The first few visits I felt i was not saving much but with the Insider appreciation days promotion we got plenty of good deals i bought more in one trip then all the previous trips combined its a game changer, hopefully they will have more promotions like this, the store is also very organized and the staff at the location are always very friendly. read more

The fact that big lots closed and got replaced with this store is a travesty. It's by far the worst discount store I've ever been in. Big lots sold things you actually needed or used , it had things for people of all ages, was trendy without going out of style every five minutes and always had something you needed or wanted. Job lot is like if a hardware store had a baby with your grandmas pantry and your grandpas garage. I'm so disappointed. At a time where we needed big lots, we've been cursed with job lot. read more

On May 15th I purchased an expandable water hose for $29.99. I used the hose for 5 days on May 21st the hose ripped in the middle and became useless. I looked in the garage bag and found the receipt. I returned to Job Lots and was looking to get a replacement hose. I was told that I couldn't return the hose because I didn't have the original plastic container the hose came in. I showed them the receipt but, still they wouldn't replace the damaged hose because I didn't have the package it came in. read more

It was difficult to get them on the phone while waiting, so we had to go back to the store for updates. When it was delivered the drawer was broken, the wood rail inside was splintered. The delivery guy said he was NOT skilled in repair, but he jammed a few screws in the wood and the drawer worked. He said to call the office and they would send someone out. If I had gotten a great price I may have let it go, but we PAID full price. I did call, and they explained they had a death in the family. They lost their repair guy, so rather than screw around he said he would order me a new dresser and replace it. I offered him to refund me a small amount on the dresser and I would hire my own repair guy. He declined and said I should get a new one. That was over a year ago. We never got it. Several calls were not returned. From our experience, they have coastal furniture, just don't expect discounts, timely delivery, or follow up service. You get what you get.

But as the older gentleman astutely pointed out "all dog crap smells it's not like some have it perfumed!!". As if these chain of events were not exciting enough, the older gentleman then may begin to tell you a story! For our experience we heard about his times in Romania when he couldn't shut the windows because of the flys. We'll never forget Heritage House Rattan Interiors. In looking for a quality enclosure for our hot tub, we looked at a great many companies, on-line as…read morewell as brick and mortar. The folks at Oak Tree Sheds and Gazebos came through with exactly what we needed. The most impressive part of the transaction was the person who actually delivered the structure. The opening between our driveway gates (once removed) is 10 feet two inches. The structure is 12x10. It took over two hours to move the building from the truck to the location where the structure needed to go. Fantastic attention to detail, patience and tenacity. This gentleman was amazing. The company advertises "built by the Amish", but I'm not sure if that is intended to be a warning or an enticement? The quality of the structure is a bit disappointing. Several roof joists were split/cracked and had to be repaired, and it is obvious from the way the roof is constructed; smaller sheds are adapted to size by adding multiple roof truss on either side of what was a smaller shed without a center ridge support. The truss is attached to the top of the base structure only. Several nails used for that purpose were bent over, or not attached to anything, when pigeon-towing into the structure. The windows were not secured well, you could see light coming through the side of the window and the structure and they had to be caulked as they leaked water when it rained. Overall not what I consider to be quality construction for the nearly six-grand we spent.
