My friend and I just left our appointments, and we're now sitting on a couch contemplating the ceiling. Our brains are delightfully empty and our auras are humming pleasantly. I feel like how my cat looks when she's laying in the sun and purring. If you're looking for a no-frills place to park your body and then mentally check out for awhile, this is the place. The prices are good, the rooms have great vibes, the music is boppin' (in a relaxing way), and the massage is bussin'. My friend and I have never been to a spa before (we're broke college students) so we weren't quite sure what to expect. Their website is pretty generic and their online booking system (which, spoiler alert, isn't actually used) has you pick a day, but no time or type of appointment. From the outside, it doesn't look like much but again, it's a no-frills kind of place. There was an older Chinese man at the front desk who looked confused when we said we'd booked appointments online (it doesn't look like they use their website or at least, the online booking system), but he still let us get an appointment right then. It was 2 PM on a Tuesday, so I guess they weren't too busy. Heads up - the "menu" of services they offer was completely different there than what their website listed (honestly, I'm not sure why they have a website). My friend and I were pretty happy though, because the prices listed in-person are even more college-student friendly than we originally expected. They have a few different types of basic massages (body, foot, etc) and time lengths. We opted for the hour-long full body massage for $60, although the 90 minute body + foot massage (60 min full body, 30 min foot) for $75 was very tempting. The rooms were clean and kept dark during the massage, and they had Chinese-style ambient music playing, which greatly facilitated my mental zonk-out. They don't give much instruction/direction, partially because of the language barrier, which can be a little off-putting if you're not expecting that or not very comfortable with strangers touching & moving your body around. The "full body" massage starts with you on your front, and they go over your back, neck, arms, & legs. They do pull down your underwear a bit to go on the top half of the butt, but I had a female masseuse and she tucked the sheet covering me into my underwear so I was still covered. At one point, she left the room without saying anything and I was confused (was that the end? am I supposed to go??), but she came back with a hot towel (which felt DIVINE) & rubbed all the massage goop off. She then had me flip onto my back and worked on the front of my shoulders, arms, and legs. She did this thing where she pulled my arms & legs a bit to stretch it (not unlike how I sometimes help my cat stretch), and then jiggled them while holding them up. I was mostly boneless at this point so the change of movement was unexpected but ultimately very welcomed. The employees, both at the front and the masseuses, don't chat or talk more than necessary, which I personally liked but others may not. Part of this was probably the language barrier - their English is enough to get by, but they seemed much more comfortable speaking Chinese, which I understand but can't speak. They were very nice - they offered me a chilled bottle of water afterwards! Some of the other reviews said that the employees were rude and "berating" when there was an issue. As a first-generation Chinese American, I'd bet that they probably just don't know a lot of English and thus are more blunt. Asian customer service is also generally more direct and doesn't bother with somewhat pointless platitudes that are only said/done to maintain a facade. It's not bad customer service, more just a different style with some quirks that come along with not being very fluent in English. All in all, my friend and I had a great time and were super zen-ed out afterwards. We probably sounded a bit drunk or stoned, because we were so relaxed. 4.5/5 - 5 for the experience, 4 for the wonky website. I was really looking forward to our spa day, but unfortunately the experience didn't match what was advertised online. When we arrived, the location was very different from what the website led us to expect. It's located in a strip mall, and there was even a boarded-up broken window nearby, which didn't create the relaxing, upscale first impression we were anticipating. We had specifically reserved the East Meets West massage and facials based on the services listed on the website. However, once we arrived, the menu of services available at the spa was completely different from what was advertised online. It was disappointing because we chose this spa specifically for those treatments. I understand that businesses update their offerings, but the website should accurately reflect the current location, atmosphere, and available services. Keeping online information up to date would help set the right expectations and avoid disappointing customers. I hope they update their website so future guests know exactly what to expect before booking. read more

I called to book appointments for me and three friends. They asked me to text them the details; so, I texted that I wanted 4 of the Ultimate Radiance packages (includes 90-minute massage, facial, and body polish per their website. I ended up also calling and asking how it worked with the facial since the price said $99/90 minutes. I was informed they do the facial during your massage. We arrived; there was no paperwork to fill out and after the massage I looked at the clock, and it was 60 minutes. I went to the front desk and asked about the package and the woman in charge looked confused and pointed to the board and said they do a 90-minute massage. I showed her their website that lists the package, but it was never resolved. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 only because the massage was good (ask for light if you're sensitive skinned) and it was a full 60-mintues. read more

Everytime I've come they've been very kind, professional, and accommodating. Last time I went Arthur did an amazing job, the massages aren't labeled as lymphatic but they truly feel like it since I always leave feeling lighter and much more relaxed. Sufei Spa was recommended by a friend, so I decided to make an appointment. I did not catch the woman's name who gave me the massage, but she was good. She didn't talk much, but that was ok with me. They got me in right on time and she worked on me the whole hour. I asked for medium pressure, and it was a little more than I'm used to, but it was fine. I had some really tight muscles that needed worked on! The price was very fair, in my opinion, and I would go back. I would also recommend Sufei Spa. read more

This place is amazing. I get massages all the time, but this place tops all others. Their attention to detail is unmatched! You can tell they know what they're doing and are very professional. I love that they give an entire bottle of water when they finish, not just a tiny cup of water. They never hurt my spine, they don't even touch that part, which is great! They just focus on the muscles and loosening your knots, which is the most important thing! Obsessed with this place. read more

We purchased 2 Groupons for a 60 minute combo massage. We made an appointment. Upon arrival she threw a fit we bought the vouchers. At least 20 times she berated us and said "you don't buy groupon!!!" She also informed us they "make 1% on them" and that we are to "never buy Groupon again." This made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. If they don't want people to buy the Groupons, they should take down the offer. They clearly want the free advertising, but get mad when full-price isn't paid directly to them. Additionally, the lady asked to see the Groupon and immediately clicked redeemed...despite us not being willing to stay after she lectured us about buying the Groupon. This is my favorite spa/massage place! The massage therapists are AMAZING and extremely friendly. The prices are reasonable and I highly recommend to call ahead with an appointment to make sure they have openings. I've been here with my sister and my fiancé and every time we leave, they always say how great they feel. You will definitely walk out feeling refreshed and like a brand new person. read more

I recently visited this spa because my normal place was too busy. I would never go to this spa again. First of all the rooms were disgusting. I saw dead bugs in the corners and just overall gross. Secondly the girl up front could not understand what I wanted- I asked them to focus on my lower back as this is where I hold my stress and the girl would only do my upper shoulders and neck- when I tried to communicate with the woman massaging me, she didn't change anything or couldn't understand I'm not sure. She repeatedly rubbed in the same spots and I had to get up and leave before my massage was even finished. I've never had to do that in my life and I frequently (weekly) get massages. I would never go back to this place again- it was nasty and I had the worst massage of my life. Do not go here! read more

I've hesitated writing this review because it was one of the most uncomfortable experiences of my life. My husband got me a Groupon for my birthday for a combo massage here. A woman escorted me to the room where I undressed and laid on the table. There was no consultation but I don't think they spoke English well so that must have been why. Massage was going well at first until I heard a man's voice speaking to me. I did not have a problem with a man doing my massage but I was just surprised. The part where it really took a bad turn was when the man started on my back and pulled the sheet halfway down my BUTT and started massaging me. I have had a lot of massages and never had someone pulled the sheet past my underwear let alone massage my butt without asking. It was super weird and I couldn't relax and didn't know what to do. I would absolutely never come back and would not recommend this to anyone. read more

got a massage here a few weeks ago. It was a very interesting experience to say the least. I tried to say where my problem areas were but they ultimately decided where they were. I guess one area was my stomach because they focused there. That was very strange however I left with more back pain than before. I waited to write this review in hopes that the pain would subside and end up I would feel better than when I went in. Since this has happened I have had to find a different massage place to go to so that the new issues could be corrected. If you choose to go here I suggest you be ultra cautious. read more

Had a great experience. We Called at 5, they were available at 6:30 for a couples massage. There's always a language barrier at places like this as others said but so what? I didn't catch names but the lady up front was very nice, offered us water when we left and asked if we feel better. The massage was amazing, they knew what they were doing. I think we just got a basic massage, not sure what type we really picked out. Was a combo I suppose. She was very good at finding which muscles were tense and working on those, compared to what I had experienced at sunrise spa on Manchester Rd. This was only my second professional massage so I'm not an expert. Don't let the entryway fool you, once you're in the massage room it's a classy place. read more

Got the combination package. The first 10 minutes are a foot soak, then about 15 minute foot rub on each foot and a 15 minute total body massage to cap it off. Really enjoyed it - the guy who massages me seemed to actually be paying attention to my body and needs rather than going through the motions. Plus it's dirt cheap - 32$ for an hour. The foot part was fine but afterwards the guy gave me a back "massage" that primarily consisted of a series of crushing moves. He managed to seriously injure my right ankle which had previously been fine. I am in so much pain I can't sleep and will need to miss work to see my Dr in the morning. I went to Sufei for a foot massage, after 30 min I was told to turn over (normally I would think this was weird but my Mom had just gone there and she said they do your back after your feet). The masseur then started on my back, everything was fine until he started putting all of his weight on my spine as if he was trying to pop my back... not only that, he did it in a hurry starting by my neck down my entire back, popping happening the whole way. I said, "not so rough, softer" he just giggled and kept going. He went back up to my neck and was so rough I had to say "softer, softer" again- to which he just says "oh, ya, ok" and kept going SO HARD. I wish I would have gotten up when he started popping my back. I started having back pains last night (FOOT massage was at 10am) and I am still in pain this morning. If you are not a chiropractor you shouldn't be popping people's backs... you shouldn't even be working on people's backs for a FOOT MASSAGE. read more
