I went for an audition today, and the company didn't even bother to show up. I checked with the receptionist several times, to make sure I was at the correct location, and I was. She also informed me that OPP Didn't book a room, which sounds like a red flag. Don't come here, unless you want to waste your time. I went to audition for another show last year, and it was cancelled due to lack of interest. What a wonderful surprise to find this theatre group. Ocean Pines Players presented "Four Old Broads" at St. Peter's, Ocean City, Maryland. The calibre of professionalism was excellent! The production pacing was quick, precise and fun! The set was well suited to the limitations presented at this venue. And, the actors performed their roles with energy and commitment - and appeared to be having fun at the same time. It was nice to see actors that actually related to each other than just saying the lines. All the actors did a wonderful job, however, shout outs need to go to the actors that played Beatrice and Imogene. Both were stand outs in their roles - their comic timing was excellent and it was always fun to watch the two of them on stage. A solid, well-directed show! Looking forward to Ocean Pines Players next production. read more
