We booked in here for a small party for my sister's wedding nails. The spa is very Instagram worthy, with a pretty lobby and cute manicure stations. The services were OK at best. I requested my standard gel mani/regular pedi combo, and enjoyed the massaging chair and my manicure was well done, minus a few wonky shapes on my nails. My sister hated her service (so glad I paid over $100 for that....), which was partly her fault and partly the salon's. I will say that the bride was a bit distracted, so didn't actually pick or check her colors before application (that's her fault), but for her cream and gold color theme, which she did tell the tech and asked for recommendations, they painted her toes metallic silver and her nails stark white with silver chunk glitter. So she was unhappy about that, but could have checked the colors and asked for an adjustment. She got tips, and didn't think they were well applied or neat. It's hard to rate based on a service that we didn't communicate well on, but I wanted to share anyway. We were there for a group relaxation outing, and they didn't really handle the group well. At one point they had my sister sitting in a pedicure chair by herself, while the others were either wandering around or getting a service in a different room. Again, not awful, but I think we would have appreciated being co-located for the majority of the event. When we went to pay, it was hard to get itemized receipts and the woman cashing us out seemed confused and a little disinterested in the whole process. Disappointed. Probably the worst pedicure service received. The technicians we had seemed afraid to do the pedicure. Hardly spoke to us and if it wasn't for my tech my SIL still wouldn't have known what to do as her tech didn't ask her even what color she'd like. My cuticles weren't pushed back or cut, 3-4 passes were made to shave dry skin from the bottoms of my feet (sides were never touched or balls of my feet), nails were filed only (she did ask but I told her to do what was best), my SIL did get hers cut but they were cut way too short and that resulted in sore toes and the next morning having redness (puss even came out of her big toe where the cut was), the tech dropped the paint brush and proceeded to paint my toes without sanitizing. When asked about our service, I replied it was OK. I then got questioned on the things I mentioned above.. I believe this was the owner, went and consulted with the techs as we stood at the counter waiting to pay and she questioned them through the frosted door... we were happy to pay the remaining balance but did want to be honest. The owner said we as the customer, can tell the techs ourselves what they didn't do. I refused to do that.. as a business owner you take honest feedback and make it right and not question and tell the customer they should tell their staff. It was the most embarrassing, patronizing experience I've ever had. The rest of our party came to the lobby and I didn't want the day ruined with the conflict.. I mentioned I'll pay my remaining balance I just didn't want to ruin the day for anyone else... she STILL proceeded to bring it up against my request. It was by far the most unprofessional experience that could've occurred. I paid the remaining balance of my service and will never go back or recommend. read more

I was visiting family for a couple of weeks. My niece recommended this place so I booked a manicure & a pedicure. A very nice place and the people were really nice. My issue is the young lady that saw me didn't clip my nails, at all. Not on my feet or my hands. Didn't even ask. Just filed them. I did get the minimum service and thought that's what I paid for. When I mentioned this to my niece, she said they definitely should have trimmed my nails. She takes her husband there and they always cut his nails. I should have said something, my fault. The most amazing and beautiful Spa I have ever stepped foot in! And I'm from New York City. I left feeling like I was floating on air. The decor, the staff and the service was exceptional! After posting a poor review, the spa left me a voicemail that teeters on harassment. She disputed my opinions and stated that complaints should go to her, not Yelp. (Social media is a double-edged sword!!) She also insisted my husband enjoyed the "massage". He was equally, if not more, disappointed than I was; he needed to shower immediately afterward to eliminate the smell and stickiness of the lotion. In retrospect, it is pertinent to mention that the staff was pleasant while we were there. This speaks volumes, as they seemingly work for a neurotic narcissist. So great to find a luxury day Spa near home! From the moment I walked in I felt special and like their day was all about just me! I was kindly guided throughout the Spa cycle at my visit for my 1 Hr massage. Mattie was very professional and expertly trained esthetician performing my relaxation massage. Went for a massage several months ago (can't remember when but decided to leave a review after scrolling through yelp looking for a nail salon). If you want an actual massage go elsewhere. They are not professional massage therapists there and it's basically zero pressure with oil being slathered on your back. I asked for a firmer pressure twice and didn't want to ask again. I took myself, my sister in law & my mother for pedicures. My mother also had a manicure. I paid $200 with tips, tax, etc. My toes had 3 coats of polish, then glitter & top coat.... that I had a feeling would Never dry! Even after sitting under the nail-dryer for 30+ minutes, 5 hours later, my toes smudged! And one of my mothers nails smudged later that evening as well. The occasion was for a wedding. I got both a baisque pedicure and gel manicure 2 says ago. The spa is lovely and the staff are all attentive, kind, and accomodating. The issue i have is with the service itself. I have had my fair share of pedicures and manicures and have never had an issue with longevity. I was told that my gel manicure would last 2 to 3 weeks. Sadly, it chipped the next day. I hadn't even washed my hair or done anything that could have contributed to the chipping and it was actually pretty messy overall on my hands and feet. I actually never write reviews and I feel terrible even writing this one because I truly do think the spa has the best of intentions but I feel as if when you pay that much money you should be able to get at least a week or 2 out of a gel manicure. DO NOT APPLY FOR A JOB HERE!! OWNER IS SOUR AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I applied for a front desk position with this business and unfortunately the pay cut was just not in the cards. Previously the owner and myself had over gone a short over the phone conversation where at first I was genuinely interested in the position. At the time I didn't think about it BUT she was so negative and had absolutely zero professionalism and what I would say a welcoming tone for which a potential new employee would like to experience. Each time I would express my interest it was things along the lines of well it is a far drive so is it for you, we'll with gas prices it's probably not a good position for you. DO NOT EXTEND ME AN INVITE FOR AN INTERVIEW. I am currently an office manager and along with that a hiring and firing manager and never would I walk into a conversation the way she did. THE GOOD PART... So I called that morning of the day my interview was supposed to be. My call went straight to voicemail. It is not my job I am not her employee to worry about whether she saw her missed calls or went over them. Whether the miscommunication was on my end or hers the message I received on my Indeed account was so distasteful and unprofessional. I was put on a "NO CONTACT LIST" for her business. The owner rents out the entire upstairs of her spa. There is seating for at least 20 people in the main room. However, there are warnings posted all over the entire unit. It is the most unfriendly place I have ever stayed. They posted that only up to 8 people can stay there and no one is allowed to visit you. You are only allowed to be there if you are registered to stay. Pets are allowed but children are not welcome. Guests are asked to be quiet due to the spa being downstairs. I was told that BNB's are for sleeping only, not visiting. Do not rent this unit. I followed every rule and left it extremely clean, but had a horrible stay. Warning...DO NOT BOOK! read more

Great small business, very clean and great style. I got a color and cut plus a brow wax and a pedicure, it was great!! Two areas of potentially making Spa Le Jeane even better: My brow wax was a bit rushed and didn't get all the brows cleaned up-- maybe brighter lights or stronger wax? I had a great massage last saturday. My technician made sure I was comfortable the entire service. The foot soak and mimosas were so luxurious and the massage oil smells amazing. Zero stars if I could!!!! I scheduled my friend a facial here and she tested positive for Covid the morning of her appointment. She called to let them know out of courtesy and caring for others' well being, in the hopes of rescheduling for the following week. Not only was the staff absurdly rude to her about this, but they refuse to honor the GIFT CERTIFICATE I purchased for her to be used the following week. In the climate we're living in, no place should operate this disgustingly. Especially when it comes to a public health issue. People beware! I would give this place a zero if I could! My husband tested positive for covid a day before my appointment. I called the spa explaining the situation and asked if I could have a refund for the appointment. They said if I didn't have any symptoms I can still come to the appointment. I did not feel comfortable after being around my husband beacuse I do not want to spread covid to other costumers in the spa. It's very concerning a spa which has high levels of person to person contact would show such a disregard for the health of their costumers and the community. This place was just like the movies: fancy robes, things that sparkle, glass of champagne....ahhhhh, I am probably overdue for another package spa day! Very disappointed. Paid $256.00 for three basic mani-pedis. No oils, no lotion no exfoliation, no filing nothing !! just plain water then polish. I had it done on a Thursday it is Monday, nail polish is chipped my toe nail polish is chipping.had to exfoliate my feet when I got home. The girl asked me if I wanted my toenails clipped and shaped, that is supposed to be part of a pedicure. We were aske if we wanted water ( no coffee, no tea) she brought water in small Dixie cups, for $256.00 the owner could do much much better, everything with this owner is an UPSELL, if you want your mani/ pedi at le jeane done properly you have to pay EXTRA, other nail salons include this in their price which by the way are half the cost of what le jeane charges. I couldn't believe how poor this experience was. The girls did their job but they were limited in what they could offer which should have been the basic. Here you get LESS THAN the basics. read more

It was my first time at Spa Le Jeane but it won't be my last! I received the most thoughtful gift of a 75 minute message at the spa. Setting the appointment was easy and they called the day before to confirm. Upon my arrival I was greeted by friendly, and helpful staff. The atmosphere in the spa is amazing. The pampering begins with the visual ambiance of the entire place. Just gorgeous! I was escorted to a lounge area where I was provided a comfy robe and slippers. Then we proceeded to another room (large enough for a group of women to experience the spa treatment) where I was given a foot bath by the person who would be doing my massage, Logan! I highly recommend requesting her. She explained ever thing that was going to happen, and asked what aroma's I was partial too. The message package included heat therapy treatment for hands, feet and neck and dry brush therapy. There is wiggle room in designing how you want to spend those 75 minutes. I chose all the special treats. The massage began with the dry brush therapy, which I had never experienced...AMAZING! It could have ended there and I would have been good...lol Then came the heat treatments where cream, plastic bags, and warm booties were placed on my hands and feet and after asuper neck massage a heating wrap on my neck. During the consultation, Logan asked the level of pressure I would like and she was able to keep that consistent the entire time! It also included a scalp and face massage. The entire experience was just awesome. So relaxing and I felt pampered the entire time. I also decided to add eyebrow and lip waxing to my morning and Logan did a great job, such care and gentleness to a less than gentle process. This place would be amazing for bridal parties, a girls pamper day or just a special treat for yourself. And to top it off they are a NO TIPPING spa! That I had never heard of! Word of mouth is the tip they desire...so I hope this equals what I would have given the staff!!!! read more
