SO now we print at Office Depot in Ellisville. AND we have also had them create business cards for us - we created on the website and they printed an hour or so later - WELL DONE! Not my Depot of choice which is the one closest to home, but they do a great job. I had a dentist appointment down the street and thought I'd stop by to pick up needed office supplies before heading into work. I was promptly greeted as I entered the store and asked if I needed help finding anything. Since I was picking an item up that I rarely need and had no I idea where to look I said, "yes". I knew what I needed and wanted, but had no idea what it was called. So I told the young man I needed; "that button thing that you can clip on your lanyard @ work that has a clip that pulls out on a string". What a description, but he got it. I need something like this for my security cards and keys. He took me straight to the item and showed me two different styles to choose from. Shopping alone, I would have never looked in that area of the store. I selected the one I wanted and was a happy shopper. As we walked back to the cashier, he apologized that it wasn't a button. I had to explain to him, no apology was necessary that this was exactly what I wanted. He responded," but it's not a button". I told him, "no, but it is round and looks like a button and you did a great job". If you ever need anything like the item I described, it's called an ID Card Reel. read more

Totally incompetent staff at this location today. In addition to being clueless they were not very interested in helping to solve a payment problem in the copy center. I and another customer were told to " call our 1-800 number" with your issue. We were incredulous and finally decided to work the reimbursement issue out between ourselves. It involved purchasing one of your giftcards (which staff could handle) and I really hated to have to give the company any more money. Train your staff & your managers on duty and explain customer service in the process. read more

I love Office Depot in the Lafayette Center (by Dierber's). I order from them online and get my order in two days (or less). They have the best prices on printer cartridges, printer paper (most times), pens, white out, and scotch tape (that I use for everything includin food bags that I tape shut when I can't seem to find a clippie! LoL!) Try them you will agree! Plus I get rewards that turn to $$ read more

These stores are becoming more and more obsolete because WalMart and Target carry the basics in this genre and it's so easy to just order office supplies online now. They show up 24 hours later and the shipping is free. I was out in Ellisville though and I saw the Office Depot and remembered I need those big 2018 desk calendars for work. I went in, walked around the entire store, and got back to the front and asked a sales associate. Turns out they were stacked up in front right near the cash register. Mission accomplished. I'd return if I needed something immediately. read more

I got concierge service from door to door. I needed a color ink cartridge for my laser printer, gave the young greeter man the cartridge number. He accurately surmised that it is a Hewlett-Packard laser printer, and he took me directly to the aisle and the cartridge. I was in and out in less than five minutes, as that's all I needed. At checkout, the friendly clerk asked me if I needed postage (Since when does Office Depot sell stamps? How convenient!), then she gave me a sample package of #10 envelopes they were giving away. read more

I ordered a printer on 7/25/20 and it was for a 1 hour curbside pickup. Because I ordered so late in the day it was to be ready the next morning. So the next morning I get an email detailing the printer was not available and that the order would be canceled. I then called the store thinking it must have been an error and if not when could expect a refund. The acting manager said that the store manager,Mike, was out of town and would be back in a couple days but that he, the guy answering, was the one working the order would have my refund sent by Monday or Tuesday of the coming week. On Wednesday when I discovered that the refund of $272.40 hadn't been sent I called the store back this time speaking to Mike himself. Mike rushed the call sending me straight to 1-800-go-depot. I then called the number given and spoke with a lady who did bare minimum and I could tell she was following a script. She then told me to wait until Friday and the refund would be sent. Well today is Friday and I called the 1800-go-depot. Got another lady, sounds like the same one, who then told me she canceled the order and I should receive a refund in 5-7 business days. At this point I want my money back and never to deal with Office Depot again! read more

I bought batteries on 11/28/2016, because the salesperson said they would only cost 1cent and you would get a rebate automatically. I waited till 1/3/2017 and received nothing. When I called today Maria said nothing was issued but she will put an order in for my $27.96. If there were 10,000 people that bought batteries and received nothing it would add up to $279,600.00. Nice little business model if you can get away with it. I found once I complained about it they just give you what you were promised. I do not like having to work and double checking with the business to find out that they are not doing what they said they would do and then go through the work of following up with it to get my rebate. I think this is very poor business. Anybody else not get their rebates???? read more

Just purchased an office chair with terrible service. When we arrived, a sales associate was talking with a customer about a chair for about 10 to 15 minutes. We waited & checked out chairs for him to finish with this customer & get to us. He walked away without a word! It's impossible for him to not see us! He went to stock ink cartridges. My husband went to the front to ask for help do another associate helped us. The chair we were interested in was boxed & we asked if he could let us sit in it. We were told it would take 25 minutes. After a few minutes we decided to buy it. At checkout we asked the original associate if he saw us & got a crazy answer! The associate checked us out & as he helped put the boxed chair in our car, we told him what happened. He apologized for what happened. We realize everyone is on edge with Covid but we were not in a hurry or anything. There were 3 associates in the store & the only others than us was the original chair customer. He did not buy a chair. We're very disappointed! read more

Customer service is not a priority at this store! I placed an order online for copies. I received a confirmation by email that it would be ready 2 hours later. I went to the store 3 hours later, came upon 2 employees at the printer/copier counter standing around. When I asked about my order, they proceeded to tell me they were swamped with orders and my order had not been processed. One of them, a young lady, proceeded to help me get my order printed. The other, an older gentleman, said he was "going back to cleaning". IF YOU ARE THAT FAR BEHIND ON ORDERS, YOU SHOULDN'T BE CLEANING OR STANDING AROUND!!! As I was signing for my order, another customer walked up asking for her prints. They weren't completed either. This the second time this has happened to me at this store. I will not be going back. I will be amazed if this company is still in business in a year with this kind of horrible service. read more
