Off the Leash is the absolute best facility of its kind anywhere. My dogs have been going there for many years. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and capable. Management is super organized and has several levels of care and training for different dogs' needs. OTL has doggie daycare, training, grooming and boarding. I know my dog will have the best experience when she attends. The staff sends photos of my dog every day she is there with accompanying funny text to say what she is doing. Any time I mentioned to her that we go to school she gets really excited, she wiggles her tail and gives me a lot of kisses. Every person that works there is very professional and knowledgeable. Bailey is my first dog and they helped and gave me great advice any time I had questions. My puppy has a tendency to eat every toy and it was very important for me to find a safe place where she will be supervised when I have to work. In the past we had a very unfortunate incident in another doggy daycare where she ate a toy due to negligence of the staff. Off the Leash is super safe, they follow all the guidelines, have professional doggy furniture and no random toys that doggy can eat. The establishment is clean and impeccable. They also have a great program for dog training. We took a couple of their classes, like "Star Puppy" and "Loose leash walking". We tried to get our dog placed here. There was an 8 month waiting list, and then once we reached the 8 months, they added another 5. Customer service experience wasn't great. We went with a different option, and never heard back on our wait list placement. Shame, as we know others who love it there, but luckily we found a great place somewhere else. read more

I have been meaning to update my review to say that I have now taken my dog to OTL both for daycare and boarding, and it is a great place. I definitely recommend it! The staff are all so friendly and they definitely made me feel better about leaving my little pup. On her first day of daycare my dog got a report card which was both cute and informative. I would give them five stars, but for their webcam issues. Several times I had to call them to get them to turn it on. Call me a neurotic mother, but if you advertise a webcam (which for me was a big selling point), it better be on! read more

My 1 year old corgi has been going to Off the Leash for a few months now and we love it. We use the daycare service a few days a month while I sleep as a night nurse. Things that keep me coming back: - Awesome staff, they seem to genuinely care and remember small details - Doggie web cam - Instagram and Facebook updates - Health record maintenance to be sure all dogs are healthy - We did obedience level 1 which was very effective - Boarding, daycare, grooming, and training all in one place - Clean facility with indoor and outdoor play space (and pools) - Safe dog ratio - Reasonable rates $28 for a whole day of day care (I pay a walker $18 for just 30 min on other days) - Hours work with my schedule There are no concerns that I have about Off the Leash and although I initially felt guilty and nervous leaving him there that subsided as soon as I saw how excited he was every time we pull up. I really love this place! I brought my new puppy for obedience training and got so much more than I thought I was paying for. They not only train your dog but also train you how to deal with a puppy and have it learn new habits. The most important thing that my puppy picked up there was socialzation with other dogs which he hadn't come into contact with before (besides his parents and litter-mates) I was unsure about daycare services too but after seeing the facility and meeting the staff i'm totally comfortable with leaving my dog with them. As you may have gathered from my previous posts, I have two golden retrievers and they are my babies. If you are a pet owner like me who treats their pets like children, then you will understand my post here! I was looking for a place that would allow my dogs to run around freely while they are boarding. After looking around for a bit this place was one of the few (maybe one of 2?) here in the Providence area that offered this service and was by far the most convenient of the places I looked at. A reputable boarding place should be asking you to provide updated information about your pets vaccination status. While it is annoying to constantly update them with that information, they clearly make sure that all dogs are healthy before they are brought for boarding. Of the 4 times that I have brought them here so far, they have not been sick. I choose to board both of them in the same kennel overnight but during the day the play with all the other dogs. At first before you are allowed to board you have to bring your dog in for a "personality assessment" to ensure that they will play nice with the other dogs. After that you are good to go! Book ahead for holidays because they book up very quickly here! read more

our golden doodle Zoey (aka Zoey doodle as she know around the OTL parts) has been going here for almost 2 years now. the staff is amazing from the time you drop off to the time you pickup. Zoey has done a few camping trips (boarding) and when ever we had a question or called to check in its always a great response from the staff. highly recommend OTL to anyone, we recently moved further from attleboro and still bring zoey to play with her friends... if you need to cancel, they always ask if everything is ok and look forward to the next visit... read more

I LOVE this place, and so does my dog. I started going here about a year ago when I first adopted my dog and realized that he has pretty crippling separation anxiety that doesn't allow me to leave him alone for more than a very short amount of time (although we have made progress). It was recommended to me by a woman I met at a dog park in Providence and since it's on my way to work I decided to give it a try. Cowboy now goes at least twice a week, often three times and every experience is a pleasure. The men and women who work at the front desk are incredibly friendly and remember both my dog's name and mine. Every time we get there he runs gleefully towards the door to the play area wagging his tail profusely and hardly giving me a second look. Pick up and drop off are efficient and stress free. Cowboy occasionally has problems with men we meet and will become aggressive or very submissive but all the men here are greeted with frantic wagging tails and kisses. I love that they have a doggie cam so I can catch him playing with all the other pups while he is at work. He always seems to be having a great time :) When he comes home he is exhausted and ready to snuggle in for some serious snooze time. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone. read more

The BEST place to leave your dog. Extremely well-trained, competent staff with supervisors who are experts in dog behavior. My dogs LOVE their stays at OTL and I never have to worry about their care. Since moving to CT, we have yet to find a place that even compares. We still make the 2 hour drive to OTL if our dogs need to be boarded. We wouldn't trust our babies with anyone else! read more

The people here have become almost family for us! We got a new puppy with lots of energy and needed a place local to burn some of that... Off the leash was perfect! They trained our little buddy and treated him like their own dog. We had some trouble with him nipping and biting but they always worked with us to help correct that. Super flexible around our schedule if we needed a last min drop off they always accommodated us. We ended up having to give up our little guy and right to the very end they were there for us. Every employee there treats you like your dog's the only dog in the whole place. They take the time to let you know how your dog was doing that day while at daycare. They also will special order you treats from vendors if OTL don't have it in stock. Excellent customer service and they really care about your dog. I could not imagine having my dog spend time with anyone else but the team at OTL! My dog Trevor is a high energy rescue who loves being with other dogs. OTL is one of the few daycare/boarding centers with large playrooms and constant staff attention. He always comes home and is totally tuckered out. Additionally, Trevor gets groomed by OTL. He can be a little bit shy when it comes to new or odd experiences but they work with him and make it a fun experience! I just moved out of the area and am so sad that we can't use OTL any more, due to distance. My pup, Rambo, loved it there. He went for daycare, boarding, and grooming. Disappointed...We have been bringing our lab mix puppy to OTL since October. He loved it and we thought it was a wonderful way to expend some of his puppy energy. We had never had a complaint about his behavior and then suddenly within his last two visits we were told that he plays to rough. We were told that he was a danger to himself and other dogs because he didn't know when to stop trying to initiate play. He was snapped at by another dog but no harm was done to either of them. Then we were told he can't come back. We were shocked to say the least, he had been there over 20 times without a problem. It would be understandable to us if he were aggressive but he's really just a big dumb goofball, and they agreed that he does not have a harmful bone in his body. LET ME BE CLEAR, in no way would we ever want any dog to be endangered by his actions! But we expected that staff would be able to redirect his playful behavior when it became too much and hopefully help him learn correct behavior. Instead he was "kicked out". More disappointing to us because we were counting on day care and boarding when go on vacation in a week. Like everyone else who brings their dog to daycare,we love this guy, he is our baby. We take him to dog parks (with never a problem or fight), obedience training and he starts agility in the Spring. We wish OTL had been able to take the time with him to help mold him into the great dog we know he will be. On the good news side of things we did find another daycare that can handle his exuberance and he is doing great. read more

I cannot say enough good things about OTL. The staff is SO friendly and genuinely thrilled to be working with dogs all day -- every staff member's demeanor, dog knowledge and professionalism is top notch (special kudos to my dog Anak's favorites: Sadhana, Liz, Deanna & Emily). My dog is super excited every time I bring him to OTL, and is drop-dead exhausted by the time I pick him up -- which is a GREAT thing since he is so high-energy! The webcam is a special treat during a boring workday, and the facilities are very clean and spacious. I am sad to report that I got a new job and OTL is no longer on my commute, so Anak won't be a daily visitor anymore (the staff literally said a tearful goodbye to him on his last day!), but I absolutely will be revisiting OTL for boarding in the future. We have a lot of daycare experience from the Bay Area to Cambridge, MA, and OTL is on par with the best of them. We used to be huge fans of OTL - had a great experience taking their training class (though I've since learned the trainer we loved is no longer working there) and have been very happy with their grooming. So, we waited for over 6 weeks to bring our dog here for grooming and they waited until the day of the appointment to tell us that they could not groom our dog because she is not vaccinated for kennel cough. Would have been nice to know 6 weeks ago! read more

Yeah -- Ralph and his whole crew are pretty amazing. Coming from Cambridge, I had no problem traveling the extra distance to bring my child (an english bulldog named LESTER) to this place multiple times when my girlfriend and I would go on vacation. He LOVED it there. Very clean facilities, very reasonable prices, and all the dogs get plenty of love and attention. Since neither Lester nor my girlfriend are here anymore, I haven't been in a little while - but all the experiences I did have were TOP NOTCH and I would highly highly reccomend this place to anyone looking to give the pups their own vacation while you and the rest of your family take yours.... they even have an amazing custom made sign on the front of the building! :-) read more

I absolutely love this place!!!! Owners/staff are incredibly nice and attentive. I loved the doggie cam so I can check in on my dogs throughout the day while at work. Even boarded my 2 there for a weekend. The dogs were excited to see me but as soon as I took them outside to the car they were pulling to go back in!!! Both my boys go to OTL, and they love it. All the staff is amazing. Liz always has a smile on her face when I pick the boys up. I also use the groomer. Niko, my husky, has had several groomers, and Vanessa is by far the best. Bailey and I went through level one training with Ralph and Colton, and it was fantastic. Ralph is knowledgeable and has a calm demeanor that is rare. Colton is great, too, and gave me some good tips to use with specific issues at home for my other dog, Niko. OTL also gives back to the community. I am a volunteer with FAAS, and they have sponsored several of our events. Ralph also devotes his time to helping us train volunteers and dogs that come through the shelter. If you live or work in the Attleboro area and you're looking for a great facility with genuine people, go to Off the Leash. I'll never take my dogs anywhere else. read more

I have a 3 year old beagle mix who is full of energy, so after much research I decided on OTL for daycare. At first I loved OTL, the staff were friendly and I was able to see my dog play on webcam. My dog went weekly for about a year and a half with little issues, if any. Every time I picked up my dog the owner would tell me what a great day my dog had and the very nice man bringing him out would always tell me what a great dog I have. Then this woman Elizabeth, I believe her name is, started to cash out parents and all of a sudden my dog is a nightmare. Every time I picked him up there was an issue that I've never seen in my dog. My dog is well socialized with other dogs and the issues she was bringing up I have NEVER seen with him. The last day I went to pick up my dog, she was the one at the counter. As I was paying she began to tell me how my dog is not welcomed back at OTL anymore. She proceeded to tell me that when I drop my dog off at 7:45 he is not able to go in with the other dogs, and he is crated for the first 2 hours. So of course when the webcams come one at 10:30 I see him playing with the other dogs and have no idea he was sitting in a cage for at least 2 hours. But then I find out they also crated him in the afternoon if he was too "rowdy" for the other dogs. So he's crated at least two hours in the morning, and hour for lunch then in the afternoon for God knows how long. I was furious but then she continues to keep going on about how terrible my dog is, the same dog that had been going there's for over a year and was such a "great dog" according to other staff. My dog is only 25 pounds but I requested he be in the "Big Dog" room due to his high energy level. She told me that he plays with the big dogs necks too much and it's not "appropriate" play at daycare. Excuse me, but has anyone seen dogs play? They play with each other's necks, especially my little 25lbs dog who is in a room with dogs three times his size! He has never been too rough or mean to other dogs, even when a dog had attacked him in the past. She told me that his energy level is too much for the little dog room, yes I am aware, I told you guys that and requested he DID NOT go in that room. So apparently there is no place for him there, according to her. I did not appreciate any of this and the fact that the owners did not call me ahead of time to make me aware of what was going on. It was so unprofessional. I will never refer them to anyone again, who knows what is going on when the webcams are off. I didn't not pay $28 a day for my dog to be sitting in a crate, when he's not even crated at home! read more

I just had my Cavachon groomed here for the first time, and I was EXTREMEMLY happy. I had taken him to another groomer who did a rather poor job, so I was leary about taking him to Off the Leash. I was very pleasantly surprised to see my happy little guy looking so good. The staff was great and, more importantly, my pup seemed to enjoy his pampering. I wish they had longer or more varied hours for grooming, however. My cousin has taken her dog there for boarding and day care, and she was very pleased, as well. I never board my dogs, and I'm very fussy about their care, but feel confident having them groomed here. I am taking a tour next week of the entire facility, and will update if I find things NOT to my liking. Thank you to the others who rated this establishment. Because of your reviews, and the recommendation of my cousin, I have found my groomer! My search is over. Update: I've lowered my rating significantly since my first impression. My dog got to the point, after more than a year, where he would not go through the doors for his grooming. I was concerned. I asked every time I went in, if there was some way to prevent him being put in a cage, thinking that was the problem, explaining that he was a rescue from a puppy mill and spent 6 months of his life in one. The answer was that I would have to pay full price for the day care. Nope. Being disabled, I can't get out in the mornings and I, therefore, schedule things late in the day. So there was no way my dog would be there for more than an hour or so waiting to be groomed. So, we continued going there, and he continued to be unhappy. The grooming area is hidden away behind a door and has no window, but I finally got my nose through the door. I was unhappy with what I saw. It's tiny and has little room to move, and the cages hold the dogs until it's their turn. Crammed and hidden away, not good. So, no longer having faith in Off the Leash, I looked on Yelp and saw Shaggy Chic. The reviews were terrific, and I liked what I read. What a difference! The price was less. The time for grooming dropped by an hour or more, AND, no cages! My dog has been going there for over a year now. He goes in without protest. He LIKES his groomer and actually runs to her in excitement to tell her he's ready to get his harness and go home, when I arrive! Nothing hides him from sight. You walk in and see the grooming taking place. She does a great job in less time, for less money, and I have a happy dog. Good-bye Off the Leash. Thank you, Shaggy Chic! Off the Leash is an exceptionally run doggy daycare and boarding facility. The staff is great - they really take the time to get to know your dog and his personality type. We took our Shiba Inu to OTL for about 8 mos prior to moving out of the area, and so far we have not found any place that compares. It's a great feeling to drop your pet off knowing that he/she is in good hands. They have a big play area for the big dogs, and a medium sized area for smaller breeds. They also have an outdoor area that they open during nicer weather. The hours are reasonable for pickup and dropoff, and the prices are also very fair. What sets this place apart has to be the members of the staff, though. We felt like we were bringing our dog to his second home where everybody was happy to see him on a daily basis. It would be great to pick him up after work and hear interesting stories of a new game he played with one of the members or a new nickname he earned throughout the day. I just want to share my experience with OTL. I went there on a few occasions and found that the staff was hit or miss. Sometimes they were friendly and other times they made me feel as though I wasnt there at all. On a number of occasions I called numerous times and got no answer at all. One of those occaasions I drove down and found that They were less than helpful when i arrived. They made me feel like I should have kept calling and that my dog and I were not important. I will be returning to my previous Daycare for the future. read more

I have been using off the leash for the last OTL for approximately 9 years. Although my dogs do not go for daycare anymore, it is the only place I trust to board them. I don't worry when they are there and they don't mind if you call to check in. I have three dogs that usually stay there and one time I only boarded two of the three, they asked a friend of mine if my other dog was ok because I didn't board him. They were concerned that something had happened to him. My dogs come home healthy and happy. They love it there!! If you are looking for a great place to leave your dog this is the place. I literally can not say enough about Off the Leash Doggie Daycare. My lab has been going there since she was exactly 4 months old and it has truly changed her life. Originally, I worked a normal 8 hour day but I felt as though she was spending too much time home a lone or in her kennel. I started off looking for dog walkers and then realized that there was such thing as doggy day care (costs about the same for one walk as it does for an entire day of day care). My work situation has changed and I am home with her a lot more, however I still send her 2-3 times a week because she loves it. There are other doggie day cares closer to my house, but I drive out of my way to take her to this amazing place. It has allowed her to socialize with other dogs from a young age, which is so important. Additionally, she requires a significant amount of exercise, and although I walk her twice a day, it wasn't enough. She is in love with the staff at OTL, particularly Liz and Emily who are both amazing. My dog is a little scared of strangers, and loves everyone at OTL so I know they are doing a great job and that she trusts them. The web cam is an added bonus and I think it is a fantastic idea. They also have grooming services which is so convenient. You can have your dog groomed or have their nails clipped right there while they are at day care. All in all, I would give OTL 5+ stars as I think they are amazing and so does my pup! read more
