Dentist does cursory look at teeth and recommends several thousands of dollars (or more) of dental surgery when one has no symptoms. Then they cannot provided needed, beneficial preventive cleanings for 6 months. Buyer beware. This practice is focused on doing more procedures which reimburse them better than prevention. It is a common theme from prior reviews which I wish I had read. Not being able to provide routine cleanings is NOT best practice!

I love that they take blood pressure because, for some, access to that simple screening wouldn't happen anywhere else. Staff are warm and friendly, the space is sunny and clean with free WiFi! (Bonus). Get there early and take the super comfy chair in the sunny corner where you can watch the world go by or endlessly scroll on your phone thanks to the high speed connection. The dentist and hygienist will always explain everything to you. You won't have any unnecessary procedures, and you'll walk away with oral health swag every time. I recently shared with the dentist that my confidence in my smile has increased a million fold since they fixed a chip in my front tooth. She was so moved to hear it. Very easy to have opportunity to share my experience with this dental office!!! From the first visit until one last week, I have not had a 'bad' experience. Told Dr Martin and staff that I 'enjoy' caring for my teeth with their help, and it has always been excellent. Sometimes get appointments through cancellations, or as soon as they can work me in. Added my experience is that of my wife. She does not find it easy to go to dentist, never will enjoy it. Has MaineCare. She has been going for about 2+ years now, and they have cared for her very well, even with some extra challenges with painless dental options. Office staff has always taken care of existing appointments, future appointments in a timely way, and cost is always known upfront.
