The "Gold Digga" is one of OEB's famous breakfast poutines made with herb seasoned potatoes fried in duck fat and cheese curds sourced from the Quebec village of Saint Cyrille. In addition to these classic poutine ingredients, it is served with Berkshire roast pork and two perfectly poached eggs. Topping this heavenly combination are the perfectly paired flavours of black truffles and brown butter hollandaise. The bowl has a very colorful appearance and was plated with greens and edible flowers as garnishing- the palate of hollandaise, red seasonings, orange pork and brown wedge fries made me want to just "Gold Digga" in. The hand-cut wedge fries are perfectly fried with a crunchy exterior that becomes delightfully soft when soaked in yolk. While the dish combines many delicious flavours it is the truffles that steal the show. Their distinct taste compliments the richness of the Hollandaise and elevates the meal to another level. Oh Em Gee at OEB in Saskatoon! Excellent customer service from the front end .... Thank you for accommodating us even though your waitlist was long (given it was a weekend brunch). And that was just the start of what was an amazing brunch. I ordered the lobster and shrimp crepe...it was excellent and I'd have to say my favourite breakfast of all time. And I'm a breakfast foodie!! We had one of our group order an lunch offering and another order one of the scramblettes (it came with a generous fruit garnish). All of us raved about our meals. I'd highly recommend OEB if you want an inventive breakfast, brunch or lunch: overall it was a fantastic meal from the customer service, the taste/food perspective and the overall dining experience. We were staying at the Alt hotel over Christmas and noticed they were open on Boxing Day. I ordered online and walked over. I was greeted immediately and my food was ready. The food was absolutely delicious and the smoothies were perfect. The only thing I wanted to make note of was the ordering process. Once I placed the order online I was sent an email to track my order with 4 steps, Order Placed, Order Accepted, Order Ready, Order Complete. At no time did the tracking update to "order ready" so I finally walked over and when I arrived it was sitting up at the bar counter and I was told it was there for a while. I walked back to the hotel, ate and went on with my morning and I thought I'd check the tracking and it still showed that the order wasn't ready. That needs to be looked into. read more

Had the Traditional Eggs Benedict. It was the best eggs Benedict I've ever had! Served on a croissant and the rosemary ham was incredible! Service was amazing. Called ahead to see if I needed to make a reservation and the gentleman advised that they didn't take reservations on weekends or holidays and the wait was about an hour an a half but he could put my name on the wait list and we could show up in about a little over an hour to see if our table would be ready. I really appreciated this, great experience from the very first call to the end of our dining experience. Were greeted upon arriving and thanked for coming in as we left after. Having been to other OEB's across western Canada we were excited to have one open in our home time. Having visited the OEB in Saskatoon this morning it was very disappointing. We always order the same breakfast poutine and it was nothing short or salty, literally. The salt shaker must of fell in the potatoes and sauce. We got medium poached eggs and they were very much well done. It was also barely warm. I understand it's a new location but you would expect the same taste being as it's a franchise. On the other hand the staff were great. We won't be returning to this location anytime soon. read more

Been going to OEB for years and love the food. Very high end fare, with the same standards every time. The wait staff are always young, smart and quick on the uptake. And, when not too busy, very capable at holding their own in spirited conversation. A real delight. Over the years the quality of the Maitre'd has varied widely. Most get it exactly right but recently not so much. More charm and less scolding would certainly help. All in all, a great place to meet up with friends for breakfast. A solid 4.5 stars. I love love love brunch and OEB has nailed it each time I've been. I shared the mimosa flight with my partner and we both agreed our favourite was the grapefruit and the pineapple! Then I had the Chasing Chickens breakfast poutine and it was delicious, no words can describe how much I love the breakfast poutines here! My partner had the notorious B.I.T and he was extremely impressed with how perfectly it was seasoned. Love the waitlist function that way I can sleep a bit more before I get ready and head to the restaurant! 10/10 recommend! read more

If I could give 6 stars I would, super friendly and welcoming staff, amazing summer drink options ( I got my spritz out in Georgia is a personal favourite ). I had the gold digger breakfast poutine with added bacon and Its genuinely the best thing I've ever tasted in my life, the crips on the potatoes was perfect and the house hollendaise sauce seems to melt In your mouth. The pork bites in the poutine are perfectly tender and packed with flavour. 20/10 recommend this place and will absolutely be coming back! read more

Always an excellent experience. I have often gone for lunch and I'm always impressed , the menu items are fresh, the staff goes above and beyond (they're super accommodating and pleasant), and the atmosphere and view of Victoria Bridge and River Landing just add to the positivity. Coffee is perfect and all items I've had from the menu leave me wanting to return for more. They also have a childrens menu with great options for a kid palette as well. After a 2 hour wait on a Saturday morning I can say that it was well worth it. I'm sure once full capacity opens up and the novelty Of a new place wears off the wait won't be as long. My wife and I sat down and had a fantastic breakfast. She had the Florentine eggs Benedict which were absolutely delicious and I had the soul in a bowl poutine, also very delicious! Four of us enjoyed brunch at OEB - River Landing this morning! The staff are friendly and very attentive and it is such a bright and clean location. I ordered the Canadian Eh benny and was not disappointed! Hollandaise sauce was so tasty and the fries crisp and flavourful. I went here for Father's Day with my Dad and Boyfriend, I got the soul in a bowl and omg that was the best eggs Benedict I've ever had and just such a yummy filling brunch bowl! My boyfriend and dad were very impressed with there's at all! The waitress we had was very helpful and sweet! Went with my family during the summer. It was insanely busy but even with that our service was quick and friendly. All of the food was really good and portions were great. My husband had the mimosa flight and loved the different options! My only complaint would be with the yelp app not notifying us to add ourselves to the wait list so it appeared on the app there was no wait but we had to wait about 40 minutes once we arrived. read more

Breakfast was great. My hubby ordered the new menu item of nioci carbarnara and I had an omlette. We had mimosas, coffee and hot chocolate. It was very nice to see people and even visited with the table of nice people next to us. Waiting times are reasonable, but it's what happens at a popular place like this. This is now my favourite brunch spot in Saskatoon. I have been multiple times and the staff is always extremely friendly and accommodating. I always want to venture out and order something new, but then I look at the Soul in a Bowl and I can't stray. It's such a fantastic bowl of goodness. Great place for breakfast if you're all right spending a little extra. The food is absolutely delicious and are big portions. The service is always friendly and bubbly, so it's great start to the day! The lattes are also very tasty.
