She went to redeem it last week, only to be told they would not honor it because the actual gift card was apparently not inside the envelope we were given at the time of purchase. Tina looked up the purchase on her computer and confirmed that the gift certificate had been purchased, had never been redeemed, and that the receipt clearly showed the purchase date, the $200 amount, and the gift card number that we believe was never provided to us. Despite having all of this documentation proving the gift certificate was legitimately purchased and had never been used, she refused to honor it. I tried to reason with her, explaining that their own records proved the gift certificate was valid and unused, but she would not budge. Good customer service means working with customers to resolve situations like this, especially when your own records support their claim. Instead, we were simply turned away. To make matters worse, the facility itself did not appear to be very clean, which is always a red flag for a massage spa. We will never return, and I certainly cannot recommend this business to anyone else. Losing a customer over a situation that could have been resolved so easily is unfortunate and completely avoidable.

When you're dealing with inflamation and pain and you need a skilled massage therapist, having somebody brush you aside like that is off-putting. I played by her rules for a couple of weeks and it became clear to me that she has no inclination to take on new clients. Waiting a few days or even maybe a week I get, but multiple weeks or even a month? And you have to kept texting her? A worthwhile practitioner would say something like "I'm not taking on new clients right now, however I have a waitlist and I'll call you if I get an opening". Honesty goes a long way and feeling like you're being played and just being put on the back shelf in case she has a space to fill her calendar, is ridiculous. She may be a great practitioner but the arrogance and dismissiveness that she shows for people negates that. It's a pretty surprising attitude to get from a massage therapist. I, like many of her clients, have had great massages all over the place and blah blah blah. We've all had good massage therapists. Ariana is not the only one out there. Maybe in this area sadly, but certainly not the only one that's talented. Two thumbs down.

The "gym", where they do all the physical and occupational therapy is huge. They have so many people in there at one time yet it is very organized. They had tables with groups doing critical thinking activities. Groups doing physical exercises and also lots of one on one physical therapy. Again, I was impressed with the level of patience and kindness these therapists showed their patients. The doctors and nurses were so patient explaining the diagnosis, prognosis and plan to rehabilitate. I've heard horror stories about rehab centers and I personally have dreaded ever having to go. After seeing how my mother, and all the other patients, were treated I would recommend this place to everyone. Bottom Line: Encompass does a great job of rehabilitation in a pleasant environment.

My wife and I live in California, so we can't visit him in Florida that often, but we did visit for a few days in June, 2024. What a difference! We walked in one day just after his physical therapy session ended; he was walking back to his room with the therapist by his side, not in his wheelchair! That never happened before. This alone would rate five stars, all gold, but there is more. During our visit we interacted with many people: the nurses, the therapists, the community engagement director, the records office, the business office, even the dining hall staff. Everyone was friendly and professional. Residents coming and going were greeted by name. The buildings were clean and well maintained. The food was good; I ordered the same thing that my brother had when we ate together in the dining room. The affiliated home healthcare and pharmacy services are excellent; I continue to interact with them. However, there is even more to the story. My brother was in such bad shape when he first came to Lynmoore that, during our June visit, a couple of staff members admitted to me that they didn't think he would last in assisted living; he was that bad off. I truly believe he was admitted and flourished because the Wellness Director believed in him, motivated him from the very beginning, and everyone took good care of him around the clock.

This place is horrible. The staff in the memory care unit have such attitudes when you ask them questions about your loved ones. They need to work on communication with family members and show the family members a little respect because it's the family members that are making their paychecks possible!!! At one point, when I went to take my family member out for the day, a resident from the memory care unit snuck out behind me and the staff member was pulling the resident's arm to get her back into the unit! The resident was screaming and I had to step in and handle the situation! Residents should be handled with love, respect and dignity and not pulled at like animals!! The other issue is with the billing department! They slip extra change onto the bill! They debited my bank account with one amount and then the bill reflects that I didn't pay them the amount they debited out of my account but instead they tell me that I'm wrong and I'm the idiot that doesn't know how to read a bill. They nickel and dime you to death, so pay close attention to your bill!! I have asked them numerous times to give me a call and sit down with them so I can explain my issue and no one calls me and no one wants to hear what I'm trying to explain to them, but they do keep debiting my account to get their money! When an issue arises and you try to call the department heads, no one returns your phone calls. When you get tired of dealing with a lack of communication from the facility itself and you try to call the corporate office, they also let you fall through the cracks and do not return calls either. This place really needs to be turned into the state of Florida regarding their care for patients and their lack of attentiveness to family members and their constant over billing and refusal to correct it. There are so many other issues with this place as well. They overdosed my sister and didn't know how to care for her. They had the tenacity to ask me what they wanted them to do. I told them to send her to the hospital. They have no protocols in place if there is something detrimental happening to your loved one. The staff seem to go into blame mode instead of focusing on the patient in need!! I took down my original post that actually detailed what happened to her because I promised the executive Director of the Wickshire that I would take it down until another incident evolved. That is why I am making this post. The sad part is: I shouldn't have had to write another post!! My concerns and questions should have been addressed after the first incident!!! Key points here: 1.They have no respect for your loved ones-they do not care about the dignity of your loved ones!!!! 2. Staff sit in the office on the Memory Care Unit and talk to family or just play on their phones or computer! 3.If you ask staff a question, they seemed to be bothered by your disrupting them! 4. Also when you take your loved one out for the day from the Memory Care Unit, the med techs DO NOT fill out the forms of what medications you are bringing home with your family member! They expect the family members to fill out the paperwork for them! 5. This facility and staff are more eager to blame instead of finding a solution to the problem. 6. The lack of communication runs rapid from the corporate office down to the facility level. 7. They over bill. 8.This place needs a complete overhaul from Corporate Office down to facility level!

So thankful for Ofer!!! He saved me from a world of pain. I contacted him after my first Lymphatic Drainage Massage I had in Miami post lipo/bbl. Let me tell you it was nothing short of torture. I called Ofer and he assured me it is NOT suppose to be painful. I was terrified after what I had just experienced but.. he was right. He did not hurt me at all. Every massage is not only super relaxing, but also very effective. My stomach is flatter after each massage and I feel very relaxed and reassured.. he tells me how I'm healing which is very comforting to me. I had a massage from Ofer last week and it was great! Ofer has a very kind and pleasant demeanor and is friendly and professional. I have a couple of herniated discs and he was able to release a lot of the tension that I had been feeling in that area and he was able to get into the very tight spots/knots under my shoulder blades(or "wings" as he calls them!). His massage included stretching, which really felt good for my hips. There were several times during the massage where it felt like there were 2 people working on me because he was doing different things with each hand. There were many little nuances that Ofer included that you don't typically receive - attention to small details that adds a nice touch. He asked what I Iiked and didn't like at the end, but it would have been more accurate to ask what I liked and what I liked more. Overall, a really nice massage and very relaxing! Thanks Ofer! Imagine finally finding a massage therapist that not only knows his craft but also listens to your requests and doesn't just give you the "massage envy" type massage. Ofer is highly skilled in many massage modalities and he incorporates as many as he feels are appropriate to his individual's needs. I usually get a massage from Ofer when I am tense from stress. He is very welcoming and professional. The massage area is very calming, clean, and relaxing. During the massage, he is very attentive to tense areas and applies appropriate pressure. He uses a variety of massage techniques and I think this is excellent so that I can remain awake to experience the wide range of sensations from the massage and resist the urge to drift into sleep from the relaxation. Having a neurological disorder makes it difficult to balance. Tension and stress also exasperate my condition. Ofer is knowledgeable about physiology, the structure and the processes of the human body. With each visit from Ofer, I find myself improving. I have been sick at the time of my appointment yet after the session, I felt the benefit of having a therapist who is knowledgeable. I usually avoid therapy because of many negative experiences. I first went to Ofer 5 years ago for a couple of lymphatic massages after having a mommy makeover procedure . He was awesome and I healed quickly. Today 5 years later I had my 3rd Swedish massage session with him which is helping me a lot with my Vertigo issues he is awesome with his message techniques and every time my sessions are over I can't wait until the next one I highly recommend Ofer Massage, in my book he deserves 10 stars. The best message I have ever had . I had lipo 360 preformed last Monday and when I returned home on Friday evening I believe the plan ride was to much for my body ,Saturday morning I woke up screaming in pain my lymph node were filled with fluid. Thank goodness for Ofer! I was working a 3 day/10 hour shift on my feet and felt my back was not going to make it through. On my lunch hour of the third day, I headed to Ofer Massage and was pleasantly suprised. His table was heated with quiet music playing and he listened to exactly what I needed. I went to Ofer after reading about him on yelp. One of the best massage therapist you can find. He asked about any pain I had and worked with it. The room is in his house but it was very comfortable and relaxing. Overall a very comforting and enjoyable experience, I plan on going back in a week or two. read more

Her Thai massage goes deep with stretches and hitting the typical areas not touched by mainstream massages like armpit. Her prices are well deserved for great master level massage, the beautiful appointed environment, tiger balm, water and organic snack at end. She provide a set of cotton clothe to wear. Thai massage uses no oils and one lies on a mattress, no table, so it isn't Swedish nor American style massage. Enjoy if you need some knots dug out. Drink plenty of water afterwards and take it easy after one of her massage because you'll be well tenderized. *For one's first time, come a few minutes early to fill out the new client forms.

The strip is a bit run down with a tattoo parlor, an Asian market, a psychic, a smoke shop, and a few other stores easily accessed from the main road. There's parking right out front. My husband and I came for two half-hour foot massages. And when we arrived, they took us right away. We were ushered into a front room which had two chaises, where we were directed to lie down. We were covered with towels and a covering was placed over our eyes. There was soft relaxing music playing in the background. Unlike other food massage places, we did not soak our feet in water. Instead, our feet were cleaned with alcohol spray and a wash cloth. The massage itself concentrated on our feet only. There was a very small time on the lower legs. Even though it wasn't the best foot massage I've ever had, it's always a relaxing and welcome experience to have this done. So I'm very glad we came. And a big thank you to my husband for treating me!

Also, you should note that for the most part, Sonja just copies and pastes her responses for the good reviews. If she can't even be bothered to tailor her response to the review, you know you can probably expect a cookie cutter massage. But my daughter gave me a groupon for her, which is the only reason I went to her. And I believe the fact that it was a groupon was probably the reason she treated my wife and I so badly. Anyway, I booked my massage for Friday at 5:00pm. A little while later, I got an email saying my appointment had been moved to 11:30am. So I went back to the website and booked my wife for a 10am appointment the same day as mine. One thing I should point out is that I had forgotten that our vehicle was hooked up to a uhaul trailer that didn't have a jack stand so I couldn't disconnect it. So we had to buy a $30 Uber to get to the appointment, which meant another $30 Uber to get back, so just getting to and from the massage appointments had already cost us $60. When we arrived, Sonja opened the door for us but didn't say a word, no verbal greeting whatsoever, she just moved aside so we could enter, and the look on her face seemed really grouchy, like she had been having a very bad day already and was making no attempt to hide it. At any rate, we were there for our relaxing massages, so ignoring the gloomy ambience and the very crusty look on Sonja's face, I cheerfully introduced my wife as the 10am appointment, and myself as her 11:30am appointment. Sonja literally snapped at me, saying, "I don't have an 11:30 appointment today." I was completely taken aback by the level of what appeared to be anger directed at me by someone I actually hadn't even formally met and who's entire job was to help people relax. But I thought that perhaps she had an assistant or something, and they had changed the appointment and forgotten to tell Sonja, so I said, "Well, I actually booked my massage for 5pm tonight but then got an email saying it had been changed to 11:30am this morning." Sonja again snapped at me and said, "My 11:30 is someone else." I thought to myself, 'Umm, didn't you just say you don't have an 11:30?' So I said, "Hang on, let me check the email." So I pulled out my phone found that Sonja was correct. The appointment I had booked for 5pm Friday had been changed to 11:30am SATURDAY. That was my mistake, and I owned up to it. I said, "I'm so sorry, you're right, my appointment is for tomorrow. My bad!" And I laughed a bit at my mistake, and said, "Well, I guess we will just get Julia's massage today and I will come back tomorrow." But Sonja's attitude continued, and she kept snapping at me and said, "My 10am is Eric, not Julia." So I said, "Well, when I booked her massage, it didn't ask for a name and didn't give me the option of filling out an intake form, which is why we got here a bit early, so she can fill it out." But Sonja said that wasn't how it worked, and that my wife had to go online and fill out the intake form, snapping at me the entire half hour we wasted there. At one point I even tried to de-escalate by saying, "I feel like you're kind of being snappy and I'm not sure why." But Sonja interrupted me and literally raised her voice to talk over me saying, "You're being rude!!" I have no idea how I was being rude, because the entire beginning of the conversation went exactly as I just stated. My wife was actually super uncomfortable around Sonja by this point. She didn't even want to take a chance even trying to talk to Sonja, so she started texting me, begging me to leave because she was so uncomfortable and stressed from Sonja's attitude that she just wanted to leave and lose the money. I don't have room in the review to explain the rest, but the short of it is that Sonja continued her rude attitude the entire time and it got so uncomfortable that we decided to just cancel both appointments, which Sonja did refund and we appreciated that. But we are still out the $60.00 Uber trip money and the TIP that massagebook charged us, all because Sonja showed up to work in a really bad mood and treated us very badly. I see her response and although I had hoped for an apology for the way she treated us, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that all she did was lie. Sonja made my wife so uncomfortable and afraid that she didn't want the massage, as you can see in my wife's own words from the texts she sent me. I will be sure to pass on your comment to her, but it wasn't buddha and sage she was talking about, which I'm sure you know, but are pretending ignorance. And Sonja never once asked me to leave; that's a flat out lie. If she had, I would have left without another word.
