    Bailey

Off The Leash is the best doggy daycare around this area. My pup Bailey loves going there. Any time I mentioned to her that we go to school she gets really excited, she wiggles her tail and gives me a lot of kisses. Every person that works there is very professional and knowledgeable. Bailey is my first dog and they helped and gave me great advice any time I had questions. My puppy has a tendency to eat every toy and it was very important for me to find a safe place where she will be supervised when I have to work. In the past we had a very unfortunate incident in another doggy daycare where she ate a toy due to negligence of the staff. Off the Leash is super safe, they follow all the guidelines, have professional doggy furniture and no random toys that doggy can eat. The establishment is clean and impeccable. They also have a great program for dog training. We took a couple of their classes, like "Star Puppy" and "Loose leash walking". Bailey definitely learned a lot and became a better listener.  Thank you OTL!!! We love you

I have been meaning to update my review to say that I have now taken my dog to OTL both for daycare and boarding, and it is a great place. I definitely recommend it! The staff are all so friendly and they definitely made me feel better about leaving my little pup. On her first day of daycare my dog got a report card which was both cute and informative. I would give them five stars, but for their webcam issues. Several times I had to call them to get them to turn it on. Call me a neurotic mother, but if you advertise a webcam (which for me was a big selling point), it better be on!

My 1 year old corgi has been going to Off the Leash for a few months now and we love it. We use the daycare service a few days a month while I sleep as a night nurse. Things that keep me coming back: - Awesome staff, they seem to genuinely care and remember small details - Doggie web cam - Instagram and Facebook updates - Health record maintenance to be sure all dogs are healthy - We did obedience level 1 which was very effective - Boarding, daycare, grooming, and training all in one place - Clean facility with indoor and outdoor play space (and pools) - Safe dog ratio - Reasonable rates $28 for a whole day of day care (I pay a walker $18 for just 30 min on other days) - Hours work with my schedule There are no concerns that I have about Off the Leash and although I initially felt guilty and nervous leaving him there that subsided as soon as I saw how excited he was every time we pull up. They even took fun pictures for his birthday.

our golden doodle Zoey (aka Zoey doodle as she know around the OTL parts) has been going here for almost 2 years now. the staff is amazing from the time you drop off to the time you pickup. Zoey has done a few camping trips (boarding) and when ever we had a question or called to check in its always a great response from the staff. highly recommend OTL to anyone, we recently moved further from attleboro and still bring zoey to play with her friends... if you need to cancel, they always ask if everything is ok and look forward to the next visit...

My dog has been going to Off The Leash for 2 years now 2x a week for doggie daycare. I cannot say enough amazing things about OTL! Every employee there treats you like your dog's the only dog in the whole place. They take the time to let you know how your dog was doing that day while at daycare. They also will special order you treats from vendors if OTL don't have it in stock. Excellent customer service and they really care about your dog. They have a groomer on site so your dog can go to daycare, be groomed and all set to go home for the day. OTL is a 1 stop shop for everything. Try it out, your pup will not be disappointed.

I love that they have a doggie cam so I can catch him playing with all the other pups while he is at work.

That teacher is no longer there, wish I had known. No mention of what to bring to first class, luckily I had a sense of what to bring. Class was lackluster, nothing you couldn't get from any book. Play time the first class was pretty successful but at the second class things got a little too heated and when I asked for help breaking it up the teacher instead just kept shaming me and belittle what was happening. To be clear, I bring my puppy to the dog park often and know dogs can play rough but when there is BLOOD on your dogs ear, a HUMAN gets BIT it's time to break it up and not go into the origin of the word BITCH. You sign away any chance of putting responsibility on Canine Mastery so I wasn't willing to see how far this was going to go so I picked up my puppy. Teacher immediately tells the class that's the worst thing you can do but what choice did I have if they were not going to help. The next day I reached out to have a discussion and despite not feeling heard I was fine to return to class the following week. Then I got a giddy call from the teacher/ owner that she had called most everyone on the class to get their sense of the situation. How disappointing and disgusting!! They didn't see the look in my puppy's eyes as she was darting for help nor did they see the gash in her ear that took a solid MONTH to fully heal. If you do decide to take a chance I would ask for teaching credentials because I doubt they exist.

Since then, I have taken two puppies through all their puppy classes, and three dogs have regularly attended agility classes. This week, yet another puppy completed Puppy Kindergarten and will commence with future courses in....well, I haven't decided that yet because CM has so much to offer. This place is amazing. I have had classes with the owner, Kathy (Puppy Kindergarten), and several of other instructors including Kathleen (for other puppy classes) and Joy (for trick classes) most recently. Even with my reactive dog, Kathleen was instructive, professional, and patient. Deb is by far the most patient agility instructor I know. She gets to know every dog and every human client so well that I feel like I'm taking private lessons even when I'm not. She knows that I like homework so she's always giving me ideas about things I can do to make improvements even in the dead of winter in the house. I really appreciate the non-judgmental atmosphere there because let's face it, we are not all the best at this stuff. You just can't get a bad instructor at Canine Mastery. An added bonus taking classes at CM is the other clients. They are so supportive and enjoy their classes so much that you get to see the best side of people with whom you take classes. I always feel like I know the other people in my classes even when I really only know their dog's names (shhh, don't tell them I don't know their names). Whenever I have a question about bad weather cancelations, or anything else, I email Joy or Deb and voila! I get an immediate answer. I wish every business were this responsive. Could you imagine cable companies or doctors doing that? You never feel like you're left out in the cold at CM. Let's talk about money. I have taken classes even recently at other facilities just to try them out and every one of them has been more expensive. (Hey CM, don't get any ideas!). Moreover, I felt a little less able to connect with them when necessary, and sometimes their teaching styles have been a bit too competitive for me. That said, most of the agility students in Deb's agility classes are competing with the best of them and making good headway. It's all about what you want to get out of your training for CM, and of course, what's best for your pup. Who knows, maybe my new pup will be into nose work or something else I've never tried before. Regardless, I know exactly where to go to learn something new. Canine Mastery is indeed just that - masters at working with you and your dogs. Moreover, they are real people who absolutely love what they do. You'll love them too. Thanks CM! Judy A. Van Wyk, PhD.

Sydney appeared on the surface to be a knowledgeable dog trainer but she lacks effective communication skills and applies questionable methods in her training of reactive dogs. While my primary issue resides in her poor communication I do recall one occasion where she pulled Odin's slip lead so tight while he was barking at a dog passing by that you could hear it choking him. We had multiple sessions that had same day cancellations on their end. Which is a double standard considering their policy for their customers requires at least 24 hours notice or it will result in a loss of a session or a $65 fee. They definitely value their time and money more than yours. On one occasion I had to reach out to her the morning of our scheduled session to confirm we were still on. She responded 6 hours prior to our session that she had an evaluation that was going to overlap because she forgot to follow up with me. The appointment was rescheduled. On a separate occasion we had a group training session scheduled but the other dogs canceled an hour and a half prior to the session. She said she would reach out that day or the next to reschedule. Two weeks had passed and I hadn't heard a word. I had to reach out to her. She replied by saying "my b for not getting back to you, weekends have been busy busy." We had an exchange via text and she ultimately decided she no longer wanted to work together and she put me in contact with Joe. He offered two sessions with him or a $250 refund. I paid $2,500 up front with the agreement that Odin's training didn't have a set number of sessions but rather we would work with him until he was good to go. Joe undermined that agreement when he offered only 2 sessions. Had he decided to honor my previous agreement with Sydney I would have taken that offer. I didn't agree on the $250 refund since they had only accomplished basic obedience training with Odin. Which he was already well versed in when in a calm environment. One session consisted of her feeding Odin Pirates Booty from a muzzle for 40 minutes. They said in their session confirmations that the session will last an hour. Very rarely was this the case and most of our sessions ran below that time frame. Odin's real issue was resource guarding and his reactivity to other dogs and children. That training was never completed. I do take responsibility for removing the rubber piece off of the e-collar because I thought it was on there to protect water from getting in and I was attempting to charge it. However, the new e-collar they ordered had been in for some time and we never began working with it. Also, they get the cheapest e-collars they can pass with. You're better off buying your own. Which I did. Even though I didn't agree on the $250 refund Joe took it upon himself to refund it to my account anyway. I also never received the new e-collar which he stated was the reason he wouldn't refund more. As a side note, they claim to make training plans that adapt to the dog and the owners needs. Sydney never asked me to demonstrate how Odin walked with me on leash. Rather she had a generic format she implemented instead. At the end of the day I feel they're highly dependent on the e-collar for their training, have very poor customer service and need to develop a stronger work ethic. I would highly recommend seeking training from a more reputable, professional and qualified trainer.
