Me and my fiancé were in Myrtle beach for the week on vacation from DC area, Learned that South Carolina doesn't allow any tattoos to be done above the collar bone. So we called and drive to here and got a rose tattooed on the both of us right on the side burn, I forgot to grab the name of our artist but she was great! Update - reading the owner's comment shows me the bad customer service I originally referenced. Good businesses reach out to the customer to talk and try to understand what went wrong, they apologize for them feeling the way they did, and try to fix the problem so the review can be edited more positively. Not her, she lectures me (not even knowing the details of my side) and then calls me names?? Very sad indeed! You decide for yourself customers. Original review --- This is one of three tattoo places in/near Ocean Isle that have horrible communication skills. Emails and calls not returned, and requests not discussed at all. Living in NY, vacationing there in August, and attempting to set up an appointment in advance. Sent specifics and asked to chat in a zoom or meets app to discuss images. Also offered to switch to something more basic if that was better. Tori eventually replied saying that me coming in is best, which is not what I want. I want to set up the appointment in advance, so as not to have them booked when I arrive in town. I replied explaining I preferred to choose a place before I arrive and set the appointment up, and no reply. So basically she said No to my request without saying no, and then stopped responding. Business must be booming for such inability to have good communication with potential customers. I hope I'm able to find a good place once I'm there. NC must have different definitions of good customer service than NY does. read more
