The waterfall was not working and he said maybe he'd get it working by the time we left. Not a big deal, but never did turn on. It was odd that his family lived there or was visiting for Easter so we did feel a little like intruders over the weekend. Room: was freezing cold, and first night the heat was not working well. We did have a fireplace in the room but the unit to use for heat was not working no matter what we tried even with staff assistance. The bathroom was freezing and we had to use a space heater to try to warm it. We did complain the second night and nothing was fixed as owner was having Easter dinner upstairs with his family. Hot Tub: clean, small and perfect for 2 people. Made the trip. Didn't use the small table fire pit. They don't tell you that they drop off deserts at night and the next morning we woke up with melted ice cream outside the room. Communication breakdown. Coffee was folders, nothing great but did have a selection of offerings for breakfast time. Staff workers were amazing - kind and super friendly given that it was Easter weekend. You can tell they do try to give you the best experience. The staff hired here were amazing and friendly. Games are available for the rainy days. TV has most steaming services, rooms a tad older look. Somethings not functioning - like the sound machine, TV being finicky, and heat in room. We probably will not choose this room. Would rather stay at the rooms that are on the river and try that route next time!
