Most salons where I've had it done seem to rush through the process and leave my nails in a bad state. I left Nail Pro feeling like my nails were decently healthy after a gel removal. IMPORTANT NOTE: -Nail Pro DOES NOT accent credit cards! Cash or check only. There's a nearby ATM though. PROS: -My gel nail polish removal was really well-done with attention to detail and caring for my nails. The gel polish was fully removed, and when there was a small sparkle left, the salonist attempted to remove it before saying he was going to leave it there for fear of damaging my nail. My nails left the salon looking pretty darn awesome compared to every gel-polish removal I've done before. -Nail Pro was able to fit us in last-minute. We were a walk-in appointment, and they had no problem fitting us in. -This nail salon is also located near a grocery store and lots of other restaurants. It makes it nicely located to quickly stop in and get your nails done if that's what you want to do. CONS: -It's a very small nail salon. It seems like there are a limited number of employees here. There are two waiting chairs and just a few manicure and few pedicure stations. I'm not sure they have a bathroom here. -Nail polish colors are relatively limited compared to much larger salons. This isn't the end of the world (since the nail polish colors of large nail salons are way too many), but if you're looking for a very, very specific color, they might not have it. It seems like they have more-than-enough colors to choose from though. -For some odd reason, when we attempted to call the nail salon beforehand, no one answered the phone. No biggie, we instead opted to stack our appointments in the only way that was available: a massage and a facial at 9:30, and another massage and facial at 10:30. The morning of our appointments at 8:30, an hour before our appointments, they called to tell us their facial person had a fever. Our other option was getting a facial at 11 or at 2. We decided to cancel entirely. If you are claiming to be a spa, I'd assume there'd be multiple employees available to service various needs. I also find it ridiculous that they have a 24 hour cancellation policy, however we were only given an hour notice of our facials being canceled.

However, I regret not doing a thorough check beforehand because I ended up with bleeding fingers and crooked nails. I'm not sure if it's the cheap or old nail polish or the faulty LED lamp. They had to buff my entire nails to redo the polish because it was bubbling out, which resulted in scratches. I had to ask him to stop buffing it because it was already bleeding, but he didn't seem to understand. He continued buffing for at least 30 more seconds before telling me to wash my hands. I pointed out that three of my nails were bleeding because of the excessive buffing, he looked like he was annoyed when i said that and with an attitude, he said he would give me $5 off. It's not the discount that I'm looking for; I want to see sincerity and an apology. If you're looking for a relaxing experience, please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
