So grateful I found out about ERG Solutions! After spending many years buying one mediocre office chair after another, I decided that it was finally time to invest in something that would last and protect my neck, back and shoulders. I had my eye on the Herman Miller Mirra 2 or Aerons but sadly, the prices for these chairs on the Design Within Reach website cost anywhere from one to two thousand dollars. As a grad student living in the Bay Area, these prices are very...well...out of reach. After browsing many online retailers, Facebook marketplace and Craigslist, I stumbled across ERG Solutions and purchased one of their Herman Miller Mirra 2 chairs for less than half of what it would have cost retail! I ordered the chair on a Saturday and the chair was delivered the following Wednesday. The person who delivered it even called me ahead of time to let me know when they would be arriving and offered to help me move the chair into my apartment, a very kind gesture! The chair itself arrived clean and in excellent condition! No issues! Unfortunately, after sitting in the chair for one week, I found that the chair was simply too large for my body and needed to be returned. As another reviewer mentioned, Alex didn't try to upsell me. He listened patiently to my concerns, suggested other options and offered me a full refund for the cost of the chair. He even offered to have one of his workers drive our to where I live (Oakland) and collect the chair for $40 - saving me valuable time and money of having to Uber the chair back to their warehouse (I'm a NYC transplant so I don't yet own a car). A friend mentioned a listing he found on Craigslist that led us to ERG Solutions. I called Alexis and inquired about some budget Herman Miller chairs they had for sale; he very kindly set aside one of them for me so I could see it later that weekend. Having arranged a time with Alexis, I got in and met up with Dan, who was keeping eye on the shop. Dan showed me the chair I asked to have set aside--a very modest budget chair--and he demonstrated the feature set to that chair. Naturally, there were other, much nicer looking chairs also in the same room, so I asked to try some of the other ones that were available. Not blinking in the face of an immediate upsell, Dan let me try the other chairs I was interested in and very helpfully showed me the additional features on the chairs I was investigating. I went in expecting to walk away with a minor upgrade to my dinky Target office chair and ended up walking out with two fully loaded Aerons (because my wife walked in and saw me sitting in one, tried it out, and demanded one for herself). Dan then, again very helpfully, offered to load them into our hatchback, and our combined Tetris skills managed to help us get the chairs into our car. Sadly, Dan was not available to very helpfully unload the chairs on our return to East Bay, but he DID offer to arrange for delivery if we had issues loading the chairs in the first place, so that's nice. All that and apparently my friend gets a referral fee for the two chairs we bought, so I absolutely cannot give anything less than five stars for both service and price. read more

I highly recommend ERG Solutions run by Alexis and Miguel. I've purchased over 7 items from them over the past year on 3 separate occasions, referred multiple friends, and plan to continue buying Herman Miller chairs and standing desks in the future. Alexis and Miguel are very entrepreneurial in the sense that they know how to create maximum service for their customers. For instance, during the pandemic I had ordered multiple items and could not pick them up - otherwise I would have to make 3 trips. They coordinated delivery. Alexis was extremely communicative. They even came in and helped install the standing desks and taught me how to use the Herman Miller chairs properly. That's something Herman Miller doesn't even do. I know there's a lot of other options on the market, but their prices come in lower, their quality is better, and service is great. One chair had a very minor issue and I dropped it off and they are helping me take care of it under warranty, and will even drop it off for me since I am not too far away. read more

I purchased a Herman Miller remastered aeron, and I had a great experience for the following reasons: 1) Competitive price for a "like new" chair. 2) Sam, who assisted me with the purchase on-site, was very helpful; he went out of his way to find a "newer" version of the same chair in their storage and helped with moving it to my car (a sedan). 3) 1-year warranty and 30-day return policy, which are generally not available when purchasing from individual sellers. I was searching craigslist for high-quality ergonomic task chairs such as those made by Herman Miller and Steelcase and came across a listing from ERG Solutions for classic Herman Miller Aerons at a lower price than any other listing in the south bay area. When I found that the listing was from a business that offers a warranty on their used chairs, and not a private seller with no way to provide post-purchase support, I was elated. After making my way to their website and finding that you can schedule appointments to visit their showroom, I got myself set up with an appointment that same day and made the drive up to Santa Clara from Salinas to check out their chairs. Alexis took the time to go over the features and adjustments of all of the chairs I was interested in (Aeron Classic/Remastered, Embody, Gesture, etc.) and even brought over a lower-priced Steelcase chair configured as a stool when it became clear that I needed a taller cylinder than the Aeron Classic provided, but was unsure I wanted to step up to the cost of an Aeron Remastered, which fit me much better. I really appreciated his efforts to find something that worked for me, without any pressure of an upsell to the Aeron Remastered. I ultimately settled on the Aeron Remastered and could not be happier with my purchase. ERG Solutions offers a 30-day return window and will warranty the chair for two years, which provides great peace of mind for a purchase of this caliber, without the need to spend the $$$$ Herman Miller asks for this chair new which of course would come with their stellar 12-year warranty. However, the chair was in like-new condition and I feel confident that it will easily outlive the 2-year warranty provided by ERG. I am very happy to have somebody to call should something fail on it in the first years of ownership. My girlfriend came with me as company and ended up sitting in a few chairs herself. She found the Aeron Classic to be a perfect fit for her. She also had a need for an ergonomic upgrade, so we came home with one of those as well. After an easy same-as-cash payment using Venmo (No tax for cash purchases, credit cards require paying tax), Alexis and Miguel did an excellent job of loading both chairs into our Honda HR-V. I would highly recommend that anybody interested in feeling the difference that a high-end task chair can make to a comfortable computer work experience visit ERG Solutions to at least sit in their offerings. ERG solutions for the win! This review is based off a chair I purchased and some other purchases I have made on behalf of my employer in the last year. I needed a new office chair since I was going to be working from home. I was referred by a friend and was given 5 star service. Alexis was very knowledgeable and wanted to explain everything about the chair since this was first time I was going to buy an office chair for my home office. Since I loved his service, his company came to my mind when I had to buy some chairs for a new facility I'm opening up. Miguel and him emailed me different chairs and after a few emails back and forth I bought them and they delivered them to us. While dropping them off, I showed them the facility and they mentioned all the services they offer. I mentioned I needed movers to move chairs and standing desk from one building and needed to move chairs and desk to our floor plan. They were professional and very careful with what they were moving.
