Chris came, picked me up and we got there in plenty of time. He walked with me into the hospital and to the check in desk. I had to stay and extra night. Chris was there right on time the very next day waiting for me. He helped me into his vehicle and even escorted me right into my home. He told him to let him know if I needed anything "at all" while I recovered at home. I had been very concerned about how I was to get to and from the hospital. Chris took all of my anxiety away. The driver calls after the scheduled pick up time to say that he's not going to honor the appointment and he's thirty minutes away... Driver recommended that we use another service when my friend said the company should honor the appointment. We arrived late to our friends wedding as a result and if we had not had our own car available we would have missed the ceremony completely. This service is a complete joke and is not to be trusted. There was animal hair on the rear seats, loose tobacco on the seats, and the entire ceiling was dry rotted foam that was literally falling into our hair. The man and the dispatcher were talking, while we were driving, that they had to lose fares as we were not ready to leave 15 minutes before the requested pick up time. When you call their number - any of their 3 numbers now - you constantly get a busy signal. It is only after calling 5-6 times that a dispatcher may answer. This last Saturday, we called for a pickup from downtown Rehoboth at 950pm. We were told someone would be there in "10-15 minutes". After 35 minutes, and again multiple tries to get through, the dispatcher apologized and said "he should have been there by now - I will get ahold of him and call you back immediately". another 20 minutes with no callback, we started walking, and found a taxi from another company just driving around town looking for business. I called back (again multiple tries to get through), talked to the dispatcher and told her to cancel the pickup order, and then asked why she never called me back. "It's been crazy here!" was her explanation. When pushed, she still never apologized, but finally had to agree she had no excuse for at least calling as she had promised. Several calls to talk to the "manager" (William) have been un-returned. I would avoid Comfort Ride like the plague. They have been removed from my phone book, and all of my friends.
