Great little dog park to allow the free spirits roam. I like the water bowls provided for the dogs. The only thing that would make it better is a wading pool.

We just moved to Jacksonville from San Diego and needed a dog park. I'm impressed and happy we found this park! *LARGE* DOG PARK: Seemed small upon pulling up, but it's nice and big! lack of grass isn't an issue for us, as we are used to not having grass at dog parks (plus poop gets suck in grass, yuck!). Not sure why the previous review says no upkeep? The park doesn't have grass but it's clean! The dog park has benches, dog poop bag stations, dog water fountains, and a paved trail from beginning (parking lot) to end (small dog park entry). It's nice and shaded with trees. Dogs were friendly and owners were attentive and responsible, which was very nice. Can't speak for the small dog park as my dog is 50 lbs haha. We walked around to the tennis court area, courts and nets seem really well kept. The rest of the area by the tennis courts and baseball field was also well kept and free of litter.

Review is based solely on the Dog Park. Pros: Empty - few if no one else was there the few times I visited the dog park. Plenty of parking and no over crowding. Spacious - plenty of space for a pup to run around and play catch. Multiple areas - separate fenced area for large and small dogs. Cons: Poorly kept - looked more like an abandoned empty lot than an actual dog park. Little to no grass, weeds and some type of giant mushrooms growing all over the place. No water - there were a couple fountains but they were locked. Not much to look at, but overall the park serves it purpose as long as you bring your own water and bowl.

Just moved to Jax and found this dog park and was very nice. It fenced and has two areas for small and large dogs. The only downside is that there is no water for the dogs, they have trash cans and poop baggies. It has trees and benches around. The area has bbq area with pinic tables. Some people smoke and leave they cigarrettes around... which I end up cleaning so my puppy didn't eat then. But other wise it was great!!! Take your doggy!!

The explanations that were given raised more questions than answers, and the lack of transparency, accountability, and compassion during such a devastating time has made this bad experience even worse. When you leave your pet somewhere, you expect and PAY FOR proper supervision, safe conditions, and immediate, honest communication if anything goes wrong. In our case, these basic expectations were not met. Losing our pet was heartbreaking. However, losing him while he was in someone else's care was even worse and something that no family should ever have to go through. PLEASE PLEASE think carefully before trusting this facility with your animals.

During his stay, his condition declined. Again, a young, healthy German Sheppard that had a clean bill of health died from bacterial pneumonia after becoming sepsis because no-one responded to blood in stool, not eating for 4 days and could barely walk. The owner acknowledged the lack of response and care from his team in writing. It's infuriating that a letter of apology and accountability is the only response. And now trying to delete and cover up reviews so consumers can't be informed before they leave their baby with them. When a facility delays responding to a medical issue, the outcome can be irreversible. That is what happened to Braxton. A 4 year old, very HEALTHY German Sheppard. Please ask hard questions before trusting ANYONE with your pet. And AVOID boarding facilities where the primary staff caring for your animal are kids. Braxton was forever a sweet boy and I will NOT give up until everyone knows his story!!!!!! #BraxtonStrong
