The oceanaire is absolutely divine! We came with a group of friends that have a timeshare and we booked separately and our room was way nicer than theirs surprisingly. The scenery and views are breath taking! I loved every second of it. The only reason why I gave them a 4/5 star was because some of the staff was not very pleasant especially for a timeshare property. The concierge lady lied to me about my reservation in order to potentially get me to sign up for a timeshare meeting before she got off in 30 mins. Also the bellman was an older guy who told us we need to lower it down when we came back on NEW YEARS! We were not loud and literally no one was around us. Even the front desk person laughed. So other than the few staff members, everything was amazing and we'd definitely come back. read more

Very disappointing stay. Despite calling ahead for a birthday visit, the room smelled of smoke, the ocean view was obstructed, and the second room was not clean. Staff were unhelpful in resolving issues, and the experience fell far below expectations for Hilton Grand Vacations. read more

Prices are accessible, great location Oceanside, great view of the ocean from the balcony. Housekeeping is not good as they did not do the beds, came in dropped some towels and left. Other than that, I would say is a great price for what you get. Oh, and don't fall for the sales pitch for timeshare. read more

We've stayed here a couple of times before but it was closer to their opening. This is the sister resort to Ocean Beach club (next door) and has been maintained in a better way although there are some signs of aging. We had a 2 bedroom Ocean view suite with full kitchen & somehow, to our surprise, the view was just as good as ocean front -with a balcony in both rooms. Room was in good shape and we didn't have any of the maintenance issues we had with our stay at the Ocean Beach Club. Parking garage is not as close as it is to the OBC (about a block away) That said, the beach area in front of this resort wasn't crowded the entire week which was a plus. They don't have a Fitness room but the OBC fitness room is available-a short walk next door and on the 17th floor. We liked the adult only Aqua pool area and unfortunately the 9th floor sun deck was closed all week for a private event (although we didn't see any activity). Overall, right on the beach & people at the counter and throughout were friendly and service minded. read more

I've had several things I did not like about this place or that was irritating. First off, the parking is difficult and horrendous. The entrance of the place is like a circle and should be one way. However, when we came, a car was parked in the way and facing the opposite direction, causing a back flow and major frustration to many people especially with the tropical storm on the way. It's supposed to be a loading and drop off zone I believe. Some of the cars are maybe parked there for valet but valet shouldn't be taking that long especially after being handed the keys. Valet is I believe $8/day, not worth it if their free parking is like a block and a half away. The resort gives you a parking pass/card where you put the card to the machine in the parking garage. They don't actively enforce wearing masks, and they also don't have a limit in the elevators. Someone should be at the lobby enforcing a limit to the number of people allowed or at the very least have a sign for it. The sign that I have seen tells people that they must wear masks in public spaces, but I have seen several people not do so. Some people also ignore the footprint signs on the floor and overpack the elevator. They also need hand sanitizer stations especially with people using the carts for luggage and elevators. The luggage carts are also very hard to steer, heck it can't even go in a straight line for one yard. I hope they sanitize the carts too; they do not state this policy. The people who did help us were nice. When our fridge was leaking, the man (bens? Vance? Vence? Bentz? | I didn't quite catch his name) was very nice and was not aggressive or salty when explaining the issue. He answered my parents' questions nicely and told us that the people who were cleaning it must have defrosted the fridge. He put a towel down to soak up the water. Also when we asked the front desk if they had complimentary items, she said nicely that they did have toothbrushes but not toothpaste. Luckily we had toothpaste but not toothbrushes, so that was a big help. I am skeptical regarding their policy to cleaning things. I found hair in the bed. My room had a loud booming/humming sounds maybe from the AC? It's enough to give me a headache. It's a constant annoying deep sound. As someone who travels a lot, I'm absolutely upset that this happened and this is the first time anything of the sort has happened. Our balcony was directly connected to someone else's. If we turn to the right, then we get the "ocean view." read more

I would love to give this place 5 stars but alas I cannot. The staff is wonderful. Especially Lex at the front desk she was amazing and one of the reasons I didn't give you three stars! Lex gave me recommendations for shrimp tacos, she remade my cards every time they got deactivated, and she let me know when my crabs came from Maryland! She's the best! Parking: Now onto the parking. Why do I have to pay $12 a day for parking and why is it 2 blocks away? These are things you must take into consideration when booking this timeshare. The elevator in the parking garage was hit or miss. Sometimes it worked and well sometimes it didn't and I had to walk down the 5-6 flights of stars. The hotel must have been at 100 percent capacity because I could never find parking until the 4th or 5th floor. The room: The suite was really nice with all the bells and whistles. It has a full kitchen and table with seating for ten. three balconies, two bathrooms, a living room with seating for 15, surround sound and jetted tubs. The works. But the place was not well kept. When we arrived it needed lightbulbs replaced, the freezer didn't work, the tub in the master suite never held water for more than 15 minutes and there was sand from the beach in every corner! Every corner which lead me to believe that they just swept the sand into the corners and called it clean. I understand that good help is bard to get. I owned a commercial cleaning company for 15 years and cleaning is one of the most thankless jobs, but for the penthouse you have to do a thorough job. It's just expected for the price range. The views were great and everything we called or complained about was taken care of in a timely fashion. I ended up staying the last few days at another diamond resort. I would probably stay here again because of the great staff. It reminded me of being on a cruise. read more

One of the best things this place has, is the view from the pool and spa, yes it could be bigger as a lot of people ask, but to me and my party was big enough and we even have more room for people. Has cockroaches. Their was a cockroach in the lobby when we checked in, we had a cockroach in our sleeping room, and had them on our balcony. I have been coming to the Oceanaire for about the past 15 years and this year the are everywhere. Not sure if this is up to HILTONS standards but it's not meeting my standards. read more

Once upon a time, this resort was the tallest and best-est place to hang your beach towel and sandals. Once upon a time when your room was inadequate, they addressed the problem or switched your room. Once upon a time, the service was stellar meaning those at the front desk took personal interest and pride in ensuring the best stay possible. This is no longer the case... Upon arrival on 12/27/2020, we got checked in (two rooms) quickly but noted our request (and promised) same-floor suites request had been overlooked. Room #1 (10th floor) in fair order. A broken safe, yes, but hey, we had two others on the 12th floor. 12th floor 2-bedroom suite - main suite 1222A smelled of fish/ old bay. We immediately notified the front desk and was told there was no room available for switch but they would have someone come up and spray. No one showed. Front desk called back later saying "time for me to go home but we'll send someone up from security to spray". No one showed. Next morning - called again - promised a room odor sanitization - no show. So we went to Harris Teeter, purchased some febreeze - sprayed -better - sprayed again next day - odor pretty much gone. Showers? Okay if cold/ lukewarm meet your need. Otherwise - prepare for an uncomfortable shower every time. Wasn't just 1222A but also 1222B and 1022B - so as far as we could tell - "cold/ lukewarm showers" are the norm this time of year. Upon checkout, got the famed "how was your stay?". Responded with courteous, constructive feedback - no "we're sorry", no "thank you for the feedback", no...nothing. We'll find another spot and recommend others do the same. Maybe if the occupancy drops off, Oceanaire will return to their "once upon a time"... read more

Pretty nice resort, our group had a few 2 bedroom suites and there was plenty of space. Each bedroom had its own bathroom attached with a living and dining space. The jacuzzi... just put your feet up and grab a drink cuz it's time to relax! No kids allowed in the adult pool but there's two pools connected for the kids with sprinklers and mini water splashes all over the place. I could see them clean the beach every morning and this is probably the BEST thing about our stay, (maybe most ppl know but we had no idea) if you wake up around 7-8am there's a family of dolphins that just jump in and out of the water all morning! I mean amazing to see each day! One day we counted at least 7 of them, so if you stay here you must have an ocean front view! read more

Completely disappointed with our recent stay. We called an hour out to check if our room was available. We were told that our room was ready. When we arrived we checked in and got our room key. Upon opening the room door you could instantly see that nothing was cleaned. There looked like soda had been exploded on several walls and the ceiling. There were fingerprints all over the glass and stains running down the cabinets, food in the microwave, hair in the soap dish and tub, floors weren't vacuumed, there were hairs on the head board and something sticky on the back of it and the night stand, including in the night stand drawer. The only thing that had been done in the room was the bed made and towels put in the bathroom. We immediately went downstairs and told the girl and the front desk. We asked for a different room and she told us they were overbooked and all they could do was send someone to clean the room. While we were waiting for housekeeping we went down to speak to the manager and show her pictures so she knew just how dirty it was, she didn't care at all and just told us someone would be there as soon as they could. While we were at the front desk we overheard other guests talking about how dirty their rooms were as well. One woman said she was waiting for a shower curtain since 9am, it was 3pm. We went up and waited about an hour for housekeeping. A nice young man showed up and we showed him things that needed cleaned. He was nice and cleaned what we showed him but nothing more. He didn't bring a vacuum or do any thorough cleaning other than what we specified but he did do a nice job and that was very polite. After the room was "cleaned" and we unloaded our things we went to move our vehicle to the parking garage. The garage cards they gave us upon checking in were expired and we had to return to get new cards to park. Again, no apology, just an, "oh I don't know why it says they're expired." There is zero customer service at this resort!! I wouldn't stay here again if it was free and wouldn't have stayed this time if we hadn't already paid for the room. read more

Do not come here! It is extremely overpriced, and the service is terrible. The wifi speeds are nonexistent. The maids service costs extra, and cant be trusted. My aquarium tickets were stolen. I complained about the horrible internet speeds, and the front desk told me the weather was at fault. That somehow having clouds messed with the wifi. Various lights are burnt out in the room, drapes have stains, and appliances show heavy use. The fridge is stainless steel, but somehow there are huge dents in it. It also looks like someone from the other room tried to break into mine. The door hinge is completely broken. read more

NOTHING AS TO WHAT I EXPECTED FOR THE PRICE AND THEIR REPUTATION. We just checked in, and so far.. nothing to my expectations. Very Overpriced. Room is guarantee for 4pm. Its 4:10, valet denied us a luggage cart. The hotel is very overpriced, I get that it is nice, room suite is huge and accommodated our party of 7. Pools are nice so the kids did enjoy them. The aqua 21 pool was nice for adults only however the nice decor of lights they have above the pool are dirty and disgusting loaded with dead bugs and dirt everywhere. The outside bar is extremely extremely overpriced for literally cups of juice with a splash of alcohol. $13!! If you ask to modify the drink they won't, or their response is "let me see if i can do that cause it's more expensive" ??? The food not that great either. If I do return I hope our stay is more enjoyable than this one. Also, we noticed a poop stain on our sheet the day we arrived. Not at all what I expected. :( read more

Stayed here this weekend for a mini staycation. I am local to the peninsula and we wanted to spend a weekend at the Oceanfront to enjoy spring break. We would have had a better experience staying at a Super 8. This place was overpriced, and I was very underwhelmed. I had high expectations based on other reviews, photos, and the price point. Between the stained, ripped towels they gave us to use and the severely outdated room, I will not be staying here again. They don't answer the phone ever. They charge a lot for a luxurious hotel and the rooms are not any better than $80 motels on the side of the highway. They call themselves a resort, but when we asked about what they offer, they tried to sell us on a "tour" for "free vacations." The entire diamond resort operation is ridiculous. Was definitely the worst hotel experience. read more

The Oceanaire resort is amazing. The rooms are big and comfortable. The staff let us check in early as I was suffering from a cold and really needed to lay down. There are multiple pools including an adult only pool! My only small grip is the 10am check out is way to early and the 4pm check in is to late. It's good to ask for an early check in. Valet could be friendlier. I asked one for a luggage cart and got an attitude. We only stayed one night but I would like to stay here again next time I'm in town. read more

have never had to right such a negative review for any establishment but, this has been the most dreadful reservation process I have ever experienced. After two days of speaking with representatives from Booking.com, the Oceanaire Resort property in Virginia Beach, VA and reservation department for Diamond Resorts I am still not reserved in the room that I am desiring, and continue to get the runaround. Based on the videos from the website for the Oceanaire Resort , the room that I am looking to book is the 2 Bedroom Oceanfront Suite. This is the one with the big glass shower that sits in middle of the room with a separate tub that sits across the room. This, however, is misleading and in all honesty seems like false advertising because this shower can only be found in the penthouse ( per the reservation department and the front desk) which is not listed anywhere including any third-party vendor or the hotels website. There will only be 2 guests in the room, so technically we don't even need the second bedroom. What sold me on the room was that bathroom! Noone at the hotel/reservation department that I have spoken to has yet to take any accountability for such misleading information and just blames Booking.com or says that the reservation is too far out to do anything and to try calling back closer to t2he time of the stay. First, lets be honest, the reservation is for the weekend of Valentine's Day, how likely is it that room will be available? Also, how can the fault be placed on Booking.com when its the hotels website showing videos of a room that doesn't actually match what the room truly looks like? Come on now whatever happened to taking ownership. The worse part is that the room is nonrefundable and I am stuck with a room that doesn't meet my expectations set by the hotel. Thats hundreds of dollars wasted. To say that I am livid is an understatement and the service that I have received has been nothing shy of egregious. I have never been this unsatisfied with any hotel that I have ever stayed with and will not accept this odious customer service as the final say. read more

Too bad I can't give fewer stars. Just checked in and so far I'm not impressed at all. $600+ for one night. We paid 100 dollars extra to reserve Ocean view suite with a queen bed and received a view of the street on the 3rd floor. No ocean view unless you lean off the balcony to look out. And the bed is full size not queen. So far definitely not worth the money. Also the parking is a block or two off site so you have to walk to get there and carry your bags and stuff. Aside from all these issues the concierge and receptionists are not super friendly and were condescending to my fiancé when we asked about the issues with the room. Also, there isn't even complementary breakfast which is a staple at any other hotel... The only thing I can say good is the pool is nice, it's right on the beach, and the room is quite clean as far as I can tell. Definitely does not feel like a resort feels more like a motel. Would not go again or ever recommend to anyone. read more

This hotel was adequate as a location for a business meeting. The beds were comfy, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were big enough for one person. There are also mini (micro?) kitchens in the rooms. However, I would never stay here on vacation for several reasons: 1) Except for a handful of rooms, the rooms are fairly small and have two double beds....no queens or kings! 2) No restaurant on the premises. There was no room service either. This is what bothered me the most. This is a nice beach hotel. If I want a nice beach vacation I want the ability to stop downstairs for breakfast or be lazy and order something up to my room if I want to. I did have a few meals here for catering and they were pretty bad. 3) The gym is in the building next door. It is not directly on the premises. I find this inconvenient. Although my company was charged a reasonable rate, it seems like this hotel usually charges upscale resort prices for a property that does not have upscale facilities. read more

I love the look of the first floor...Aqua 21...Ultra Lounge...large full length mirrors adjacent to the elevators...Let Me take SEVERAL Selfies!!! I have just listed by loves. This hotel is my least favorite of the Gold Key Resort properties for several reasons: 1: Front Desk Staff 2: Shared amenities 3: Parking 4: Small rooms This was my first and last time staying at this property. From the moment the hotel was booked to the day I checked out, my level of satisfaction remained as is... not happy! The hotel was booked for two nights online with hopes of getting the promotional offer for Halloween weekend. However, I was not aware until I arrived at check-in that the promotional offer ended 48 hours before the date of the event, 10/31. There were no dates of "please call by" "book by" "you must" nothing of that sort. Therefore, upon checking in I just knew I would receive 2 passes to the SkyBar (Hilton Garden) for Friday night and Saturday night and two $25 drink vouchers for the SkyBar. When I arrived to check in, I then was informed of the deadline to book the room. Of course, if I would have known this I DEFINITELY would have not stayed at this property. I viewed the hotel when it first opened a few summers ago, and then too, I wasn't impressed by the rooms. The rooms are much smaller than all other properities. A turnoff...this is the last property added to the Gold Key Resorts family and it is by far the worst. The views are awful and the staff just mediocre. One front desk clerk in particular, Wanda, oso rude from check-in to check-out. Not sure if she had a bad weekend, but she did not exemplify any customer services skills or tactics at no time. She went as far as to hang up in my ear when I tried to reach the front desk before I checked on Sunday (11/02). When she finally decided to speak, I asked for a late check out (instead of 10am, 11am) she replied, "I have given out a lot of extensions to other guests already." I'm not sure what they had to do with me, but to not answer my question initially and yet reply with a rebuttal was definitely unprofessional. I asked to speak with a Manager and she hung up. So I called again a few minutes later and a man answered. At that point I was informed he was the manager and again asked for a late check out. After a few sentences, he did not see a problem with the extension. Such a headache... So parking is not included in your stay. Parking each day is $8 and they bill you for it. This is a public garage and I believe Virginia Beach residents park for free but guests of the hotel must pay...hideous. Another "not so good thing" is that this hotel shares amenities with their sister hotel Ocean Beach Club (in my opinion total opposite experience than this property). Shared amenities include: fitness center and pool (indoor and outdoor). Another reason to not book at this property. I also did not see a walk way that leads directly to Ocean Beach Club. Therefore, you have to walk down a hallway...walk outside (about 30 steps), then enter into the Ocean Beach Club (near the indoor pool). Aye yi yi. So after all this hassle...we did get admission into SkyBar. But that even seemed to be far fetched. We arrived Halloween night at SkyBar and showed our room key and was told the hotel (Oceanaire) should have given us wristbands to serve as our admission. OOOOOh I was steaming at this point. We dealt with the Concierge, Melinda, and she assured us everything was all set. We checked with her at check-in and we check with the Front Desk Clerk (Halloween Night...not Wanda!) and she called and again assured everything was cool. I tell ya...if I did not have my child with me, we would have definitely stayed at another hotel. We experienced hassle from start to finish. I am so not recommending this hotel. Stay at your own risk. Nevertheless, the drink menu at Ultra Lounge is nice and the drinks are yummy as well. They close at midnight too...so no late creeping will go on here. Aqua 21, the 21 and over (only) pool closes at 10pm or 11pm. But I believe it is 10pm. It's nice to have a pool with no teens, or pre teens, let alone small children running around it. But if you are traveling with small children this is definitely not the hotel to book. Have fun! read more

Had a super awesome time! woke up on the oceanfront to dolphins each morning. Waves crashing. It was so warm, I kept the balcony door open for fresh air and the sound of sea. The kids played in the pool inside and outside, since it was warm enough. The only thing is the hot tub isnt cleaned out regularly (or gets dirty fairly fast- ewww). Kids arent supposed to be in the hot tub (area) and it depending on who you are, they will remind you of the rules... Otherswise, you'll see certain families just hanging around a group of adults getting toasty in the hot tub. Not ok Christmas parade on the boardwalk was nice. there is a market close by to grab stuff for the fridge. The restaurants werent all that tho.. I'd like to know some real decent spots to eat around there. So far, nothing good really. read more

My star rating is more accurately a 3.75. I was pleased with the one bedroom suite. I look for accommodations with a private bedroom. having a full kitchen was also optimal. Indoor and outdoor pool options are also amenities I intentionally seek and this lodging place has that. Another selling point is that it is literally on the beach. This aspect alone made me content with my Valentine's stay. A drawback though, is that parking is a block away. If you choose to self park, like my family and I did, you will need to walk a ways (and in the rain, such as it was the night we checked in). I reserved and paid for a ocean view balcony suite and my balcony was situated such that the majority of my view was the street side and the neighboring building. My view of the ocean was more of a glimpse in between the building next door and the other 2 balconies beside mine. In my opinion this was the gravest aspect of my stay. read more

This hotel is fantastic! First off, if you want to have your room face the ocean, pay the extra $ for OCEAN FRONT. The Expedia description clearly states that ocean VIEW is PARTIAL ocean views. Read the description before you book. Here's everything that I loved: the Jacuzzi tub in the room, the hot tub and heated pool downstairs, the beautiful view, clean room and decor, balcony in the bedroom( we left door open at night and fell asleep to ocean sounds). And very important to me- the shower was hot with good pressure with soft water. I could go on and on. BTW I stayed in the ocean FRONT 1 bdr suite. Cons-wifi is spotty and parking garage is a block away. But I realize that if they had adjacent parking there would not be as much room on the boardwalk for beautiful hotels like this one. Amy at the front desk was AMAZING checking in! So friendly and so engaging. I've stayed at hundred of hotels and she was one of the best I've encountered by being that genuinely nice, smiley and friendly. The property itself is very nice and so were the rooms. You have access to all the Hilton hotel amenities right next door. Whatever you need is within walking distance, great location. The parking garage is only a block away, not an issue at all. We are owners and go for our family vacation every year. Our home away from home. The staff is always wonderful. The young valet Alex is our favorite person there. Greg brought us fresh towels upon request and offered to help with anything we would need. Our room is always beautiful and plenty of space for all 8 of us but we do wonder where our maintenance fees go since some items have not been replaced or repaired in years. Little things like the bathroom door lock and coffee pot lid. Anyone visiting make sure you go to Waterman's and enjoy a few Orange Crush with a fabulous dinner. Rudy's and Rockefeller's are exceptional also. Always sad to leave but happy to be home. read more

The suite on the ocean front was spacious. No blanket in the room or on the bed. Kitchen floor sticky and the living area carpet and bedroom had food and candy left from the last guest. Called the desk and asked for 2 blankets. They said 15-20 minutes. After over 30 minutes my husband went down to the front desk to ask about the blankets. They said 15-20 more minutes. They did finally arrive about midnight! Not impressed with the parking situation. Will choose another place next time read more

We are staying here for spring break and have really enjoyed our time so far. The pools are heated and have kept my son busy. Our room has been clean and efficient. My biggest thing is the air conditioning and let me tell you that it has been 10/10 bc I like it cold and there doesn't seem to be a limit and it worked fast. I used the laundry room, trash chute and towel service at the pool with no problems. I don't understand the low rating I would definitely stay here again. read more

This resort is very beautiful! Nice and perfect for families. There's plenty to do on the board walk including biking, skating, and tons of live music by Neptunes/Hilton Hotel. I'll definitely reccomend this place. Be prepared to spend the big bucks here. It's worth every penny though. 10th floor has a sun deck and chill room for drinks & TV. Spa for adults 21 & over is nice as well. Several pools for everyone to enjoy including my 4 year old. Relax and order some drinks by the bar while you watch the sunset. Overall I woukd give it 10 stars if I could. Parking is located a block over on 34th street so advise you unpack your luggage at the door upon check in. Nice views from 326A!! Nice hotel. Not many amenities. understaffed valet and bellhop means you wait a loooooong time to park or get your luggage. Rooms are large and modern. But queen bed in a large condo is not cool. Most condo hotels have king beds. The worst part is having a partial ocean view called an ocean view. Very inflexible front desk probably because it's such a small hotel with so few rooms per floor. Would like to come back again but not if we get screwed on the room again. Went from a 3 star to 1 star when It took 3 requests to get a baby crib or pack n play and finally some guy drops off the folded dirty pack n play without setting it up and without any sheets. UPDATE: so the hotel still doesn't have much as far as amenities and Iv heard other guests complain that they booked ocean front rooms and ended up with lousy views BUT the customer service has grown on me since the bad experience at check in. The manager actually came to the room and listened to my issues and offered a slight discount on the room. It doesn't make up for the poor view but it does show they at least listen. And the lost and found found my daughter's lost shoes and brought it to our room. So I have to give them props for that and increase my rating to a 3. read more

I am probably doing a disservice to the RESORT when I write this because its not so much the building or the beautiful atmosphere and the pool...that give the illusion that the management and marketing and bartenders all give off that same pleasing aura. if you would assume that the name, looks, price and people walking around in FBI style suits would give you any idea of the class of the other parts of the hotel you would be as sadly mistaken as we were. I could write more but I will save that for the BOARDWALK RESORTS AND VILLAS that are also owned by Diamond Resorts. I will say the BAR .... was 75% of the reason it was given 1 star... if it were for the CEO / MARKETING / SALES there would be NO STARS... except for Desiree... she exits before it gets "ugly" tho.. read more

Hotel was great!!! We had no reservations but they found a great room for us with an awsome view. We took a bike ride up and down the boardwalk and this was far and away the best hotel. Great pool area, food was good. Rooms were brand new and super nice!! I would highly recommend this spot. Talk to Andrew the front desk supervisor!! He was great to deal with. read more

Born and raised in VaBeach but moved away a couple months ago. I was already home sick so I came home and decided to splurge on a "nice" hotel since it was dead of winter. I chose this hotel for the oceanfront view which was the best part of my stay. (Which I definitely paid for!!) I wanted to wake up to the ocean right in my face. I also chose this because it appeared to be a very big room and I was going to have my family and friends over to hangout. It's actually larger than my current downtown loft in a city. Also wanted to have a kitchen, didn't know it was going to be a full kitchen and that was pretty amazing. You might as well just call this an apartment, it would be great for families So all that sounds great right? Well, just stay with me. Pros: you get the view you pay for as far as views go. Oceanfront and ocean view are two different things so be a smart consumer for those complaining about their views. On the boardwalk and close to good restaurants (Pacifica and Eat an American Bistro are walking distance). Valet was very nice to me. The adult pool is nice and there is a kids/family pool. I was excited about the spa bathtub in my room but it was dirty =[ Cons: The power went out one night around 2am and stayed out until around 6am...this was in January on the east coast it was freezing I could see my breath. No lights, no heat, couldn't use the phone to call the front desk. When I finally got ahold of someone with my cellphone I was told it should be back on any minute, there was no sorry or sympathy. Again, it was freezing. Does this fancy hotel not have a freaking generator?!? I'm still pissed about this. Got no sleep that night. The workout room is not in this hotel but it's in their sister hotel next door. Inconvenient. No maid service during my stay at all-I was there for three nights. No new towels. Had a noise complaint and accused of having a party at 10pm on a Friday night. I had two girlfriends over...we were watching tv. Was called every morning with people trying to sell me a timeshare! No, I'm from here don't need a timeshare leave me alone. The bathtub was dirty. Overall, I think this hotel is extremely overpriced and there are other ones to stay at or an Airbnb. The cons outweigh the pros for me personally. I seriously can't imagine people paying double or triple what I did in the summer. *******updated edit. Just got three calls in a row from random numbers all claiming to be some affiliation with this hotel. I hung up on the 3rd person because he was extremely rude. So this hotel not only bothered me every single day with marketing phone calls while I was staying at their hotel but they are now calling my personal cellphone 4 months after my stay.
