This particular American Legion Post is very convenient for those that live in southern Calvert County. It's a fairly large building, with a meeting hall in the back, a large institutional type kitchen and a large bar area in the front. There is an outdoor smoking area on the North side. I visited recently as a guest for hamburger night. Burgers were pretty good and the prices are very reasonable. Bar prices as well are extremely reasonable. If you are a qualified veteran and are looking for great place for socializing this post would seem to fill fill the bill.

Yelled at her when she tried to play a slot machine because she wasn't a member rather than just informing her. There were no postings about it. Then when they were done with their drinks, they pushed their drinks aside and got up to leave and the bartender quickly opened another beer and told him he had to pay for it and argued with him about it. That he needed to play the bottle down if he didn't want another. It was just all around an awful and purely rude experience. Staff and customers need to be completely redone and traded out for fresh and kinder models. Bitterness and rudeness isn't cute y'all.

The great thing about this particular AL is that it may be the ONLY place on the Shore capable of becoming a night club (with the exception of a fire in the middle of the woods). If you have ever had to stay on the shore for a weekend you will completely understand why this place gets 5 stars. My last visit was this past thanksgiving holiday. All the fun of the holiday basketball tournament and seeing all the friends I grew up with had passed and the friends that managed to get away from the shore after high school all wanted something to do. Since Patron is capable of making you tipsy (go figure), we decided not to go too far and the AL is where we crashed. It was a fairly good time. I don't really recommend anyone that doesn't have any connection to the shore go. The bar was a table... nuff said. All in all, just being with old friends and family was great. If you are looking for exclusive night club then this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for something to do while stranded on this island because family member are guilt tripping you, and you don't mind the bartender being as drunk as you are, then check it out.... you just might enjoy yourself.

The post is small, but has a number of active members and ongoing activities. It is open 7 days a week, and everyone was welcoming. The facilities are a little dated, but given the priorities for the post are focused on service not having a "pretty" new feel. I'd recommend this post to any vet or family member of a vet.

I do feel like this was a one and done visit. The cleanliness and concern of throw up is a reason I would not return for a nighttime outing. I got to Seacrets right as the sun was setting. It was picturesque outside on the sand holding a spicy marg and taking sunset photos with friends. We then went to a part of Seacrets playing music that reminded me of my 2010 college days. It was nostalgic and so much fun. At this point the cleanliness began to take a turn for the worst and it was truly reliving a fraternity party. I had to go to the bathroom and my stall was out of paper. I used what I could find on the ground to wipe. People around me were clearly drinking too much. The music is so loud you cannot hear people slurring their words and I could see how some guests may accidentally get over served. I danced for hours to the DJ set and then phenomenal live band playing sounds ranging from Paramore to Michael Jackson. As we were leaving my friend needed to go to the bathroom and opened up the single use stall near the exit. There was vomit covering the entire bathroom floor. Who knows when that will be cleaned up. It still makes me gag thinking about the site. Overall I had a wonderful time but I would be weary to return due to the unpredictability of vomit and toilet paper restocking.
