Jonathan did a fantastic job focusing on the key areas I needed most and he was very professional and you can just tell he loves what he does. He listens to all of your concerns and makes sure they're addressed right away. The store itself is extremely clean and all of the staff are wonderful. It is evident that she is fully booked and shows no inclination to accommodate new clients. Her direction is that you should text her the day before a desired appointment time to check for cancellations (she won't contact you), or to text her on the last day of the month for any potential openings during the upcoming months-the answer I got after multiple attempts was a consistent and simple one word answer: "no". When you're dealing with inflamation and pain and you need a skilled massage therapist, having somebody brush you aside like that is off-putting. I played by her rules for a couple of weeks and it became clear to me that she has no inclination to take on new clients. Waiting a few days or even maybe a week I get, but multiple weeks or even a month? And you have to kept texting her? A worthwhile practitioner would say something like "I'm not taking on new clients right now, however I have a waitlist and I'll call you if I get an opening". Honesty goes a long way and feeling like you're being played and just being put on the back shelf in case she has a space to fill her calendar, is ridiculous. She may be a great practitioner but the arrogance and dismissiveness that she shows for people negates that. It's a pretty surprising attitude to get from a massage therapist. I, like many of her clients, have had great massages all over the place and blah blah blah. We've all had good massage therapists. Ariana is not the only one out there. Maybe in this area sadly, but certainly not the only one that's talented. Two thumbs down.

My mother needed rehab after a broken hip and spending 7 days after surgery lying in a hospital bed…read moreNOT being given PT or OT. She is very stubborn and didn't want to do the required 3 hours of therapy/day. The therapists were unfailingly polite and professional, but would not take no for an answer. Despite herself, she progressed very well. I am sure that she improved more here than she would have anywhere else in this part of Florida. And the food is great, too! Case manager Tina was very helpful, and always kept me in the loop regarding the plan of action and her progress. My only complaint? They are a short-term rehab facility. Their average stay is 10-12 days. My mother has definitely improved, but she had basically no mobility when she arrived and will definitely need more therapy before she's ready to go back to her home by herself. So we are looking for another short term assisted living or skilled nursing facility so that she can make enough progress to go home. I really wish she could stay here for another 2 weeks with her excellent team, but they won't change their policy. I am sure that wherever she ends up won't be half as nice as Encompass!

Tequesta Terrace is a beautiful facility. From the moment you pull up and park, you see that this property is well taken care of. The building looks more like a hotel; nothing about it- to me- screams institution. The front desk is always staffed by a smiling, welcoming woman, and I've spent time more than once in the comfortable waiting area/communal living room it opens onto. No matter what, I'm entering into a depressing situation- a loved one in a nursing home; thus, I appreciate even more the very non-depressing entrance! TT decorates heavily for most holidays. This gives the building a homey feel. The staff in the memory care wing have almost always been pleasant, with an easy smile for a visitor. This is so important; these staff members have a very trying and probably depressing job. Residents pass away constantly and only enter this wing in dire decline. I have witnessed staff at lesser facilities openly abuse residents verbally and physically; I can't imagine this happening here. I've visited at all times of the day, weekdays and weekends. I'm not saying that I see everything or that every staff person is perfect: I have had my share of frustrations with various details. I have also seen staff exhibit extreme patience and care for both residents and their concerned loved ones. I hope this means that staff here are paid justly for the work they do. The staff knows right away who I am visiting and where to find him. I find this surprising and endearing. Walking into the memory care wing, the spacious opening room opens with a grand piano, bookcase, and living room furniture. The memory care wing surrounds a beautiful, private courtyard with benches, tables and chairs, a fountain, and lovely landscaping. This space has been my saving grace. Although most residents aren't able to access this space on their own (due to memory reasons), it provides a wonderful space to interact with my loved one and give him fresh air and sunlight. The church bells from the Catholic Church nearby ring often. Lizards run everywhere, protected from predators. I wish they would plant butterfly plants and put up bird-feeders, to attract more wildlife, but in general it is a lovely space. When I first began visiting, I was always impressed with TT's ability to keep the wing smelling pretty good. It isn't always this way, but 75% of the time it smells ok. This is not easy task, to say the least. The main room where the residents spend most of their time has vaulted ceilings and skylights; it feels very open. I do think it is too small for all the residents. To fit everyone in, residents must sit next to each other, which causes problems, and there is very little space for walkers or wheelchairs to move freely, which is disappointing considering it is no small task for a resident to move about independently, let alone navigate around feet and walkers and furniture. I am hoping the staff will address this overcrowding soon. I am so grateful that my loved one is safe and well take care of. It is the best I could hope for in this situation (Alzheimer's). He had been in and out of intensive care while being bedridden in a different rehab and skilled nursing facility. After many months in that facility he had recovered enough to eat and swallow soft food but he was still unable to walk. Then he came to Lynmoore, just before Christmas in 2023. My wife and I live in California, so we can't visit him in Florida that often, but we did visit for a few days in June, 2024. What a difference! We walked in one day just after his physical therapy session ended; he was walking back to his room with the therapist by his side, not in his wheelchair! That never happened before. This alone would rate five stars, all gold, but there is more. During our visit we interacted with many people: the nurses, the therapists, the community engagement director, the records office, the business office, even the dining hall staff. Everyone was friendly and professional. Residents coming and going were greeted by name. The buildings were clean and well maintained. The food was good; I ordered the same thing that my brother had when we ate together in the dining room. The affiliated home healthcare and pharmacy services are excellent; I continue to interact with them. However, there is even more to the story. My brother was in such bad shape when he first came to Lynmoore that, during our June visit, a couple of staff members admitted to me that they didn't think he would last in assisted living; he was that bad off. I truly believe he was admitted and flourished because the Wellness Director believed in him, motivated him from the very beginning, and everyone took good care of him around the clock.
