Came here for dinner with family and left with mixed feelings…read more The experience started off a bit rough. We were told to wait in the lobby for a table, but there weren't enough seats available, so several of us ended up standing around awkwardly. Once seated, the restaurant was extremely loud. It made conversation difficult, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it as a date-night spot unless you're comfortable raising your voice just to hear each other. The lighting was also surprisingly dim--I could barely read the menu without using my phone light. Unfortunately, our seating situation didn't help either. We were placed next to a large family party with two children running around and playing on the bench seating. They repeatedly kicked my dad by accident, and after several incidents I finally had to ask them to stop myself. What was frustrating was that the parents never seemed to intervene. As for the food, there were definitely some highlights. The beef tartare was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and the egg on top tied everything together nicely. They served it with four slices of bread, though I personally think chips or crostini would have complemented it better. The duck salad, on the other hand, wasn't for me. It had a strange sweet-and-savory fusion flavor that reminded me of fruit-flavored duck jerky mixed into a salad. For the mains, the Shepherd's Pie was decent. The flavors were good, though nothing particularly memorable, but the presentation was impressive. The standout dish of the night was the teriyaki salmon. It was cooked perfectly, moist, and packed with flavor. We also ordered the scallop and scampi linguine. The sauce was enjoyable, but the pasta itself didn't seem freshly made and lacked the al dente texture I was expecting. Overall, the food ranged from good to very good, especially the salmon and beef tartare, but the noisy atmosphere, poor lighting, and seating experience took away from what could have been a much more enjoyable meal.

Tip: You must visit this food hall. It's awesome!…read more You know what? When there's a listing for a department store food hall, you know that it's good. No, not good. Fantastic! I was at this food hall in December 2013. It's located on the ground floor of this large department store. The displays are extremely fancy and captivating. I recall seeing mini cakes that looked yummy. Even the fruit in the display case, as in apples, pears, and more, looked amazing and in pristine condition. The pastries looked scrumptious. I could smell the croissants! You can get sandwiches, from egg salad to lobster rolls. Feel like steak and chips? Yep, you can get them here, too. I frankly couldn't tell you what you can't get here. I felt like a dream seeing so much good food, but it wasn't. It's definitely worth a visit, whether you end up browsing like me because the prices were steep or you end up splurging. There was a wine section that had shiny bottles of fancy wine varieties. You could get cheese to complement your wine. Everything in this store looked beautiful and elegant. I would do a few things differently when I return to this food hall: - I'd do afternoon tea. I'd actually splurge to experience tea here because I didn't realize that I could until after my Harrods visit. - I'd find a hotel room with a fridge, so I could bring back pastries, macarons, sandwiches, and more. - I'd dine here to experience the entire food hall experience instead of dining at a restaurant within Harrods. The more I reminisce about where I've been in London, I want to return! (55)

I decided to take the most expensive sandwich- lobster roll on brioche bread. Ops sorry I'm lying, wagyu was more expensive but it was looking way dead. So lobster roll was super dry, small piece of lobster on the top wasn't that good, if to be honest he was close to be spoiled. And inside of my sandwich it was an egg salad with small tiny lobster parts. Brioche bread was old. Honestly I'm happy that I received this experience, I will remember that forever : ) will I recommend to go there - YES No seats are available so just figure out where you will eat that overpriced food

Dessert? Let's just say we didn't hold back and it was worth every indulgent spoonful. The Camelot-inspired ambience with that soft candlelight had us feeling properly spoiled and a little bit naughty. Carlos was an absolute gem of a server--warm, fun, and on point--while Mark at the bar kept the cocktails flowing perfectly. Such a charming, tasty night. The 4 big and matching chandeliers in the room give an air of elegance. The food is yeoman good enough. Bambie enjoyed her fish & chips. My pork was delicious and cooked perfectly. Service folks are engaging, happy and keep the experience fun. Food & drink prices are typical Chelsea establishment high. We ate here the week of the Chelsea flower show. The featured four course menu was priced at 90 quid per person. I passed on that offer. Located on a quiet residential street. If you are driving, you may even find a parking spot (no guarantees). Is this place remarkably better than most well run pubs? IMHO, not particularly. But, I'm an old curmudgeon, it's probable that your happiness here will surpass mine.
