After being told the email address to send the file to, Shelby assisted my daughter with the size of the paper needed, type of paper, etc. She printed it up, asked if she needed a bag and we were on our way. I went to Office Depot to have my wedding invitations printed and had a mixed experience. I brought in a color sample because I wanted a very specific paper. The two employees in the print area showed me options that weren't very close and suggested I look in the cardstock section for a certain type of paper. When I couldn't find what they described and went back for help, they didn't seem very interested and told us they didn't have anyone available in the store to assist. We eventually found another employee, I believe her name was Malu, who was extremely helpful and made me feel much better about the situation. Thanks to her, I was able to move forward with my order. I picked up my invitations the next day and they looked great at first, but when I got home I realized they were not cut to the correct 5x7 size and wouldn't fit in the envelopes. I called and was told to bring them back in, but that I might be charged even though the sizing issue wasn't my fault. My original total was $150, which covered printing and cutting 100 invitations that included four separate pieces. When I returned, I was told they would need to hand-cut just the main invite to correct the size and that it would cost an additional $175 more than my original total, and only to fix one piece of the set. I'm now having to go out of my way to hand cut the invitations myself, which could have been avoided if they had been cut correctly the first time. While I appreciate Malu's help and the print quality itself, the lack of assistance at the beginning and the extra charge to correct a sizing issue was very disappointing, especially for something as important as wedding invitations. read more

I got semi help when I went in trying to find ink we needed for our printer. Was told they didn't have it, but online showed several in stock. So I chanced it and within an hour is was ready for pickup. I tried curbside pickup since I've been to every store imaginable trying to find the ink. I know they offer it but no one walks out and when you call you don't connect to anyone. I walked back in and orders just sit on a shelf with no employee to over see it. Staff needs to be appropriately trained in County and state requirements and exemptions for COVID-19 regarding appropriate face covering. I went to the store with a face guard and was not allowed to shop. I was told that a face "mask" was required even with the full face shield. As a store patron I should not be required to educate a place of business on what's what with such regulations nor be forced to provide personal information so that they understand what an exemption entails. I was abiding by rules in wearing a FULL FACE shield. No speak to the store before COVID-19, this location was/is too often missing basic office supplies. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The general manager Jason lied to my face about a price for an item. He said it was an error in the system even when the price was showing the discounted price on their Zebras (price checker). He had the employee helping me hide the zebra price from me. And said that if I wanted the item in the glass case, he would have the cashier ring it up at the price on the shelf. Being someone who also worked in retail, I couldn't understand and asked him why he couldn't give me the item for the price it scanned as. He said that's the "price in the store" ... and am I not in their store? As I continued to ask why it was so dishonest and why he had his coworker also lie to me, he walked away saying he has other customers. I literally saw him come from the next aisle loading stock. I am honestly disappointed at the customer service I received by the manager Jason. If a customer finds a good deal and the price scans it as that, why can't the store honor it? Rather, they will not allow you to get that deal and change the price at the registers to the incorrect price on the shelf. This is my last time visiting this location. This place is close to the freeway and it's in a big shopping center. Pretty big parking lot do easy to find a spot. I went there for an office chair and a cork board. I usually try what I think is cheaper department stores. I figured I would go somewhere that specialized in what I was looking for. I made the right choice. To my surprise they have way better quality here and a lot more options. I found a huge cork board for a very good price. They had a great selection of office chairs. I found one with back support. Something you really wouldn't find at a department store. The man you helped us offered me all my options and was very prompt is getting us the chair. The total price was $90! That was a steal because other places that I thought were cheaper were more expensive for what I was looking for. I definitely recommend coming here first. Definitely a 5 Star read more

Came in to spend some money. Wanted to buy an office chair, all the accessories for my new office including a computer, monitor, key board, mouse, etc. stood there for an unacceptable amount of time before going to the register to ask for help. I said "can someone help me with a monitor". The girl said "you want what"? I said I want a monitor can someone help me? (Dumb as a sack of rocks). There were at least 6-7 people working. Standing around. Nobody came to help. Nobody even acknowledged that we were there. I finally walked out. Told the girl nobody bothered to help so we are leaving. She says "sorry about that". So happy I came here! I had a bunch of document files that I needed printed. This place was the cheapest and so friendly. Staples to print was $0.49 per page (black & white) plus $0.30 a minute to use the computer. FedEx was $0.59 per black & white page. Office depot was super quick and easy. I just emailed them the documents and it took less than 5 minutes. For black and white it's $0.15 per page. Since i printed over 200 pages, the bulk price was $0.14 per page. Plus they gave me a 15% discount so total was less than $32. Very happy customer! read more

Great store. Very friendly and professional staff. The manager at this store helped me process my exchange. She was very polite and attentive. She had to make a call to approve my return but she did not give me a hard time about it. It was even near closing time when I had to make the exchange. I was so happy I was able to exchange my Acer Aspire because I had to drive really far from my house to get there and the last Office Depot that I visited was a slightly below par experience. So my hopes were down in the beginning. This Office Depot also had a lot of neat stuff on display as well. New printers and computer notebook cases to name a couple. She helped me with my fax copies and made some great suggestions on how to save money the next time I had a ton of pages to fax. I Waited the whole day on expected delivery and was keeping close for the whole weekend because it was an expensive item. Still no delivery or contact from Office Depot Now 4 days late. After almost being denied anything I called corporate (their request) and they could not find the transaction either. Great customer service! I was in a rush to get some name cards printed out for my Brother's wedding and the gentleman in printing made sure that nothing got cut off and was what I needed. It took not even 3 minutes to print (they don't print until you get there) and I was on my way! I also purchased some 4x6 envelopes from here and online the price was 50% less than what was in store for the same exact item. They honored the price for me no questions asked. This store is horrible. I purchased an expensive chair and was told it would be delivered the following day. I received confirmation that the chair would be delivered the following day. I called the next day to get an approximate time frame and was given the telephone number to OnTrac who does their delivery. I called in the morning and the person checked with the driver and said it would be delivered between 3 - 5 pm. 5:30pm no call and therefore called to check the status. The tracking on line states it was out for delivery. An individual from OnTrac checked and i was told the merchandise was not there, therefore it would not be delivered to the following day. I asked what time and was told between 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. and could not get anything closer. I guess i was expected to wait home for 12 hours. I called the store Manager,Calvin, and was told they could not do anything and that they had no say so with their coatrack delivery and that needed to call them. Any other company would have contacted their delivery unit and provide me with better information. Its False when they tell you next day delivery and that they have no control or say so with the delivery unit that works for OfficeDepot. SAVE YOUR SANITY and shop somewhere else. the Manager said if I had to wait 12 hours time span they would have had it delivered to the store and call me when it arrived. NO ONE INFORMED ME OF THIS. Their overall review says it all. This is an update: I spoke with the store manager, Calvin, regarding status of the delivery. He stated there was NOTHING the store could do or find out the problem with the promise of delivery. I contacted the Corporate office and was informed that everything he stated was not true and that he could have checked it out. The delivery company that office depot contract with is OnTrac and they ARE technically an employee of office depot. Why the Manager told so many lies is beyond me but i verified that should have investigated the matter. I would like to say how this particular store was very helpful to me. My son just started high school and needed a particular type of calculator, which must be required for any incoming freshman and above. These calculators were scarce at best. We live in Concord and a good friend who works for the company was nice enough to purchase one for our son on her employee discount. The WC store only had the black color and I had suggested to our son, that he get a different color, to distinguish his from the many others, in case it got lost. But the color he wanted was scarce at best. So, our friend got the black one and suggested we exchange it at another store, which has his chosen color. I called the Antioch store and a nice lady put it on hold, but could only do so for one hour. I told her I couldn't come in until the next day and she couldn't promise that ot would still be there... In the meanwhile, I called stores from San Ramon to Vallejo. SR was sold out completely, WC had the inventory wrong, online and the Vallejo store insisted they had the color we wanted, but they were too lazy to actually check. Knowing the online info could be wrong, I didn't feeling like driving up there for nothing... I called the Antioch store back to see if they had the calculator still on hold and they just couldn't seem to locate it, but told me to call back in a few more mins. When I did, I got the manager, Laura on the phone and she said they found it and would hold it up front. We drove out there and were pit of there in five minutes! No hassles or laziness or apathy. I recommend this store if your looking for a low stock item, so they can possibly hold it for you, especially if you have an exchange and don't need to buy it again online! I must have caught this clerk on a we' bad day. I've been using Office Depot and OfficeMax since 2000 to get my "back to school" supplies for the classes I has a teacher. When I went in there on last Thursday I was served by a young female sale clerk who must have been having a terrible day. I tried to sympathize with her, but negatively overpowered any positive vibes I tried to bring into her day. I was returning an item that I brought two weeks ago that did not have the UPC numbers on it nor did I have the receipt. As I approached her she had a negative look on her face and immediately said I could not return the items without the receipt or the UPC numbers because she cannot look it up. I told her that she could verify it was one of their product by examining the charges on my charge/card or review my purchases, as I was a member of their discounts club. I really do not enjoy telling people how to locate the information that is not my position as a consumer,but understanding she was filled with negative vibes she begrudgingly she research the item and at the same time she seem to question my purchase by saying "Still do not believe we carry these items here" and such a negative tone of voice I asked her to carefully researched this as she was doing there I went to the back of the store retrieve the items brought it to her attention where she can use the UPC code to exchange the item in question. She seem shocked and annoyed and doing her job. It was a very unpleasant experience for me because I have never had this experience at this particular store before. If you're having a bad day please do not take out on the customer.began to research the items, because I did not have the receipt and got the vibe from her that she didn't know what to do anymore work for that day, I went to the back of the store to retrieve the item I wanted to replace. When I came back to the salesperson she again stated that they do not carry this item at the same time I was showing her the same product that I got off the shelf. She did not apologize for her mistake and rudeness and handed me off to another sales person who was very polite and courteous as she walked out from behind the cash register grabbing her lunch and a candy bar of the shelf. read more
