So I came here with my boyfriend to go ziplining and it wasn't what I was expecting lols. When I think ziplining, I'm thinking we are going to go quite the distance and maybe get some sick views of the mountains etc. With this place, they bring you to the very top and then you come down - it feels like you're riding half a rollercoaster. I generally wasn't impressed, especially since we were staying in Phoenix and this place was an hour to get there. We walked around after and I believe the place served as an old mining area so they have it staged as so - we walked in and out of the shops checking out all the different knick knacks. For the hour we drove to get to this place, we left after 30 min. If you're looking for a place to generally explore, I think the shops etc are interesting, but I wouldn't come here for a full ziplining experience as that is not what they offer. read more

Superstition Zipline is located in the Goldfield Ghost Town. The ticket booth and actual ride are located near the Goldfield Ghost Town train station. Parking for all the businesses in the ghost town is free. I purchased a Groupon over a month before we visited, when I was planning our day trip. This was one of our activities after hiking at the nearby Superstition Mountains. Groupon was easy to use. Repeat rides may be purchased directly from the business for only $7 per rider. (Price as of March 2024.) Zipline is two seats next to each other. Riders are slowly backed up to the starting point. Being backed up slowly really allows one to take in the view. Riders then zip back down to the starting point. Pictures from your ride may be purchased at the ticket booth. Several different shots are taken during the ride. read more

We stumbled upon Superstition Zipline as we were driving from Sedona. Todd was extremely kind and welcoming and he made sure we had an enjoyable experience. He shared some history and added some extra thrills to make the ride more interesting. Highly recommended!!! read more

Todd the owner is beautiful in personality and conversation, love his flags. We love the invention and the creation, it's just hokey and cute. I need to have more room on my camera next time to take a video and pictures because the view is incredible. Loved this hard working owner, giving people a little happiness one Zip at a time. The funnest time !! OMG we had so much fun and my 85 year old mom rode as well. This was my first time riding a Zipline and I was nervous but the staff was extremely friendly and put my nerves to ease. The owner was there and extremely nice and the rates were very affordable. Still can't believe my 85 year old mom rode but she had so much fun and would love to do again .. A must do with our at this darling little Old West Area we had a blast and can't wait to do again !!! read more

Want the best aerial photo of Superstitious Mountain and Goldfield Ghost Town? Ride the Superstitious Zipline. It is best described as a cable car that moves fast enough for "whoo" and slow enough to take photos or a videos. It's a cool feature at this Ghosttown experience. Not scary and all appropriate for all ages. You have to get yourself seated in the cable seat in case you have limitations. If the day you arrive it's a one-man show, be patient. There is only one zip which is $12 and you can ride multiple times for $6 but not all at the same time. There is also a photo op you can purchase so smile. read more

Such a fun family experience!! Same zip line that's on top of the Rio in Las Vegas but half the price!! Loved getting the photos after too and our attendant was super warm and cued music perfectly to enhance our riding experience. If you go to the Goldtown Ghosttown be sure to visit this attraction and tip the man running it, he's kind and works hard to make it a great family experience. Thank you! read more

This particular zip-line is fantastic due to the two seats, which is so much easier to ride and enjoy for those of us with back/neck issues. Todd was very sweet and accommodating - we rode the zip line 5 times! He certainly made it a lot of fun, and so memorable. Can't wait to go back and do it again the next time we visit the area. read more

We went to the Lost Dutchman's Goldmine and there is a zip lining attraction on the property. I was all set for a serious zip but it was more like a ski lift ride. However the depth of the seat was a little shallow for my comfort. Me and my travel buddy have junk in the trunks. The ride pulls you up backwards and you feel like you are sliding out of the seat. Once you reach the top they shoot you down with some speed. Once was enough for both of us but glad we did it! read more

So we drove all the way there and paid to do the zip line that was not even a min long.. I'm seriously not kidding you. They buckle you in and then you go backwards maybe 50 feet or so and then you come storming right back, it took longer to buckle us in then the entire ride. All the research that I watched said you go through some ghost town and got to see stuff... nope lies, we walked around the area and looked in the shops but everything was pretty expensive. Waste of gas and time. Especially the so call falsely advertised zipline read more

Ride: The name is pretty misleading--this isn't your typical zipline. You sit in a two-person, ski lift-like structure. There is a motor that propels you up super high, where you hang for about 30 seconds and then you drop back down. The whole thing took about 2 minutes--even with the Groupon (2 for $19 instead of 2 for $24), it's not a great bang-for-your-buck. The views were pretty spectacular up top though, so the price would probably be worth it if you're not a big hiker, if you don't have much time, or if you have young kids and still wanted to get a good view. Also, the lift played music, which made the whole ride pretty hilarious in my opinion. Location: The zipline is right next to a ghost town, which is on the way to Canyon Lake from the Valley. The ghost town is a bit of a tourist trap, but fun to walk around for a short while. When I came for the zipline, I made a dedicated trip for it; the 45 minute drive each way for a 2 minute ride would not have been worth it if I didn't have such good company. I would suggest that if you wanted to check out the zipline, to make a day of it! Head to Canyon Lake, paddle or walk around (there are some nice easy trails, and also a restaurant with a FANTASTIC view), and then on your way back to the Valley, stop by the ghost town and do the zipline. read more

We love Todd at superstition zip-line! I have taken my kids like 5 times now and I feel very safe a we have a blast. They do a great job making sure you are belted in properly and they have 100% professionalism in their work. The view is AMAZING, you can see the best view of the superstition mountains while you scream all the way down! Todd picks the perfect song for each person! 10/10 i recommend you go and visit goldfield ghost town when your done! read more

My family and I visit the Ghost Town regularly and it has become a family tradition to ride the Superstition Zipline every time we are there. This zip line was so fun! I took my grandkids to the Ghost Town and they begged me to let them do the zip line. I was hesitant at first, but the nice young man working assured me that it was totally safe. My grandkids loved it so much that I let them go again, which luckily was only half the price for a second ride! Will definitely be coming back next time the kids are in town. read more

I Purchased a Groupon for the zip line after having come here about a year ago and really enjoying entire day exploring this part of history in Arizona... Little did I know, there was a hidden gem within this old mining town which has history, ghost stories, delicious food, and just the perfect little day date. But, the best part was going on the zip line that takes you up about 150 feet so you get to see the superstition Mountains, the entire town, views for miles and it's not one of those zip lines that ties you in with the straps but more like a ski lift where you sit.. it is $12 a ride per person, if you want to go back up it's half the price and they do offer during the day as well as sunset rides... Todd, the owner/manager was as kind as can be and we had so much fun, I would truly recommend this activity to anyone before you go and explore the town, it's too fun and the views are beautiful! read more

Wandering around the ghost town full of [sedate] family adventures as two 30-somethings was only mildly interesting, but we noticed people way up high on this zipline and saw an opportunity for legit fun. It is a very short ride (one zip out and one zip back) but also inexpensive ($12 per person). It seats two people, offers neat views of the beautiful desert, and can be quite scary at the end! You can stay on and do it one more time for half price. So $18 per adult for two rides is great. I recommend it. The operator wanted to make sure we had fun. This isn't something you would drive super far for unless you were planning to enjoy the rest of the ghost town too... but this is a must-do if you go to the town! read more

Fun for kids not for adults. Little bit of a tourist travel grade for first timers in Arizona if you wanna real thrill a ride go to the Arizona State fair. Mine tour makes it worth it so please get the package deal do that with the train, ghost and the package deal. read more

My wife and I rode the Superstition Zipline located at the Goldfield ghost town yesterday and it was so much fun we did it twice! The ride starts off at ground level and then the cable whisks you off backwards at over 25 miles per hour to the top of a distant tower. You sit up there for about 30 seconds getting to enjoy the desert scenery and a birdseye view of Goldfield before the thrilling ride back down starts speeding over 30 miles per hour to ground level! The mechanism to stop the ride results in a swinging motion....nothing jerky or abrupt. We had a great time and we are in our 60s. We watched kids and adults alike enjoy the ride. The zipline operator, Todd, is very friendly and definitely safety conscious. read more

Found the superstition zipline on Groupon 2 riders for $19. I couldn't get the Groupon to load so I needed to buy more tickets, but the guy honored the Groupon price and also let our 5 year old daughter and 12 year old son ride a second time for $6 a piece. The kids loved it! Of coarse the Groupon loads after we leave, but it's ok we are going back to do a couple attractions we missed and let the kids go a few more times on the zipline read more

Special thanks to Channel 5 news for doing 20 cities in 20 days. Yesterday was mother-daughter date day and I got my mom to go on the Superstition Zipline we had a total blast! I think it's the perfect height and speed & it has a rather quick ending so it's good for a quick scare... My mom is in her seventies and I am afraid of heights, lol Absolutely an attraction worth visiting when visiting the Goldfield Ghost Town The guy running things is super cool and is willing to honor the Groupon price without the Groupon, winning all the way around. read more

This is a good place to spend the afternoon with the family and see a few cool things. The Zipline ride is short but a breathtaking view Superstition Mt. as you get to the top before they release the Zipline. The mystery house is very cool especially for young kids, all in all we spent a relaxed afternoon with the family. The only thing is it can get expensive for a fam of 4. As all attractions are paid for individually. No main cover charge and it all adds up. They do have a combo pass at $18 per person but that only covers the 3 main attractions. Parking is free. I gave it 3 stars just because of the cost. read more

Bought a pound of copper from the museum for $50. Apparently everything in the museum was tax free. Looked like they charge $1.50 for credit card, which was not mentioned nor were there obvious signs about the credit card usage fee. Admission to the cost $10 for 13 and up, $8 for 65 and up, $5 for 8 to 12, and free for those under 8. Really fun town to spend an hour or two. Lots of things to do for all ages. It was extremely hot outside too. We chose the 1 hour ride (just to play it safe), and we were blessed with an old cowboy named "Fast Eddie" as our driver and guide. Without exaggeration, we fell in love with Eddie in about one minute. The trail was awesome, but Eddie was better. The man was absolutely packed full of information and knowledge. We're from Northwest Pennsylvania and had a million questions. Eddie answered ALL of our questions, and incorporated them into his standard presentation. He was especially good with our 6yr. old, and kept everything extremely interesting. Eddie explained wildlife, rocks, views of the mountains, weather, etc, etc, etc..... WE COULDN'T GET ENOUGH OF HIM!!!!!!!! Eddie stopped at several predetermined locations for beautiful views and photo opportunities, but he would also stop anytime we asked him to. We could see that he was one with nature, and that he absolutely loved all the plants and wildlife around him. It was so awesome!!!!!!! I don't know much about the company, we enjoyed our tour and our tour guide more than I can really express on here. Eddie was a great representative of the state of Arizona, as well as Apache Trail Tours. The man was like a historian, college professor, kindergarten teacher, comedian, rancher, cowboy, bullrider, park ranger and old friend all at once. Truly remarkable!

The rooms are hard to complete (at least for us lol) and some of the rooms required more physical ability. There are employees there to help you as requested, which helps if you get stuck on what you're supposed to do. The rooms are well put together, theme-wise, which adds to the experience of the challenges. There were a lot of people there, which meant a long waiting time. I feel as though we did more waiting than we did inside the rooms. Although, it didn't help that several rooms broke or weren't functioning correctly throughout the night. There's also a bar in the back where you can grab drinks and food, if you so choose. I would recommend waiting until after the experience since you have a 2 hour time limit. Overall, Bam Kazam is a unique activity to get a group of friends or family together for a night of fun and challenges! I would definitely go back again, but perhaps on a weekday or a time that would be less busy.

We pull into the park around that magical time you know, that in-between hour... not quite day, not quite night... like God dimmed the lights and said, "Alright boys, let's see what happens." The whole place is glowing neon lights, arcade buzz, roller coasters rattling in the distance. Felt like walking into a carnival dream... or maybe a fever dream. Jury's still out. Now here's the thing about this place it's been around since the late '70s, sitting right there in Phoenix like a desert time capsule of fun. You got four roller coasters, including the Desert Storm, which sounds fun until you're on it reconsidering every life choice that led you there. Then there's the Patriot wooden, loud, and about as gentle as a bar fight. And somehow... SOMEHOW... we thought tequila beforehand was a good idea. Lockers are available to rent, which is a nice convenience if you're bringing the family. We also grabbed food while we were there. No, it isn't five-star dining, but that's not why you're here. First two times I arrived all 3 were blocked off for various other rec things. I go in today and one court is blocked off for PICKLEBALL. YES, they have an empty Pickleball court and lifted the hoops even though there's 30 pickleball courts outside. The 2nd court had 5 year old kids training with coaches. The 3rd court has Seniors fitness day even though we have multiple patios, an upstairs section, an actual gym that hardly gets used and an outdoor pool area. What's the point in 3 courts if they are the least allowed to be used? Their first gym floor was improperly installed and they just had the entire gym closed for about 6 weeks. I was excited to come back and play on better floors. I get there and the SAME EXACT floors were installed... the wrong floor type and the panels were installed in the wrong orientation AGAIN! lady at the front desk even mentioned it to me. They never put a clear coat over the top of the floor and they used basic sticker tape on top of the floors to create their basketball outline again. You can use your fingernails and feel the lifted exposed tape. THIS IS GOING TO CAUSE ANKLE INJURIES IN THE FUTURE!!! You cannot have exposed, lift tape as people are sliding and stopping on them. I dove for a ball on day 1 and ripped a 6 inch hole on my hip because the floor is like concrete with no surface coating that allows forgiveness. Absolutely disappointing week 1. I go to the gym. It's low energy and the music is sooo low you can't even hear the lyrics. PUMP IT UP!!! Feels like a quiet retirement center at the moment. I'm going to consider ending my membership after the first month if they keep blocking off the courts. I will adjust my rating if they continue to make this place better. I am not a complainer but when you install the wrong floors twice and make it unplayable... you're going to lose the basketball community. (Fingers crossed) EDIT: Soooooo. I jumped through their hoops and scheduled time off to fit into their slim schedule to make their Open Gym on Wednesday night. I walk in and one court has half the court blocked off with an empty PICKLEBALL court AGAIN!!!! The other court was blocked off with some skills challenge. THEY BLOCKED OFF TWO COURTS TO PUT TWO RANDOM GAMES THAT WAS NOT BEING USED INSTEAD OF PUTTING THE SKILLS CHALLENGE AND THE PICKBALL COURT ON THE SAME COURT TO FREE UP AN ENTIRE BASKETBALL COURT!!!! How incompetent can management be???!!! It doesn't matter how beautiful the facility is if there's no common sense to what your community wants. We had 14 of us asking them to move the skills challenge to the basketball/pickleball court so we can play. Nope... we all have to sit there and follow bad rules and watch two half courts not being used. These tactics is EXACTLY why Legacy Sports Complex down the street wasn't successful. Another beautiful facility ran by incompetent middle management people who have zero clue about sports. I don't like speaking about people like this. But they're deserving to be scolded after non stop negligence. People on FB were complaining too and their friends didn't come out after they found out we couldn't play AGAIN! Absolutely wild. It's been one week and I'm already debating on canceling. How much money is this facility loosing in opportunity costs because of this? Lowed my rating another star again. I will raise my star rating if someone improves the common sense at this place.

My fiancé reached out on Tuesday via text to both Mike and Shannon to set up a ride for the upcoming Saturday (my birthday). Didn't hear back so he called Mike on Wednesday. I texted Mike and Shannon myself on Thursday knowing it was a shot in the dark. We figured they were busy and surely someone would get back to us before the weekend, but we were wrong. I really wanted to go for a ride and had Monday off too, so I followed up on Saturday morning and finally got a response. After some back-and-forth over the weekend we finally got a ride set up for Monday, only for the ride to be canceled the night before due to some emergency on their end. While Mike was very nice on the texts exchanged (thus the 2 stars instead of 1), the amount of communication attempts necessary to get a response was really frustrating. If customers feel like they have to hound you to get your business, they're certainly not going to try again a second time much less recommend you to anyone else.

Everyone we met at Don Donnelly were friendly and accommodating as I needed a mounting block and a little support to get on the horse. Shelly was very sweet and the place felt relaxed and fun (instead of the unfriendly people at the other place). My grandson and I were supposed to have to wait an hour for our ride but when we got there she'd arranged for a wrangler to take us right away. Our wrangler, Lexi, was so friendly and nice and very accommodating. We had one of the most beautiful rides we've ever been on with nice, well trained horses. When we got back, Lexi said that it's often harder for us grandmas with hip problems to get off the horse than on and assured me that I'd have help. I got off the horse with help and even had a man pleasantly and kindly help me down the steps. As bad as our experience at the other place was, this place was 1000 times better, not just because they had mounting blocks to help get on the horse, but because they understood that this is supposed to be a pleasant experience.
