I took my friend and I here, and we did not have a good experience. Over the phone I said that there would be two of us, expecting two techs, I made the appointment for 4:30 and had something else to do at 6:30. We sit down and everything is going great until it's two hours later, I'm late for my next appointment, and have really sloppy and ugly nails. I had to pay an extra $30 more at my usual place to have them fixed. Luckily ocean nails in the mall in Boardman, Ohio was able to get me in before my vacation. The Columbiana Ocean nails and Boardman Ocean nails are ran by different owners and do not know each other. After talking to an employee at the location in Boardman, they said that an employee from the Columbiana location once said that the Boardman location would redo their nails for free because they were friends (the costumer did not like their nails from the Columbiana location). The Boardman location told the costumer that they did not know anyone from the Columbiana location and that it was a lie. I will never be back, and I will always recommend the Boardman location, they're the best and take 30 minutes for a full set. Love read more

I never leave Yelp! reviews, let alone negative ones but I felt the need to share my experience. The staff is very nice and it was easy to make an appointment, but it felt very rushed (didn't really clean my nails or push my cuticles back to trim them fully ) and the appointment was only about 30 minutes which sounds great in theory if all steps are taken. Since I got a light color, I got 3 coats of gel polish, but none of the coats were taken to the edges of my nails, especially the third coat. My nails also look lumpy in spots. Finally, after only 4 hours after my appointment, I noticed a large chunk chipped off of my middle finger nail. read more

I am new to town and have learned from experiences in my hometown to not have expectations when it comes to nail appointments. I came to this salon for my first time and Debbie did an amazing job bringing my idea to life. I am beyond impressed and have found MY salon. I'll be honest, I read reviews after booking my appointment and was super nervous. One comment mentioned how the technician was checking the phone a lot. While I was in the salon, I noticed this as well. However it wasn't in an offensive manner or rude manner. In fact, the technician received a call in the middle of doing one of my nails and asked the caller to hold while she finished. They seem to be understaffed due to COVID 19 precautions (which I don't believe to be their fault) and I feel they are trying their best to accommodate each guest while following the current guidelines in place. Overall this nail salon was beautiful, clean and Tammy did a great job on my gel full set. Everything is brand new and digital! Tammy Was also very quick! She recommended the gel instead of regular color so I went with it but the price I thought was a bit high. She gave me basically an acrylic fill with gel color but she replaced 3 nails which had fallen off for $55 + tip = $60 She was fairly gentle and paid attention to detail making sure I got a legit coffin tip. I would def come back but check on the price before hand. read more

This is the second time I've been to this nail salon. On the first visit I was over charged and when i asked what the charges for she told me different prices than what is advertised. Despite my bad experience I tried again a couple months later. I went in for a fill. The lady took an hour and 45 minutes on a fill. She cut me six or seven times and didn't even apologize. She answered her own personal cell phone 3 times while she was doing my nails and took repeated breaks to text. My polish chipped within the same day. I heard another costumer tell the owner she'd been over charged previously and the owner told her they automatically added a $15 tip to her full set. read more

Was very disappointed, my nails are crooked and the polish was lumpy the man messed them up and did not fix it his wife tried. They said $25 charged $34 said it was tax. She did not ask length when she was filling my nails and made them very short. read more

The guy there was very nice and welcoming and offered me a water but the lady who did my nails was horrible first she came in and just sat there on FaceTime with someone and then the guy told her to take me because I had an appointment so she did while she was doing my nails she was on FaceTime the whole time and she was also speaking in a different language even though she could speak English (which I thought was kinda rude because she could have been talking about me) then while she was filing my nails down she was very rough and cut me multiple times (also mind you that she reuses her nail files so there could easily be bacteria) she did not push my cuticles back or cut them then when she was glueing the nails down she got glue everywhere and did not take it off of me the acrylic coating was very lumpy and not even then she told my mom that I needed to get the gel polish because normal polish did not stay on the nails (mind you my mom went to beauty school and had her beauticians license when she was younger so she knew that was not true) and then my nails weren't even on for 3 days before both of my pointer finger nails fell off I would not recommend this place to anybody there are other salons that cost the same price with better service it was not worth my money the lady should not be working there and should not have been on FaceTime the whole time (my nails probably would have looked a whole lot better if she actually paid attention to what she was doing) i am not happy about her service read more
