed the pool was blocked off. We asked the man what time it would open and he said it was closed for the week to be power washed. This was never disclosed to us upon booking or check in. If this were the case we wouldn't have stayed at this condo. At this point we called Elliott again to confirm since we had never been made aware of the pool maintenance and she said she didn't tell us because it should have been done. This should 100% be disclosed when it is booked because we would have booked elsewhere. There was no offer for compensation or alternatives just half hearted apologies which mean nothing at this point. This is a very poorly ran operation. The rooms are filthy. The property is very poorly kept. And I highly recommend anyone planning a trip to Myrtle beach use a different management company and resort so that you aren't spending your vacation week as disappointed as we are.

All the carpeting was filthy. Mattresses and pillows were stained. I have vacationed to Myrtle Beach for the past 10 years and these were the most undesirable accommodations I have ever experienced. I understand it is the beach and people change units on a weekly basis, but there was no excuse for the condition of this particular unit. The only redeeming qualities were the proximity to the beach and the stunning view from the balcony. The view earned the one star rating, which should really be an 1/8th of a star.

I had to buy a battery across the street for $8.63 I don't feel like the above issues are acceptable. We should not have to clean our room upon arrival after long day in the car with kids wanting to go straight to beach and pools. Our expectations are to be able to walk into our rental and it be clean and we're ready to go and relax and enjoy our family. Made trips to Target to get additional wipes and paper plates and plastic ware is exhausting. Had similar experience 6years ago at avista with Myrtle grand. Do not recommend. They would not refund cleaning fee. Owners of 716 Camelot should know their unit is poorly managed.
