Over the phone, I explained that I had two rugs that needed to go a serious, serious deep cleaning -- one rug is about the size of a runner and the other was more of an area rug (8x10). After speaking over the phone and receiving the most competitive offer I had heard to date, we agreed on a time and date for rug pick-up. I emphasized that this just was NOT a rush, as both of these heavily soiled rugs are only used in my classroom - and since it is Summer time - no need for them anytime soon! Since I was receiving such a great deal, I did not want to place any unneeded pressure on them. Later that week, a Chem-Dry representative arrived to my door right on time to retrieve the two rugs. After a few days, I received a text message from Seth that indicated the rugs were finished, and we arranged a mutually convenient time for drop-off. Seth hand-delivered the rugs himself to my home, and boy did they look different! All of the kiddie germs and encrusted dirt were 100% gone! All that remained were the rugs in their near original form - a bright colorful square patterned carpet - and the lingering aroma of a recent deep, deep cleaning. As an afterthought, it would have been nice if I had taken a before and after picture to really show readers how filthy these rugs were! But you'll just have to take my word for it :) Overall, I am very pleased with Chem-Dry's flexibility and willingness to accommodate customer needs and preferences. Based on my single experience, I would attest that this company is run by a gentleman who is determined to beat other estimates and provide you with the best (and most realistic) carpet cleaning service possible.

No receipt left to state what the charges were ( my son was home, I was at work) They have not yet returned my calls. My little carpet cleaner from Sam's club works better than what they did. I've had my carpets cleaned before, so I know it's perfectly possible to get them done. Edit: So Monday they finally called and asked if they could come back out and fix the problems. The owner came out with the original technician and they did the carpets together. I am much more pleased with the work, the carpets look like they have actually been cleaned.

I wondered, should I call a large corporation? Browse through the Clipper magazine to find one of those 'price may vary' coupons? I decided to turn to Yelp instead. I requested a quote through Yelp and the owner, Yaniv, messaged me back nearly instantly with pricing and even offered to honor a Groupon for $39 that I had found for two rooms and a hallway. I was able to schedule an appointment without having to call (this is huge for me when it comes to convenience!). My technician, Danny, was fantastic!! Huge kudos to him for everything he did. He called when he was on his way and arrived on time. He explained everything to me and told me about the different offerings that they had but did not push to up sell me (this is also super important when I choose a company). He cleaned my upstairs bedrooms and hallway quickly but efficiently. I have had a large carpet stain in my hallway since I moved into my home 6 years ago and it tracks into my spare bedroom. No idea what the heck it was but I never expected it to be taken care of with a lower level of cleaning. Danny got that stain almost completely out and I am extremely impressed with the result!! My carpet looks better than it ever has!! This was the best interaction that I have had with a business in a long time. No pressure, no altered pricing and an honest team of hard working people who deserve your business. I will definitely be using In and Out Steamers again for my carpet cleaning. He acted like the entire job was an inconvenience to him. He also stated that his machine would dirty the stairs if we did not elect to pay the extra money to get the stairs cleaned. It's ridiculous that he was going to dirty the stairs and not leave them in the same condition that he encountered. I ended up having to lay down my own moving blankets on the stairs to protect them from him getting them dirty with his equipment. Had I known the type of customer service this business provides I would've taken my money elsewhere. Lesson learned.

There were a few different blood stains on it so I used a cleaner made for upholstery, and although it cleaned the blood stains, it dried leaving several soap rings. It looked horrible! So last Sunday, I decided to find someone to see if they could clean it for me using the Yelp app. Several people responded, but what I liked best about Jack is that he told me he didn't feel right charging me his minimum for what he considered a small job, so he would also clean my rug, which was fine with me. He was $60 less than the other quotes that I received, and he was super quick in scheduling an appointment. We set an appointment for two days later because Monday was a holiday, and he arrived on time. He explained everything upfront, and made suggestions, and was very open minded with what I wanted to accomplish. As you can see from the pictures, he did a great job! I feel like I have a brand new couch and a brand new rug! I was actually looking for other things in my house for him to clean, it was that good! I will definitely use again and will refer him to anybody and everybody that I can! Not only that, he was incredibly affordable and saved me from buying a new couch!
