I was in a bind and needed help to print some obituaries that I was put in charge of at the last minute. The service I received was exactly what I needed. Meri quickly assisted me in my print job that I was having trouble printing. Then Cassy formatted my other document and had the obituaries printed quickly and with kindness as she worked. "Awesome", everything went absolutely perfect. I pulled up in front of store to curbside pick up, checked in and my order was brought to my window in less than 10 minutes ! Absolutely never come here for backpacks after Back To School sales. I was trying to get a Jansport backpack because you know, they're popular and durable and stylish and cute. I saw a sign that said 50% ALL bags (excluding BUSINESS CASES). I got a black Jansport bag and ring it up at the register. It says 54.99. Keep in mind it didn't say anything about the exclusion of Jansport bags. So I was really pissed because nowhere on the sign it said that Jansport bags were excluded. TJ at the register ended up giving 20% off the bag due to the whole situation. If you're going to have a sale on items, please make sure to make any excluded items visible so customers get as upset as I did. read more

I would give zero stars if able. First, the copy/printing people are RUDE! I was there to have a game download that I purchased online printed. She couldn't tel me if they have "GSM 200" paper or not. The she couldn't tell me how much posters are to print. Then she tried to tell me they couldn't print the game because it was "copywrited". I had the receipt and email with the download they sent me that says "print at an office store" on it. When I tried to explain that to her she got loud and hateful and told me "well you will have to hang on because I am doing 900 things right now. I had already wait in line over 30 minutes for my turn. Then I was scolded for "not keeping six feet of distance" but she had told me to move down?!?! On December 12, I purchased the Printshop Professional 5.0 software package from Office Depot in Burleson, Texas, for $54.99. The serial number (serial key) required to activate the program was NOT included. Instead, there was a "redemption code" which had nothing to do with activating it. Over the following week, I spent countless hours on line, loading and reloading the digital version, as instructed by Brøderbund, the software manufacturer, but the serial key they sent me never worked either. I'm a tech guy so this wasn't user error. After 3 days of trying, I realized this is a scam. If there is a way to activate this product, nobody is least bit interested in telling the customer how. There are many other customers out there who have the same problem. As last resort, I returned to the Office Depot store and spoke with the manager. She told me there was nothing she could do because the package had been opened. You HAVE to open it to find the serial number is not included. I reminded her that their policy is to replace with same product, and she suddenly remembered I was correct. I told her I would need to open a new one and we'd likely find another redemption code - not a serial key - as the manufacturer itself said on line that serial codes were not shipped out with all products. What? She said if I opened the new one, I'd be stuck with it no matter what. I calmly told her this is a scam, and they really shouldn't be selling stuff like this if it is just going to screw the customer over. She told me to call Office Depot main office, that they can help me. After another hour of wasted time on the phone, I finally got a human on the line, who ran me around in circles before finally telling me that since I bought it at the store, the store would have to resolve it. The principle of the thing is what really bothers me here. This store is absolutely ok with knowingly selling defective products, with no recourse or intention of ever making it right. I wish I hadn't spent an additional $100 there that day on printer ink, paper, page sleeves, and other items for my cookbook project. I was calm and respectful and disgusted that this establishment showed me no sign of trying to help me, or that they even acknowledged any issue on their part. So, this is what you potentially have to look forward to from the good folks at Office Depot in Burleson, Texas. Beware buying anything there before trying it out in the store. If it plugs in, plug it in and see if it comes on. If it has moving parts, make sure they move. And DO NOT buy software from them unless you have money to burn. They do not seem to care about their customers. This is either a cold person (manager) who just doesn't give a flip about the customer, OR a company policy forced on the manager. Either way, it is truly unacceptable to me and I'll be going the extra couple miles to Staples from now on. read more

This is the last time I will come to this Office Depot. I needed to print something for a work project and the girls behind the counter let me on the computer,as I have done in the past at this location,and I discovered that they don't even have a word document on the computer so I decided to print from my email to see if would look ok. When I went to the counter the guy talked to me like I was stupid saying I'm supposed to let them print for me...I wasn't told that....then he said I was just going to have to wait because he didn't know where I sent it to...the last time i came I had a big poster made for my job and he was rude then too.i came back hoping things would be different but obviously things haven't changed... unfortunate... read more

I ordered a poster at 7am, because site says they can make posters within 24 hours if ordered by 2pm. I called at 5pm to check the status. The lady says " ohhhhhh no one called you?" I said no. She continued "well our poster machine is down and we wouldn't have printed it anyway because it as celebrities on it." OK. Well I needed that poster by tomorrow and no one called me. She says well we were really busy this morning. OK well. how about refund my money because 1. I can't even get what I need for a 10th grade presentation and 2. customer service is severely lacking when your machine is down and an order is processed and my money has been taken someone should be calling me. read more

DO NOT ever ship from this store and expect them to be knowledgeable OR informative. Horrible process (took 20 mins and I had to get back in line at 3 different registers/counters) and then they neglected to verbalize the apparently known limitations of the USPS option that I chose.
