Looking for something a little different while in Málaga? Why not try some Georgian food? No, not food from the land of Atlanta and the southern drawl, but rather, from the country in the Caucasus whose capital is Tblisi.
We found this little place way often the beaten path. We had a very large group (9 of us), and they were able to book a table for us. We had several dishes we shared across the table, including their Khinkali, a kind of pork dumpling that was really juicy (inside) and tasty, and ample amounts of their Khachapuri, kind of like a thick pizza with plenty of cheese (and lamb, if requested). It was all quite good, including the Georgian wine.
Note: they only speak Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian here. So, if you only speak English and want to ask about the food, you'll have a hard time (pointing only gets you so far). Also, the owners are Ukrainian, which I found odd for a *Georgian* restaurant. Still, worth a visit if you're in the area. read more
