I had called on my way south and didn't reach anyone (as they were busy massaging) and Christina texted me later that day and accommodated my schedule for a massage the following day. So glad we found this place. I've had massages from Christina and Jamie and they were both exceptional. Quite honestly, the massage from Christina was probably the best massage I've ever received. I prefer deep tissue massage that usually involves elbows and body weight. Christina has the skill and strength to get in deep when it's needed and the experience and awareness to lighten up when that's needed. I was looking for a relaxing massage when I scheduled with Jamie - she delivered perfectly. I came in tight and tense and left and loose, mellow and centered. Pro tip: Give yourself a little extra time and stop in at the store/bakery below after your massage and grab some coffee and a bite: so delicious! Ryan cued in on the issues in my alignment immediately, and knew how to address pseudo-sciatica with techniques I hadn't experienced before. I appreciated that before we entered the room, she asked me what I needed/wanted in order for me to experience a fully satisfying a d rewarding session. She listened, and when I was on the table and calmed by lovely, peaceful music, she used the essential oils I selected and began the massage. Cristina's voice was low and soothing as she suggested I should focus on the specific areas of contact with my body during the massage. She got right into the spots that were bothering me, intuitively knew how much pressure to apply without it being too much, and just helped me have a relaxing, calming experience.
