I want to recommend this vintage shop so badly, but the inconsistent hours frustrate me. This is the second time I've traveled out of my way to shop there and they're closed, when they should be open. Today there's a handwritten note saying, "Closed Today. Sorry." DONT BUY FROM HERE! I came in with my sister in law ready to buy vintage jewelry but when we asked the lady in the front that was on her phone if we could see some jewelry in some cages she said no because no one else is in the store. Makes no sense! So we asked her again if we're not allowed to see or buy anything since it's only her in the store and her response was yes. I don't understand how someone with an attitude and rudeness can continue to have a business. All we wanted was to see was some jewelry in cages but we couldn't because another associate was needed to "keep an eye on the store" ?? read more

I feel like an American Picker walking into this antique mall. Mind you, I use "antique" loosely. The vast inventory, some nearly antiques, some a bit too new to even classify as vintage, some rickety, some not, organized chaos piled from floor to ceiling, with a definite shabby chic, quirky vibe, makes this place a real find. The building looks like old, drab, decrepit stuccoed adobe. There isn't even a proper building sign. There is a crude sign propped up against a piece of furniture out front, but hardly visible. Don't let that intimidate you. You can rely on your GPS plus your good instincts which have been nurtured after seeing people with smiles on their face dragging old and bizarre stuff out a non- descript front door and loading it in their trunk. I spent an hour meandering inside, finding great buys for Xmas items, dolls, birdhouses, decorations, toys, glassware, furniture, to name a few, and then discovering she had more... a lot of old, rusty, rickety stuff hiding out the back door in a huge dirt lot. Heart be still. Now I know this isn't for everyone, but for me, this discovery started me spontaneously drooling. My kind of place, kind of like digging through a time capsule or an old barn in the Midwest. The icing on the cake was the pricing. Compared to the high rent, classy, prim and proper antique stores just a block away on Main St., this place is shockingly reasonable. Of course, you have to walk in there with no expectations of finding anything in perfect condition either. These things are USED by gum. They are also insanely amusing. This may be that place where you find Grannie's kitchenware that Ma tossed but you now wish you had, or that funky piece of rickety garden art that brings a giggle to your vegetable garden. Sneak a peek to satisfy an urge. You know you want to. Some people's junk are other people's treasures. read more

This antique shop is fantastic! Let me tell you why.. I meandered through the store, which was larger than I had expected it to be, and stumbled upon some great finds along the way. Not only is this the type of place that feels like a scavenger hunt as there is something great behind every corner and in every cranny, but I was also pleasantly surprised by the incredibly reasonable prices. This is a fun vintage mall in old town Elsinore. I always find that "thing you don't need but have to have" here! Prices are great, and there are always new things to find. I love the quirky set up of the place, and have my favorite booths that I make a beeline for, usually every week LOL! I recently found some great garden planters in the back yard, where there is even MORE stuff! You can spend a couple hours looking around at the whole place. This is a good spot to look for unusual gifts too, I found some nice pottery, a breadbox, and vintage mid century trays. A few sellers are from back east, and bring in things you don't usually see out here. There is a vintage kitchen room in back with shelves full of cute dishes, Pyrex, and all sorts of knick knacks. Stop and shop after work if you have the vintage shopping bug and everywhere else is closed. You will not walk out empty handed! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The lady who worked Saturday morning was AWFUL & RUDE! I will NEVER come back and I've made sure to tell others not to shop there. Came in for the Holiday Shop shop Event. I figured it was a great way to get these small shops exposure and some foot traffic. 1. Show up at 11am, when they open and she tells us it'll be a few until she can let us in because she's still turning on lights and what not. 2. My friend had a stroller and she just looked at her and said "you can't bring that in here, my store isn't stroller friendly." Okay, we understand. It's an antique store, there is valuables and you don't want anything broken. But we went to other stores that were more than accommodating and also were a lot more friendly then this hag. 3. The event had a punch card if you go to each store to be entered into a raffle. There were four stores listed. Everyone was great. Had no problem giving us a stamp, until this lady. She looked at me and said "you need to buy something!" I laughed in her face and said "it doesn't say that on the card." She said "that's the whole point!" In the most condescending way. I laughed again and said "again, that doesn't say that, but whatever!" & I walked out. I don't understand how you could say you weren't going to punch a whole for the stamp card, when NO WHERE on there it states a purchase is necessary. Also, the other stores were more than accommodating for everything in general & what if I didn't want to purchase something from your store??! I was forced to, just to enter into a raffle?! Awful awful awful. I let the host of the event know what experience we had and I hope no one else had to deal with her. read more

Some booths are hunt and dig. Others are organized. But the bottom line is you never know what you'll find. A great little hidden treasure off the Main Street. Usually I pass thru the store more than once because I'm sure I missed something the first time around. Will keep going back for sure. read more
