The administration of this clinic leaves a lot to be desired. Screwed up appointments, not being…read moretold I need lab work before my appointment, and just having a long-awaited appointment cancelled because the doctor decided to take a break were all things I dealt with. The last straw was this week. I called on Monday to make an appointment and after giving my id information was told that I had been dropped as a patient with the doctor since I hadn't had an appointment for 2+ years. (Is it my fault that I'm healthy?) And then I was told I couldn't sign back up with the same doctor since he was no longer taking patients. So, that's enough of this stupid crap with Valdosta Medical Clinic. I found a different health care provider. If you enjoy dealing with staff incompetence, Valdosta Medical Clinic is the place for your health care needs. If you want less drama in your life, find a different healthcare provider.

This has been ongoing for at least three months now. The woman at the desk said the fax machines have been broken, but I think it's a scam to get patients to pay for medical records out of pocket. I was charged 43.65 to get my records. My spouse has been trying to get his records for 3 months now. I called today to have them printed and picked up so he can go to a new NP and doctor. This was even a problem for this medical clinic. I did not think we should have to pay for medical records because you don't have a fax machine that is working, so Sandra claims. I am glad I found a new Doctor right away, and I never have to deal with this type of medical staff personnel again. I hope this will be over this week, in getting my husband's medical records.

I had some labs that were ordered by my doctor and this was one of the locations the work order was sent to. I called the hospital early Monday morning to make sure that they had my orders. I was transferred to lab department and the person I talked to verified and stated that they had received my orders, I was able to come in and get them completed today, but the lab closes at 12 noon. I drove over an hour to get them done and when I arrived (a little after 11) the front desk employee states they were closed, I explained to her what I had been told over phone, she wasn't empathetic at all and provided a dry in genuine apology with I don't know who could have told you that. Btw I needed to have labs completed 3 days before my appointment which was on Thursday.

We lost our father yesterday. For the last 7 days we had a rotating door of doctors who seemed…read moreunfamiliar with his conditions. We were given hope in the morning, only to have someone in the evening pull it away. For seven days we rode this exhausting rollercoaster until he finally let go. The staff were incompetent and unprofessional, laughing and giggling while on their phones right outside the room our father was clinging to life in. Communication between patient and family was non-existent. I even had a nurse respond to my questions by saying "we aren't God. We don't know." No, you aren't but any form of information about his progression would have helped tremendously. My mother has been dealing with this level of absolute ineptitude of the medical staff at this hospital since 2019 when his conditions started to first take shape and only got worse. I wouldn't recommend this hospital if you had a stuffy nose and I absolutely pray that no one else loses a loved one in this manner. It was such a cruel week for all of us.

I went in today not one seat available in a waiting room of 30 or more chairs. Now that people are traveling from Quitman and neighboring cities for the service. They are impacting the quality themselves. The office has had to request more information on coverage. That tells me a large majority of people paying them a visit are not adequately covered which may be the reason why they are willing to travel so far. The practice was fine before all of the surrounding cities started to descend on it.
