Decided last minute to get a small tattoo while in town visiting my nanny - so happy I came here. The place itself was extremely clean. They have a pool table you can play while waiting... plenty of seats. The staff was also super friendly. Overall happy with my experience & would come back again / recommend to anyone in the area. Troy was my artist! I got this tattoo for my nanny. She lives in Myrtle - and I added her initials. Troy showed me other options that I may like but overall it was my decision what to pick at the end. Super happy with the turnout! read more

We came in around 12 ish on a Saturday for a walk in . It was fairly busy , I mean not only is it the beach but it's a walk in. There were two artist there and a gentlemen working the counter . They all were kind and respectful. We had originally came in to get two tattoos we had hand drawn . The artist talked to us about making it larger due to the running and the bleeding later in life . He was very thorough and personable. Told us the pricing estimate and wait time. It was about an hour to two . There wasn't a ton of seating inside or the shop , two couches but I guess a group had come with about four people and not all of them were even getting tattoos and they took up most of the space . They were very loud too, but that wasn't the tattoo artists fault . We had to leave simply because we were traveling back today and if we didn't we would have been getting back super late . However if I were to come back to Myrtle Beach and wanted a tattoo I would go there just simply from the honesty and friendly customer service . read more

I went in here on my last day of my senior trip. Me and my buddies are from Philadelphia and we came here because they did walk ins. It was my first time getting a tattoo and my friends too. Jeff was at the desk and very cool guy. William was our artist and he was so down to earth and makes you very comfortable. He had very good tips for me as a first timer. I have been to Pitbull Tattoo Clinic for all of my tattoos and piercings. The store is clean and I watched my tattoo artist, Randy open everything. All the artists are extremely talented and can do anything you want. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have 6 tattoos and plan on going back to see Randy soon for more. I highly recommend Pitbull Tattoo Clinic. I've had 2 more tattoos and several piercings at Pitbull and are happy with them. I've never been treated rudely by anyone there. I got to know pretty much everyone that works there and they are great. I am complimented all the time on my tattoos and asked where I got them done at. Very good tattoo place. This tattoo costs me 100 dollars and the guy who did it was very nice and made sure I was comfortable. On this street there are many tattoo parlors and this is the largest one. We originally didn't go to this parlor and went to ink wave and they declined us and were very rude. read more

Received an appallingly rude message from what I'm guessing is an employee for being truthful about my experience. Not only was this behavior absolutely unprofessional, but it came years after I wrote the review. I wasn't going to share it, but I've been thinking about it recently and it just makes my blood boil (screenshot included). This is NOT how you treat clients, past or present, good or bad. The new owner had reached out to me as well a few years after my review and was very polite and offered to have me come in to touch up whatever I needed which was awesome of him (though I don't live in the area). Never got a response back, but I appreciated him reaching out in the first place. However, apparently, some of his staff needs some training on client relations. read more

I was not impressed with this shop at all. We were greeted warmly at the door, but the tattoo artist was absolutely rude and condescending. The artist argued every bit of the ink that my boyfriend and I wanted to get, yet proceeded to assure us we "can get whatever you want." My boyfriend wanted a specific version of scripture, the artist proceeded to tell him that was wrong and wanted to overcharge him. I had two ideas for my tattoos and the artist wanted to change it because he's been "doing suicide awareness tattoos for 30 years." We did not get our tattoos from him, and I'm glad we didn't. I refuse to have an artist tell me I can get what I want, then rip to shreds the ideas that I had. It's my body, and he wasn't willing to give me what I want, despite his words. I wanted a mandala with an OM in the middle, my tattoo lines were poorly done - the shading was awful - best of all, the artist hand drew the OM - he made a number three thinking that was an OM (IT ISN'T). Got my first tattoo yesterday at pit bull, my tattoo artist was Bay Bay. She did a great job on my tattoo, I'm very happy with it. It took her 2hrs to do my tattoo which seemed like it was here and down in no time. She also did my husbands tattoo on his arm and it turned out amazing, she put a stencil on mine but she did his free handed. This place is kid friendly as long as you don't have them running around without supervision. Makes it easy for people who are out of state and don't have a babysitter. Everyone is very friendly in the shop and jokes around to make you feel better if your nervous. read more

I came here while I was in vacation during my spring break. I was shop hopping in that area since it was a strip full of different tattoo & piercing shops because I knew I wanted to get my septum pierced for a while. So me and my best friend were looking around in the other shops & those places would charge $39 for the piercing & $15-$25 for the starting amount for their jewelry. I don't know about y'all but that is highway robbery to me. So, I get to this shop & the first thing I always look into is smell. It smelt really clean & had a cleaning agent smell to it which made me feel better because I hate dirt & if you're going to do something to me, I need it cleaner than a whistle. Then, I talked to the lady in the front who was very sweet & cordial to us & asked about pricing. She showed me to the pricing list & it said $50 and she added that includes jewelry. Now, I was very excited because that seems a reasonable price to me to pierce a septum. So the piercer takes me in & shows me the jewelry & by this time I'm ready to go because she said it was actually $45 and I just wanted to get it done because I had a great vision. The piercer was nice, she held conversation with me during the process. She explained in full detail multiple times of the cleaning & healing process because I am a person who forgets easily so I thought it was great for her to explain multiple times. Don't ever get pierced here!!! I got my belly button done there while on vacation and they pierced it off center and crooked. When i went to another piercing shop in another town they took one look at it and said "why did she pierce your belly button crooked?" When I called to complain and get a refund they said there was nothing they could do because I was out of town even though I picture to prove it was crooked and done wrong. They also told me they would follow up and never did as well as telling me the owner would cal me back which he never did. They were unapologetic and took no pride in the work they did. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Poor customer service as well as a bad piercing!! read more
