It is ironic just how unorganized this store is. This location of Office Depot is not bad, per se, it's just, well...unorganized. It doesn't matter if you are looking to make an in-store purchase or if you order online and just need to pick something up, getting questions answered on the floor takes 15 minutes and at least 3 employees to answer, and picking something up takes about the same amount of time. The staff is polite, but not overly friendly, so that makes the wait time somewhat awkward, but apparently unavoidable. Honestly, we like this store because of its location and because they usually have a decent selection of products in-store, but as we have come to find out recently, some of the other locations nearby have much more engaging and helpful staff that make the buying process a little easier (especially for specialty items like furniture), and a little more enjoyable. Overall, this location is fine if you know what you are looking for, but if not, and you need help from some of the floor staff, I would check out the Office Depot location on 43rd Street. Judge for yourself: I tried to print three one-page documents on self-service machine from a USB flash drive. All four machines would not read the drive. Spoke to the store manager, JoAnn, who tried her best to blame it on me. First, there's something wrong with the flash drive. It's new and formatted on a new laptop running Windows 11. Second, there are too many documents. There were three, tiny files, period. Third, you loaded the flash drives incorrectly. I've been doing this for 20 years so, unlikely. I ask her to print it on the big machines that they use. Drive was read correctly immediately. She handed me 2 printed pages. I had 3 documents. When she tried again we found out that she had ERASED the files on my flash drive. Why!? Now she says it's my fault because she doesn't have time for small jobs like mine (which is why I always use self-service). She was rushed and deleted them without thinking. Well, good job. Hope they aren't paying her much. If you don't want business from small users, just say so. It's less offensive than what happened here. I went home, loaded the same files on the same drive and went to FedEx. Worked the first time and I was gone in 2 minutes. Okay, so lets review. Flash drive works fine on my computer, their computer and the copy machine at FedEx. Only YOUR copy machines fail to read it. How is that my fault? Okay, you win. I won't bother you again. Maybe you want to treat your customers with more respect especially since you never know whom you are being disrespectful to. read more

Ordered print materials and online guaranteed ready by 6 PM then at 4 PM received an email it won't be ready until next day. Called and was told online isn't accurate and they may decide to postpone printing until next day and can't guarantee anything until next day 6 PM even if online says it will be ready. Received no apology or any help. read more

Went to staples first thinking they would get the job done but no. I came to Office Depot and Brenda in the print and copy area was very patient with me along with having a line. She helped me out and was very calm with other customers as well. Thanks Brenda! read more

OMG I love this Office Depot location!!! Kimberly was sooo amazing! She greeted me when I passed by the counter, assisted me by the self service. I ran across a issue with the self service printer and she proceeded to completing my printing job for me with a smile. She made my night. The manager Jo Ann was so helpful as well. This is your typical Office Depot: Big and empty. However, this location is the closest to work so this is my go-to location. It seems like there's always more employees working compared to the number of customers in the store. However, the service is not always top notch. There's been days when I'd come in and I'd have a couple of employees approach and try to help me, and there's been days when I had to go hunt them down. However, every time I was able to find someone to help me, they WILL help me until I find what I need. They have very limited selections of laptops/computers and monitors. It just seems like their selections are not as complete as some of the other OD's that I've visited like the one on Westheimer/Voss. Or maybe, it's just the way the store is arranged? I don't know, but definitely seems bare. They also have a small section where they put their clearance items. Sometimes they're good, sometimes they're okay. I always compare their clearance prices against prices on Amazon. Most times, their clearance prices are the same as Amazon's everyday prices or slightly cheaper. So, it's not really that big a deal. Yes, I'll keep coming here to get papers, supplies, or anything that I need right away. Otherwise, there's always Amazon and I don't have to make the drive anywhere. read more

Giving stars for their print/copy center. They helped me make and design my mom's business cards here. Specifically, Aaron helped me, but the others were willing to help as well. He took the time to help, and edit for me. I was able to save the draft and come back later for any changes. I'm giving four stars as a disclaimer bc service can be inconsistent depending on who you meet. However, they do get bonus point for this: when I tried to call other Office Depot print centers -- this was the only location who answered and connected my call to the department instantly. I noticed people getting documents scanned and emailed here (.25/page), email and print here (.14/page), and get documents shredded here (~$1.99/pound) -- relatively quickly with no wait. Along with faxes and other services. So, definitely taking a mental note on this if I'm in a bind, and if I were in the area. read more

This is my go-to place for office supplies because it's literally right next door to my office. When I run out of glossy paper or need some fancy pens, this is the place to go. However, when I have more specific needs - like magentic numbers for my dry-erase board or packs of scissors for the next company meeting team-building exercise - they fell short. I think the worst part is the lack of service. Every time I go in and have questions, I feel like I have to hunt down an employee and then when I finally find them, they aren't always so helpful. read more

The self serve printing is what I mostly use, but 2 groups of people use it- those with a flash drive, those with email. I use the flash drive so can go right at it, but the email people take forever. Need to have more than 2 machines to begin with, and separate the use, because I'm sick of standing in a line waiting for the emailers or machine monopolizers. read more

Well this comment is actually for an Office Depot employee named Alejandro. I was trying to get 4 specific micro SD cards. They were nowhere to be found, on the rack there were few but not the one I was looking for. I asked Alejandro for help and he found around the store 3 of them and hit me a great option for the fourth card. Then when I was waiting in line the only cashier available asked for help and Alejandro was my cashier. I asked him if he was the manager because his service was very attentive. Sometimes you go to other stores and team members hide from you until they see your buying something big. Way to go Alejandro with that attitude you'll achieve a lot as a worker. read more

The photo and print department at this Office Depot absolutely sucks, horrible customer service. I came up to print 4 posters, it took me 10 min to get attended by someone, even though there was no line, they had many side conversations while also trying to attend me. They didn't tell me if I needed to pick up later or wait, and even then they didn't tell me a waiting time, nor a price for the posters, half of the employees whenever I asked weren't able to answer simple questions such as "how much does this cost" or "what does the glossy paper look like". It was all just a disaster, I would honestly rather go to an Office Depot 30 min away then this one close by for better customer service read more

I just went to Office Depot which is practically empty, there were 5 employees working 1 helping a costumer with printers which what I needed help with and the other 4 employees behind the counter just chatting away, I waited 15 minutes for one of the employees to come and help me and then they saw me and I think they forgot that I was waiting because they looked surprised when they saw me. I have gotten my Christmas letters printed here every year since they opened. They have always been timely, often finishing the job within an hour of when I email the document. But today they went ABOVE AND BEYOND! I recently had surgery so I was somewhat hobbling. 1st the security guard offered me an arm and helped me into the store, 2nd an employee helped me find the perfect paper for my Christmas letter (that matched our family card), and lastly he even pulled one of the demo chairs from the desk section up to the print counter so that I could sit and finish my purchasing. He even went to two different spots in the store to grab some stickers for me to use to seal the envelopes. And they were swamped! Thank you OD staff for helping me get my Christmas cards out on time! read more
