Pretty far into the movie I saw someone coming into the movie theater that we were in and that person was just standing there looking at everyone that was watching the movie. This of course startled me a bit because a lot of active shootings have gone on. It has been a very hard time for all of us I believe. I kept an eye on this person not knowing what was going to happen. This person in fact was a employee of this movie theater and I later found of her name is Michelle. She walked to the side front of the theater in front of the screen and stated to yell and scream for who ever has their feet on the seats to take them off unless they want to clean her seats and anyone on their cell phones shouldnt be on them at all. Look I understand that but she should of confronted those people and or teenager's in a professional manner that would not startle and be disruptive to others that are trying to relax on a Friday night. Not have a employee of the theater think it is okay to disrupt customers and scare them. My children told me that they thought she was someone who was going to hurt us. Do you know how horrible that is? After the movie my husband and I did ask to speak with this women and anot her employee went to get her. We confronted her and she only would tell us her first name. She tried to apologize but we could not accept that because that was not what we paid for! She was a very cold person she should be ashamed of herself! I would like corporate to reach out to me. This needs to be taken care of. I believe it is reasonable to say that that is not professional behavior that is not at all how you run a business. A police officer was there and did witness us confronting her and making our complaint. We did not pay for Michelle to come in the middle of our movie and start to yell and scream at us! My family and I originally were going to go to the movie theaters in Sherman , but I said why not go here in town. I really ate my words tonight on that one! Horrible customer service! Couldn't even watch and movie with out a employee yelling and screaming at us! Even if it is the only movie theater in town I will not recommend this establishment to anyone I know. You should be ashamed of yourself to run a business like that!

They have a very small video game arcade, clean restrooms, and they also have the typical concession stand fare that you find at all the other movie theaters. The ticket prices are very reasonable too. Being that it's in a small town, sometimes they don't show the current releases as they come out. You might find a two-week delay in the opening of a new release. By then you will have probably driven to Sherman to see that new movie there. Overall though, it's a pleasant experience. Did I mention how comfortable the seating is? :) My wife and I give Majestic 6 theater a thumbs up. Check it out.

I think I watched a movie with a soda and popcorn just over $5 - they have a special that is really cheap for drink and popcorn. Drinks are $2.50-3.75; popcorn $2.50-.4.25; a movie meal is $3.50. The theater is old so the seats tend to recline whether you want to or not. No stadium seating here and the room I was in was small for todays standards. However, it is very clean the best I could see. I went to a matinee and it wasn't overrun with inconsiderate moviegoers texting and such. Signs indicate they will allow you to take food in from the food court.

The people running the concessions were very nice and attentive. The seats are comfy and recline. The weird part to me is that the seats make noise when you recline which I wouldn't' think you'd want in a movie theatre. Throughout the movie, you'd hear people adjusting their seats every now and then.

The very young employees working to let people in didn't even scan our tickets, which was not an issue, but it could prove to be a problem for the theater if they don't have someone watching this a bit more closely. The preview/ ads before the movie were a full 30 minutes, which I found a bit excessive. I know all theaters have quite a few previews and wonder how much this varies. Reclining seats were comfortable, volume was appropriate, and temperature was nice without being arctic, as some theaters could be. What I didn't love was a $2 booking fee for buying your ticket online (per ticket) with a push to join a Cinemark monthly membership club to waive this fee. Seeing a movie in theaters is already quite expensive these days, so I didn't love the additional 17% fee on matinee ticket just for it to be purchased online. At the end of the day it's of course worth it to not be in the front row or far edge, but just tricky how most everything these days incurs hidden fees that can add up when trying to do family / group activities. Overall, the quality of this theater is still strong with some minor qualms likely characteristic of the industry.

I apologize for not getting her name... maybe Caitlyn? She also wanted to help my situation and got the GM who was there. They all took the time to listen to me, offer a solution and reassure me that a refund would work out. These girls are an asset to this company. Later we interacted with Brennan again getting snacks and drinks for the movie and she continued to provide amazing customer service. I saw every movie I saw as a kid at this theater. Bambi, The Godfather (my first R rated film), Bonnie and Clyde, all the John Wayne movies. So when my sister told me they were showing RHPS, I was there. The theater looks remarkably similar to my memories. They guys who have reopened it have painstakingly restored it and there great work shows. Had a great time and look forward to more.

Upon entering the 2nd floor was a concession stand, colored brightly like Miami Vice era.. we were greeted by an attendant before walking the hallway to the theater rooms. The seating was roomy and very comfortable the armrest/drink holders were large enough for your items. The screen was clean and very clear. The sound was impressive because, I coukd hear every little note n noise in the movie. Or maybe I was just into watching Michael. We had snack sized butter popcorn n water for snack. Saving our appetite and calories for dinner.
