We were able to book online which was so easy and make the process super quick when we arrived to pick it up. We got a call from Chad who let us know that we were confirmed and when to arrive to grab the unit. When we got there Chad walked us through the entire process and how to set it up once we got to our destination. Everything was great we had a great time it was so spacious and the AC worked great. We slept like bears in the cold! We will be back to grab one of their UTV side by sides next which looked like an absolute blast.

They hooked us up with an RV that had the things we needed along with a generator in case we stayed somewhere with no electricity we traveled to San Diego and up the coast. The RV was clean and stocked with everything we could need. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend you try it. When we returned the RV Chad made it so easy, and helped us get it all checked in! They also rent UTVs and we can't wait to come back and give them a try they were super affordable compared to the Cruise America RV rentals that wanted to charged us triple the cost that Apache Canyon Rentals charged. And the deposit was half the cost and the fees were supper affordable! We love Apache Canyon Rentals!

This resulted in 4 MPG reduction by my truck for the trip, but we SAVED over $2k by not renting a local boat from one of the marinas in Page. This X30 boat is far from new, but it runs very well, starting up perfectly every time. We used it to ski, surf (it has 2 ballasts), wakeboard, and also on a few longer runs to the marina and Rainbow Bridge. Tons of power, booming stereo, room for a few families at once, and a very large 60 gallon tank. Travis was very accommodating with our mid-week pick up and drop-off schedule, handled hitching up the trailer, and provided plenty of extras (ropes, boards, skis, 14 life jackets). I visited his shop and saw all of the other things he rents out - this guy knows his power toys. I will definitely rent from this company again.

For a tour, there wasn't much information provided during the ride, the person in the front was the only one who could hear, and the info provided wasn't all that interesting. There was no wow factor to this trip. Now that I think of it, we didn't even stop at the pretty spots, we stopped under the power lines. Others in the group took pictures and mine weren't very good so there's no need for me to post them...it was pretty though.

Unfortunately, our recent visit was a completely different experience. The facility itself is still nice, but the staff training and overall management have dramatically declined. Many of the lifeguards appeared to be very young and poorly trained. Instead of calmly communicating with families, they were constantly yelling through cones, making it difficult to understand their instructions. Even children who are confident swimmers were being shouted at to either stay directly next to a parent or get out of the water if a parent wasn't within arm's reach. The approach felt more intimidating than educational. The most concerning part was how emergencies were handled. A child got a bloody nose, and several lifeguards immediately rushed over, creating unnecessary chaos. During the commotion, another lifeguard slipped while running. The entire pool was then evacuated for about 15 minutes, guests were pushed away from the area, and the fire department was called. The firefighters ultimately left without providing treatment, making the situation seem far more dramatic than necessary. We were there with a friend who works for the fire department, and even he was surprised by how the situation was handled. When I politely asked a manager what had changed, I was told they were implementing new safety procedures because they had fallen behind other municipal pools. While I fully support strong safety standards, there's a huge difference between being safety-conscious and creating an environment filled with panic, yelling, and confusion. My children have never been so uncomfortable or anxious at a pool. Safety should make families feel more secure, not more frightened. I sincerely hope the staff receive better training on communication, professionalism, and emergency response, because this experience was disappointing compared to what this pool used to be.

We actually had to reschedule due to a dust storm a week before and the staff was very accommodating. There is something to do for everyone here! Surfing, boogie boarding, playing in the water, cliff jumping, and even volleyball. So much fun! The sand and beach chair area is a nice touch to give it that true beach feel. Being a Friday night, it was very busy and tons of teenagers there. The cliff jumping was packed but still very fun! Plenty of space for older and younger kids to all participate together. Lifeguards are always present. At the end of the night they stop surfing and let everyone go the whole way into the wave pool which is a blast! Probably the most fun part. Only giving it a 4 star for a few reasons. Line/wait was very long even with pre-purchased tickets. Everything is very pricey! Lifeguards need microphones or something - yelling basically was pointless. Felt crammed in the seating area and beach part. No outside beverages, water, or food is extreme for families. Overall, it was a very fun night and awesome way to beach the heat! Would come back again for sure!

I have to give them credit--they actually have some pretty cool stuff. I ended up buying a sweat- and water-resistant hat with a shaka patch on it. Needless to say, I left happy before I even hit the water. The surf lagoon is the obvious star of the show. Having waves crash onto a white sandy beach is a pretty awesome experience, especially here in Arizona. There were plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas, and shaded areas, so it never felt like we were fighting for space. The diving pool was another pleasant surprise. There are multiple platforms to jump from, and the lifeguards allow enough freedom to have fun without making the experience feel overly restrictive. If you're feeling adventurous, they also offer body surfing and surf lessons. The amenities were solid as well. The bathrooms were clean, spacious, and had plenty of changing rooms and stalls. Lockers are available to rent, which is a nice convenience if you're bringing the family. We also grabbed food while we were there. No, it isn't five-star dining, but that's not why you're here. More importantly, it was genuinely better than I expected for a water park. What impressed me most was the overall atmosphere. It was energetic without feeling chaotic. My family had an absolute blast, but somehow the park still managed to feel relaxing and comfortable--something I can't say about many water parks. We'll definitely be back.

I wouldn't let your dogs play with any of them unless all shots are up to date. The area is also a run off area for rain water. When that happens the dogs love to go over and swim in it and have fun. Plenty of area here so if your dog is a little more aggressive, or likes to run and greet other dogs you can still be quite a bit of ways off from other dogs. For the most part it stays pretty clean. I wish the grass didn't have so many weeds though.

Horrible awful experience. As soon as we got unloaded in the desert about 20 min in to our ride we heard the belt clinking etc - not driving fast or unruly - we had our 6 year old daughter with us. Shortly after the belt blew smoked us out and left us going no where. Frank had said there was a new belt on the machine before we left and there was a set of tools and a spare belt in case there was any issues. So eventually we find a spare belt, NOT a Polaris belt but an aftermarket belt. Frank had also said there were tools and there were no tools at all for us to change a belt. After he finally came in contact with some friends we had went out with he had a kit he brought personally with him with a couple tools inside we were able to change the belts about 45 minutes later. After Changing the belt to the new belt about five minutes later the second new belt that was put on was blown to shreds. Once again left stranded in the desert not going anywhere for second time. We had already called Frank WC on the first belt went out his concern was that we were just Hood have it back by 6 PM because that specific razor was rented to go right back out when we returned it not once did he offer any help or suggestions or condolences. Just to make sure it was back by six however we had to figure it out. Luckily we had a couple tiedowns so we were able to get towed 10 miles out of the desert back to our trucks this took the half of our day being towed through the dark with children and no supplies. When we returned Franko was very short and very rude he had charged us the thousand dollar deposit for any damages done to the machine however about is minor wear and tear which Frank says it all machines are inspected before they go out. We had pulled up with both the razors we had rented the one that got towed in and the other one still in working condition the one in working condition he told us to park in the parking lot across the street and was immediately put on the back of someone's truck not once inspected nor looked at or maintenanced. Right there shows that not all vehicles are inspected and maintenance after be returned. Four days later and Frank still refuses to cooperate and communicate with us telling it is that a belt is not where in tear about the damage and that belt was brand new when we took it out and now he's telling us that the second secondary clutch needs to be replaced and he doesn't know how much it will be because he has to work up an invoice. Sounds more like a scam by the minute every time we talk to him it's something different we are going to have to try and dispute this through the bank having all of these similar horrible reviews from Frank and chaplain will definitely help. Fraud is illegal and this is exactly what they were doing do not ever rent from this company these are horrible people and a very unprofessional and horrible environment. Frank is a downright jerk. If there was a new belt on this maintenanced razor there would have been no issues. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE! I have paid these guys twice for a rental. The first rental, they called me about an hr prior to my arrival time and said the RZR I rented was down and the person before me returned it non functional! They said "we will give you a great deal if you ever choose to rent from us again". So I was able to find someone on craigslist and rent from them in the nick of time. That time for the "great deal" came around. I wanted to take some of my staff to four peaks. It was a same day rental. I called and spoke to both chaplain and Frank. Their "Great deal" was $275/day and a $1000 deposit!! No place ever has charged me a thousand dollar deposit. The rental date was on a tuesday! Ready to go, I agreed and picked up the rzr. This RZR was the most basic of basic. I rented a much better rzr for much lower (on a weekend) before. No music, No lightbar, No turbo...nothing. I brought my quad out as well and we rode for maybe 3 to 4 hours. I go to start up the RZR to return to them the following day and it wont start. I have a mechanic on my staff for all my vehicles. He diagnosed this with a starter issue. The starter would not engage fully. I called and spoke with frank, he told me that I would have to pay extra if they picked it up. I said, "So if I rent a car from enterprise and it doesnt start, its my obligation to tow it back?" Needless to say, I own a moving company and have multiple enclosed trailers as well as trucks. I had some of my men push it up on to the trailer and I drove it back to them. The next morning, I receive an invoice via email from them for $1500!!! It was sent with some disclaimer stating any damage is my responsibility etc. etc. This RZR had over 3500 miles. Anyone that knows the RZR is that it is an over revved 2 cylinder engine with a life expectancy of 3-5k miles before a rebuild. This was not my fault or responsibility. I received this email 2 weeks ago. I called them and they said "we are taking it in to get looked at, if its not your fault we will refund you...but the guys looking at it have to take apart the engine to determine. It should take 3 days or so and we will let you know." After the call, I thought "why do they have to take apart the engine when the issue is with the starter?". I called back several times, left voicemails. No response. They stole my $1000 CASH deposit (they request in cash). Stay far away! I will be suing for deposit and legal fees and my lawyer not only knows everything about the rzr, hes very expensive. If anyone else has had the same experience please let me know and I will put the money up front to stop these people from stealing your deposit! read more

Was a good experience. Frank was very accommodating on our last minute need for a 4seat machine for Easter Sunday. He delivered it, picked it up, and provided fuel, all at a reasonable price. He was very thorough when doing the pre-trip inspection, which is necessary for any rental company. Renters should also always take care and time to do the pre trip inspection to ensure no surprises, and that they understand the condition of the vehicle. The RZR 1000 turbo ran well. We blew a belt at the end of the day, which we changed ourselves. Frank provides a spare belt and tools with the unit, but we were charged $150 to cover the cost of the belt. I have mixed feelings about that, but had to keep in mind that his rental rate was really fair and he really did go the extra mile for us. As an ATV owner myself I know that belts are expensive and sometimes when you throw yahoos like us behind the wheel of a powerful machine, our testosterone takes over, which adversely affects belt life. Anyways, if Frank treats all his customers as he treated us, he will be in business and prosper for many years. read more

We had an outstanding experience renting 2 RZR's from Octane Trills. We rented a two seat RZR1000 and a four seat RZR 800. James was very good about going over each machine and telling us what to expect. He also sent us a video on how to replace a belt on both machines just in case we had one that broke. But everything ran great and we didn't have to replace any belts. We rented them for two days. But they let us pick them up the night before so we could leave early the next morning. We went to Buttercup with the family and had a great time. Once we returned the RZR's our deposited was refunded just like James had told us at the time of pickup. I would recommend them to all my friends that are looking for a great place to rent from. The next time I'm going to make my reservation early and try out the RZR 1000 turbo four seater. I was very pleased with my rental. I rented to 4 seat RZR 1000 and my 3 sons and took it up to the Payson area. We had a blast! My sons are 10, 8 and 6 and they wanted to ride it all day every we had it. The unit was in good condition, and ran strong. We picked the unit up and James gave us a detailed overview of the contract and the operation of the RZR. Pictures are taken before the rental, so you can see the condition of the unit before and after. If you have any concerns, take your own photos, but I found them to be very fair and understanding upon the return inspection that it is an off road vehicle and that regular wear and tear is expected. As long as you don't abuse the machine they will give your deposit back. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience and will be renting from them again this fall. read more

The Polaris Predator 500 I rented was immaculate!!! When I picked up the machine I could not believe how nice it looked, especially for a rental. But the best part was how it handled when I took it trail riding. The Polaris handled like it was brand new. The people I went riding with were jealous that the rental I had was cleaner and rode better then their personal quads. You can tell Octane Thrills takes care of their equipment and it shows. The guys were very professional and took the time to explain all the paperwork. There are no hidden surprises. Pick up and drop off was easy and hassle free. By far, Octane Thrills was the best place I have rented a quad from. I will be renting from them again soon and hopefully this time it will be there RZR 1000 Turbo. read more

I've read all the previous reviews and I cannot comment on them. I'm a real person who rented a RZR 800S and I had a great experience. I don't work with Octane. I'm not friends with them (I don't even remember who I talked with). In fact, I've never heard of them before I rented from them (found them on Craigslist). I had so much fun I can't believe it. The RZR ran perfect!! I still cannot believe I got it for $120 a day (RZR & trailer included). It was so worth it. And to get the RZR and a trailer was super easy (Paypal). A couple of clicks on my phone and then I was driving to go pick it up. If it's going to be this easy to rent, I have NO DESIRE to buy a RZR. This way is easier & cheaper. read more

BEWARE!! Plan on spending hundreds of dollars MORE than what you're quoted, because you will be blamed and charged for breaking something that someone else broke!! We rented a UTV for the day and had a great time. Prior to returning the vehicle, we thoroughly cleaned them and filled them with gas. When we returned them, Octane accused us of breaking a part on their machine, which we know that we DID NOT break! We did not mistreat the vehicle in any way, though they're supposedly built to withstand extreme circumstances! They ended up charging us almost $300 for the part that DID NOT break under our care! We will not rent from Octane Thrills EVER again!! read more

What a fantastic find! Chaplin and James were so wonderful about keeping in contact, explaining everything and walking us through our first time renting & riding a Razor. Turkey felt informed and prepared when we picked up and James was just fantastic about addressing all of our questions and even letting us borrow a guide book for the trip. We were so very impressed with the entire experience. We had a great experience renting out a Polaris Rzr 1000 ! We are from MA & were looking to enjoy the AZ sunshine with a little adrenaline! Chaplain and James were wicked helpful & gave us all the information we needed to be prepared for the ride. They gave us directions to Sycamore Creek & we had the best time on the trails! TOTAL SCAMMERS!! My family rented some of Octane Thrills vehicles twice, as they apologized for their first "misunderstanding", and talked us into giving them another chance. MISTAKE!! They TRIED to scam us the first time, and the second time they DID!! Octane blamed us for breaking a little clip, that they charged my brother $270 for! The little clip was already broken! I rode in the vehicle the whole time, and never once, did we crash or break anything! I or my family will NEVER do business with these scammers again!! read more

This company is a great company. I have rented from them all throughout riding season and have had nothing but good experiences. I have been renting utv's for a while now and don't believe some of the bad reviews that people may post because its usually always because they broke something/ crashed it or mistreated it in some way shape or form and was charged for repairs. They give you a spare belt just incase you blow a belt while your out in the middle of no where. I would recommend renting from octane thrills. read more

We winter in AZ and have many visitors. I found Octane Thrills on Offer Up. This week, two different couples rented rzrs-a 1000 and a 1000 turbo, both 4 seaters-from Octane Thrills with Chaplin as the representative. The turbo was supposed to be a 2 seater 900, but due to unforeseen circumstances that was not available and the upgrade was an acceptable solution. Both couples were satisfied with the rentals. Called at 0730 to see availability of a RZR 4 1000, Chaplin delivered it to me @ 0930! Ready to go on a trailer. Had the best day with it, my Family, and friends. We played all day and only used 5 gallons of gas! Machine was clean and in good shape. Able to return it at 2100 so we were able to get a full day in. Looking forward to renting in the future. We LOVED our ATV experience with Octane Thrills! Frank and Chaplain delivered the 4 seater RZR to the Saguaro Lake area and they took time to show us the best trails. They were super nice and professional, making sure that our son (with special needs) was set up carefully with a 5-point harness to keep him safe. My son had the time of his life! We had rented one of their 1000cc rzrs and had such a blast and a good experiance with james that we ended up renting their 2 seater 1000cc machine a day later. Cant beat their price and service was excellent as I live a good distance from their pick up and drop off location james was able to help me out and meet me half way. We rented a 4 person RZR. We were able to pick it up the night before so we could get a full day of riding in. The RZR came with a trailer. Since we were from out of town that was great. Octane gave us a great deal. The equipment worked great and they were very honest about everything he promised. The whole process was very easy. I recently rented a ktm 450 and was very pleased with the entire experience. The bike was in great condition and well maintained. Chaplin was very friendly and professional, going above and beyond what was expected. I get not liking to be called early. But if your personal phone is your business phone you Coulda had phone on silent. Coulda asked politely to call back later. About anything but that. Doesn't sound like the guy most like doing business with. Check out Gold Canyon ATV. They were great last year.

I generally wasn't impressed, especially since we were staying in Phoenix and this place was an hour to get there. We walked around after and I believe the place served as an old mining area so they have it staged as so - we walked in and out of the shops checking out all the different knick knacks. For the hour we drove to get to this place, we left after 30 min. If you're looking for a place to generally explore, I think the shops etc are interesting, but I wouldn't come here for a full ziplining experience as that is not what they offer.
