Please please pleaseeee never ever get your nails done here! They violently rip them off to the point where the nail bed is almost naked. The technicians aren't exactly the nicest either. I got my nails done here for prom and had an absolute breakdown. they were chunky, horrible thick, and just not what I requested. I wonder why the man who did my nails ran quickly to the back after my appointment..... well it's because he butchered them SO badly. I was crying after paying 55 for them since I had my prom and worked 5+ hours just to get them done for them to be horrible. I am so in love with this place! I was going to Serenity nails because that was the place someone had recommended and the place was filthy, disgusting and nothing was sanitary. As soon as I came here the people were so kind and you could tell instantly how clean everything was! They brought their tools out in bags that had been in a sterilizer and used liner bags for the pedicures. I will never go anywhere else in Santa Fe. read more

I am horrified, concerned and very worried about how short the young woman cut my nails, especially my thumb nails. The nail on my right thumb is so short that I can see the pink flesh from under my nail popping out. :( I can barely touch anything with my thumbs. I was helped by this lady mimi she was rude she cut my cuticles left them bleeding and still blamed me saying my cuticles where dry. I will never go back too that salon. I called the salon when I got home and told them I didn't like my nails at all, I asked the lady if they could fix them an she said "yes come back at 6". When I got there instead of Just fixing my nails or apologizing for cutting my cuticles they asked me why didn't I said right away that I didn't like them. I didn't said anything right away because the Lady doing my nails was already being rude and she made me feel uncomfortable. After I said that, three employees started screaming and the situation got really bad to the point that we had to call the police. I told them that if they didn't want to fix my nails to give my money back so, the lady was gonna start cutting my nails off and my mom told her too soak them and take them off correctly, the lady went off again. I've never in my life time not tipped someone but today I did just that. No tip. And I let her know why. I also tried to give her the benefit of doubt by asking her if she's had a bad day. I so wanted to like this place as it's been recommend by several beauty professionals I see and about every other nail salon in SFe is abysmal. I started to get worried after I got an eye roll when I asked to have the shape of my nails amended. But I thought maybe "square with rounded edges" is not the official term for what I like, so I let it slide. (Tho every other nail salon seems to understand this). But then I got an exasperated sigh when I pointed out an edge of my thumbnail was missed with polish. While my nails were drying I could see some issues but I just really wanted to get out of there. When I got home I could see small bubbles on every nail. My cuticles were roughly trimmed and most painted over. The edges of some of my nails were rough with cotton fuzz stuck to them. It looked like I painted my own nails with my left hand. Lol. I ended up taking off the polish ASAP, re-filing my nails and buffing to make them smoother and repainting them. They still look like I painted them with my left hand, but at least they look a bit better. Thank god it was only $19. read more

I've working in the customer service industry for over a decade, so I hate leaving negative comments. But this place is just discriminates against younger people. My sister had her nails done today and did not like how the nail tech was leaving the shape of the nails. My sister let her know (since she's spending over $50 they should care) as nice as she could to not offend the nail tech, and instead of adjusting or letting my sister know she wasn't done or ANYTHING. The nail tech gives her the stink eye and ignores her. I get it she's young, but nails ain't cheap honey!!! She wasn't happy with the outcome of her nails PERIOD, but she was nice enough not to complain. After that they get offended for not getting tipped because of neglect.! Sorry guys! Walked in this morning without an appointment, was greeted courteously & seated immediately in one of their comfy & sparkling clean spa chairs. Kenny did a wonderful job on both my hands & feet (my cuticles & calluses definitely needed special attention) and other than suggesting I use gel polish to make my manicure last longer made no effort to up-sell added services. I had a horrible experience at this nail salon. I came for a mani/pedi before my wedding because it was seriously the only place in town I could find that had openings. After waiting for 20 minutes, having the woman try to switch out the color I had chosen, and explaining to her that this was for my wedding and showing her pictures of what I wanted, she still did a horrible job! My manicure looked super sloppy and rushed. I brought it up to the owner and asked if they could fix it to make it look more neat. She proceeded to tell me that it was because I had "bad cuticles", not because the nail tech rushed and did a careless job. I get manicures regularly and have never had any issues. She was very rude and in the end they wouldn't fix the sloppy job or help in any way. My friends and family agreed the manicure looked like a mess. The location is very sketchy. The lack of warmth from the owner and the other workers makes you feel they don't really like you or what they're doing. I had three people doing different things to me. My nails (a powder dip lasted less than a week!! Normally they last 3 weeks! The owner a woman was rough, she got polish on my toes and I had to ask for it to be removed. I made an appointment for 1 PM today at this spa. I made the appointment several days ago. When I arrived just now, five minutes early, they informed me that they had canceled my appointment. They said that they had called me to confirm my appointment and since they weren't able to reach me, they canceled it. Of course, I never received any call or message. The woman in the spa shamed me loudly, in front of other people, for not confirming my appointment that I had made on the phone a few days previously. Of course, they did not mention this requirement When I made the appointment. I understand that sometimes mistakes are made, but this is a ridiculous policy and they were very rude and dismissive and its implementation. Cleanest And most Detail oriented Nail Salon I have been to in Santa Fe! They use liners and gloves then on top of that during Covid they have you wash your hands before touching the polishes and they clean out the pedicure tub with sanitizing wash. They do a great job at cutting out the nail so I don't get ingrowns. Plus they have a good attitude. read more

I am doing this on behalf of my mother who doesn't have a yelp account. She was VERY disappointed after last pedi appointment. She had been there several times before with no complaints, however this last time she was rudely greeted by Mimi and felt as though she was inconveniencing her although she was the lady who set the appointment. Pedicure was poorly done, skin was cut so badly it was bleeding and still is red and tender. Anybody could have painted her nails better than a "professional". Don't give them business anymore. This is a ONE-derful place to have manicures & pedicures. Andy gave me a spectacular pedicure, and mani too. But he had a hard job with my toes. Due to traveling it had been several months since I'd had a pedi and, honestly, afterwards I wanted to call him Dr Andy because it felt like healing work that he did on my poor sad toes. The salon is so clean it sparkles and everyone who works there was friendly and welcoming. I will be going back. The only upset I have is with Yelp because there were other very positive reviews that I can no longer see. My experience was neutral if not sub par. The staff wasn't very friendly or forthcoming. Also my manicure was jagged and there were striations in my clear coat. The lady was rough as hell with my cuticles, I was scared. I even heard another client complain about possible pain and from what I could hear she was told she "already had a cut".
