I tend to create a lot of graphics for Yelp events when we host them, and whenever I need stuff printed, this is the shop I turn to. Their turnaround is pretty decent; usually I'm only printing a handful of 8x5x11 sheets, so it's not usually a large load, but they're always pretty quick to get my materials printed even when it's a last minute job. FedEx makes it so easy that you can go online and upload your images there, then send them to a particular shop for the printing. They give you the option to have reps call you when the order is done, or call if there are any issues (which there really aren't). This shop also has the benefit of being the closest one to my house (only about 10 minutes away at the most). So naturally, I come here a lot. The employees are always friendly. They make getting printing jobs done the easiest part of my job!

So with just my digital file I contacted the store and they were able to give me instructions to appropriately send them the digital file. I uploaded the file and asked for a phone call if need be rather than email. I called late in the day as I had not heard from anyone and had been told they usually turn things around same day. The woman said she emailed me - not sure how since I didn't give an email in the request?? Apparently I accidentally sent the files formatted for 8-1/2x11. I was not told this was an issue nor was I told it would incur extra costs. The woman kindly finished the job and left it outside their door for me to pick up after hours. When I opened the invoice I found I was charged double. I called for an explanation and was told I should have gotten a quote, there were extenuating circumstances regarding the job (what??), Rick had no recollection of our conversation and tried telling me he doesn't quote things over the phone. I should have come in for him to look at the job - what's the point of the file upload on the website then??? Rick was nasty!!!!

The reason I'm docking a star was because when I used this place to print my business cards, the card stock was not as strong and thick as I would have liked, but still way better then places (and cheaper) then places like Kinko's. Also, when I was having my business cards printed here, I accidentally forgot to feature my email address and although that's not their responsibility, it would have been a nice touch to have them look it over and say..."hey, maybe you wanted an email or phone # printed on here?" Anyway, most recently I used them to print out 4x6" post cards for an upcoming event and after calling them in the morning and getting them the print-ready files by 1PM, I was able to pick up 100 cards at $45. Double sided color, great stock and at 45 cents aipece, I was happy. The person on the other end of the phone was nice, responsible and seemed to know what she was talking about (I believe Michelle was her name, thanks Michelle!). The location downtown is conveniently located to many businesses as well. I'll be happy to give them more of my business down the line, but I still prefer to get my business cards printed online simply because I've found better card stock there. If you do start printing your cards in thicker quality, please let me know so that I can change my buying habits :)!

We already had the file, and just needed a good printing company to complete the cards. Greg was great. He responded the same day I initially sent an email (other shops didn't respond at all) and during a visit to the shop, was very helpful in helping us select the right paper and envelope, etc. The cards came out perfect and the staff was thoughtful enough to match the font on the envelope to that of the card, without me specifying. Barrett and his team are a joy to work with and were able to digitize my difficult artworks that include gold leaf paint and colour correct accurately for the glare. I also had note card sets made and amazing stickers with a foam core display. Barrett also customized the backs of my cards with a variation on my sticker designs that is super cool and took the time to brand my stickers with my business name.
