Dr. Sirjani was an absolute life saver. I have been left in pain for well over a month due to United Healthcare. We visited some about it and he was empathetic and ready to jump right in and help me especially given my pain levels I was experiencing and being 37 weeks pregnant. He was quick, informative, and comforting. I was so nervous during my root canal so to have him talk me through it, especially considering he had to use anesthesia that was going to only last a limited time - it was the best experience I could have imagined. My experience here has been subpar, and extremely unprofessional (they hung up on me when I tried to call). I was a self-pay patient and was informed that my evaluation included imaging as clinically necessary. During my visit, multiple X-rays and two CBCT scans were obtained and interpreted by the provider. I paid the quoted self-pay amount in full ($155) and was later informed by the office that I had no outstanding balance related to the visit itself. However, after requesting copies of my CBCT imaging records, I was told there would be a $200 "copying fee" to obtain the scans. I offered to provide my own storage device and retrieve the files in person, but was told the fee would remain the same. I was then told that the office had not charged me for the CT earlier "as a courtesy," despite previously indicating that my balance from the visit was fully paid. Their explanations on this fee do not logically hold up, especially when under HIPAA, patients have a right to their medical records and a fee MAY be charged if reasonable (e.g. such as associated costs for burning a CD, aka a few dollars). I am so disappointed by how they handled everything as a first time patient and will never come back. I hope others carefully consider whether it is necessary to find treatment with this dentist, as there are many who are kinder and do not engage in underhanded practice. read more

I came here for a root canal and everything went well but I needed to come back for another and the dentist would not take me and said I needed to go get sedated somewhere else because "that tooth is harder to sedate" I went back to my normal dentist and he did my root canal without a problem he said that it was not hard to sedate and he finished within about 30 minutes without anesthesia ... overall would not recommend they seem to not really care about there patients. read more

AMAZING can't even describe the experience. I deal with a lot of anxiety, especially when it comes to the dentist and I came here on a referral he was so amazing. He talked me through all the steps. He told me what feelings to expect. I found myself very calm and relaxed despite how I entered the office expecting to be traumatized. It was the complete opposite. I felt safe I felt like he cared. AMAZING! I have had root canals in the past and there was nothing pleasant about the experience. Today that changed for me. I let them know I have anxiety when it comes to dentists and they took that into consideration every step of the way. My family dentist told I wasn't going to be able to keep the tooth but I am so thankful she sent me to Ocotillo lakes because he said of course you can keep it. That made my day. Thank you so much, no more pain and I got to keep my tooth. Oh side note- I had to use the bathroom and upon sitting down I was greeted with a warm toilet seat. It was awesome! I haven't needed a root canal in over 10 years and I was dreading it. My insurance company had given me a list of contracted endodontists.Even though this practice is over 20 miles away I went for a consultation and was really impressed with the entire staff. I ultimately went back today and the doctor did the dreaded root canal. What really impressed me was that he explained exactly what he was going to do step by step. Told me that even if I had a tiny bit of pain to let him know. It's hard to believe that I didn't feel a thing. I had an appointment for a root canal. Everything was pre approved by my insurance. When I made the appointment, I told them I had a toothache and I needed my work done as soon as possible because I was having major surgery in 2 weeks. I was led to believe that the work would be done and completed in one day. After driving sixty miles to get there, they told me that this was just a routine consult appointment and that my insurance had to ok the work. That was an outright lie. I told them that the work was already authorized and to call my insurance company. I explained that i would be unable to drive for 6 weeks and needed et the work done and that I would not be able to come back for 3 months because of the possibility of infection. In my opinion, he wanted to get paid for 2 visits instead of just one. This has caused a major major problem for me and I definitely would not recommend this.Doctor to anyone for any reason. read more

Got my root canal this Saturday - yes, they are open on Saturdays! Being open on Saturdays is such a blessing, especially since I live all the way in Old Town Scottsdale. I did travel about 30 minutes to get to Dr. Sirjani's and I wouldn't have it any other way. I was referred to Ocotillo Lakes by my dentist at Brennan Dental. To be honest with you, I was avoiding getting a root canal. First, cause I knew it was gonna cost a lot of money. And second, I would have to spend hours on a dentist chair again. But my pain was becoming intolerable so I took my chances and get the procedure out of the way. On a fine Saturday, I was greeted with a smile by the lady at the front desk. I believe I scheduled my appointment with her as well. She sent over online forms for me to fill out prior to arriving so as soon as I got to the office, I didn't even had to sit down to wait since everything was taken care of. As for the procedure itself, I think it went really well!! I felt very minimal pain and when I did, Dr. Sirjani made sure I get numbed before he continued. I got to know every step, what the procedure does, etc. because the doctor explained it so clearly. So clear that I even described it to my boyfriend as soon as I got home! We both learned something new that day. I think knowing what's happening also eased my anxiety. It made me feel like I was in good and capable hands. Dental procedures always stress me out, that's never gonna go away, but it's always nice to hear soothing music (Coldplay - doctor preferred!). Best part? My dental insurance took care of 80% of my procedure and I was relieved that I only had to pay 20%! This is obviously a case-by-case basis but still, it took a huge weight on my shoulders. Thank you Dr. Sirjani and ladies for taking great care of me. I sure hope not to be back anytime soon but if I ever do or anyone I know of does, I will gladly sing praises about your practice. I'm just gonna make this short and sweet ...my Dr was Masood Sirjani...he injected the novicane... prepped me and started to drill...I told him that I wasn't numb...he told my I would not feel anything...he drilled i jumped so high amd started to cry...he then proceeded to say" we are gonna have to stop...this isn't working out... you're gonna have to find someone to use nitro...you can't handle this"...then he walked out...I let the tech have or as.i was walking out...so now I have a temp filling and have to wait longer to get something done read more

Let me start by saying. I have no words to explain the gratitude that I have for the doctor as the staff members. They went beyond help me and do what they could for me. I went in there with so much pain I had an appointment for the 16th of August and I woke up today with this excruciating pain that I didn't think I was going to make it another day I was ready to call my regular dentist to extract my tooth when I received the call from the clinic saying they had a opening for me at 1:00 jump on it. I can't say enough good things about this place! I was having some car trouble the morning that my root canal was scheduled, so I called to let them know I couldn't make it there on time. They were very accommodating and pushed back my appointment to allow me time to get there. Dr. Sirjani was both professional and personable. My granddaughter was in a lot of pain due to a past root canal becoming reinfected. I brought her in to see Dr. Sirjani and he was able to quickly find and treat the infected area. My granddaughter said she felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time! He asked her how she was doing multiple times throughout the procedure and even let her pick the music they listened to! What really impressed me was a few days later the doctor himself called to follow-up and make sure she was not having any discomfort. Cannot thank this office enough for the most relaxing dental procedure I've ever had.  I have seen many dentists and specialists, and have had plenty of issues in the past with other offices, so when I found out I had to have a root canal, I was anxious about it to say the least.  The minute I walked into Dr. Sirgani's office, I could see that the experience would be at a different level.  The environment calmed my nerves immediately.  It was spotless, with bright sunlight coming in through huge windows, and felt much more like a spa than a dental office.  The waiting room had leather armchairs and (as the name implies) overlooked a rippling lake with a waterfall.  The staff greeted me warmly.  Dr. Sirgani could not have been more caring or gentle.  He explained the procedure thoroughly and placed a top priority on addressing my fears and making sure that I did not feel any pain throughout.  This was EXTREMELY important to me.  I could not believe how easy the procedure was, and I had no issues at all during or after the procedure.  Everything in the treatment room and the rest of the office looked new and modern, and was also designed for a relaxing experience with monitors showing nature scenes and playing calm music.  Nobody tried to sell additional services or products to me.  Dr. Sirgani also contacted me after my visit to make sure that my recovery was going well.  How many dentists will do that for their patients?  I am so happy that I found this office, and while I hope not to need any more root canals, it will be a pleasure to come here again if I do! read more
