I feel like those that donate more should get more. Say you have everyone working on an assembly line for the same flat rate. And then you noticed there are three people that are stockier and can get more work done. If you are going to demand more from them, than wouldn't you give them more pay as well? Same concept. Platelets take about 3hrs, and they have (4) beds which depending upon the day of the week, are sometimes full. It is important to make an appointment, and if you are unable to make your appointment free up that slot by contacting them and cancel or switch to another time you can make it.
