It was expensive also and was chosen due to that it fitted 6 pax... One in the party sweared to oceanfront and that was indeed breathtaking. So we went to Walmart and bought an air mattress, but obviously not so good option to sleep for 5 nights. The resort however was clean and the staff in general was attentive and service minded. Especially the staff at the front door was one of a kind. In the steaming hot weather there was always a smile and we will fix attitude when golf cart picked and dropped us to the parking lot. The food in the View bar was great, but a little more attentiveness could have been better. The restaurant had also amazing food, butpricey. It helped that you get 25 paper money for each day that can be spent in the bars or the eating places in addition to kids under 11 eat free. The ice cold water, fused with berries and the ice cold tea is a work of genius, placed outside by the pool and the lobby. The cost for an umbrella and a couple of chairs 60 dollars at the beach is pricey, so go to Walmart and buy instead chairs for the entire tour for the cost of one day. The beach was clean but unfortunately too much seaweed, so that was a minus. Rooms weren't cleaned but the towel and garbage was changed and picked. We had to book that a day prior. We didn't have a roomphone that worked the entire trip, in addition the drawer by the bed, wouldn't close. That was also annoying but again the pools, the oceanfront view and the beach all made up for that. So all in all, new experience and fun for the small kids but we will look for other option that aren't that pricey but with oceanfront. It was many of those that weren't listed online that were better in terms of location and cost

There were crumbs on the floor in several rooms, the sheets on the beds seemed not to clean or changed. Just so people know i know people in this business, be aware that your bed sheets and linings are washed at the cleaning crews homes in there washers who god only knows how clean these people are or of your bedding is being washed with, if it even is. We weren't informed that two weeks prior to our arrival that the unit several floors below was engulfed in flames while under construction. Half the pool was closed due to the fire and debris that was still on bottom of pool, we weren't informed of this either. The room had sewer gas coming into it all week long probably due to the plumbing issues from the fire below . There was scaffolding set up outside our balcony due to fire, nice to look at all week. Im in the construction field, so last thing i want to deal with while on vacation is construction noise which come Monday morning there was. Kim from Kims condos basically called me a liar saying there wasn't construction going on at the time. Cmon kim! I know construction and what it sounds like! I brought up these issues with Kims condos and in a nice way was basically told tough shit! This company is nothing but a cash grab and could give two dead flies if your stay was pleasant or not. Is the owner of unit of 801 aware of this shitty business? If they are they are just as guilty of poor business. Ive stayed all up and down these beaches from ft. Walton to Seaside. And always have had wonderful times. Ive also had great stay's at long beach through different company's. Unfortunately we didn't check out Kims Condo's reviews and see all the negative's that were there. Basically all the same complaints. Also i know folks at long beach resort, here in the next few months the whole place will be under construction getting a face lift. There has been meetings and most agree to shut down during construction, but not Kims Condo's she is planning on renting out the units not telling people anything! So just a heads up on that! My next move is to contact the owners of unit 801 about some sort of reimbursement for our Shitty stay at their unit. Kims Condo' s basically told us to go kick rocks. She is bad business for the owners as well as Long beach resort Panama city beach! .

That was over half of our trip. We left and couldn't stay there at all. You guys and your negligence ruined our last trip of the year. The pic I included: This is 1 pic that I have of 1 of the roaches in the kitchen. This one was actually still alive as it was moving it's antennas and legs. I couldn't catch the others that were running. I was too busy running for my life. If it was only this one I might have been able to get over it. We booked a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo months in advance via a third party app. The condo itself was really nice, updated, clean and had an amazing view from the front and back. This is mostly in part to a great, responsive owner who takes care of their unit and is willing to fix issues as they arise. Now to the bad. The property as a whole is what I would guess as mostly used for vacation rentals with some year round residents sprinkled it. The place is massive. It's a high rise resort that was poorly built in my opinion. It has 22 floors with so many rooms. The catch is, there are not even close to enough elevators to handle the amount of guests and residents at any given time of the day. You have to plan your day around the elevators which wasn't on my bingo card with my meticulous planning I do for vacations. On top of that, the AC doesn't work in the elevators and if you decide to take the stairs, it's basically a sauna in there too. The main corridor to all the rooms is exposed to the elements so it has a dirty feel to it. The parking attendant and the front desk staff was not friendly at all. Never had an issue finding a decent parking spot though. One of the things that drew us to this place was all the amenities. The pictures online depict a really nice resort look. All the things advertised were there but we hardly got a chance to use them because of all the time wasted on elevators. They have 5 different pools including a kiddie pool, an island pool, and even a rooftop pool. We checked out the rooftop pool which had nice views, but the water features were not working and the hot tub was roped off. It was summer time so the pools stayed busy. Staying here, you get public and private beach access within walking distance. Just make sure and always have your wrist band on to use all the amenities. They also have dining options such as a taco place, a buffet, a sandwich shop, candy shop and a pizza joint. Again, this is strictly about the resort as a whole and not so much where we stayed inside of the resort. Our room was great. In this case, the bad outweighs the good, mainly because of time wasted on elevators. Though we had an amazing time in PCB, I can not see myself ever booking a room at this place.

We didn't use the pool, but it would be welcome respite on a hot day, especially if you're trying to entertain a little one. I recommend just giving them a call and telling them what you're looking for. They will do their best to accommodate your needs.
