Typically, when I go inside this particular Home Depot, because it's closest to my house, I rarely have to ask anyone for anything. But what I do, the expectation is that I get some type of assistance. So I went to go replace one of my recessed lights, and of course, after trying to find a replacement myself, I asked for some assistance. Well!! After waiting 30 minutes, 3 different employees paging for help, a store manager came over. Short black female....she was nice. But she didn't know much either, and preceded to tell me it was right in front of me. Ma'am., I have been here for 30 minutes, and does it look like I don't know what I'm looking for?!?! I just wasn't able to find it and now I'm asking for someone that works here because I may have overlooked it. Well that was a bust!!! Finally!!! I said my light has 2 prongs....not 3. Came into this Home Depot to use their MinuteKey kiosk. It's located near the entrance, just after the checkout counters. My key was scanned in less than a minute and it has some cute options for keys, like a galaxy design, superhero type design, or Hello Kitty design. Normal keys were about $5 and the special prints were $6. Took less than two minutes to cut a copy of a house/apartment key and it worked like a charm when I got home. This is more of a review for MinuteKey but the Home Depot associates were also very polite in pointing me the right way, so, nice service all around. read more

Hmmm...I came into this location, for a screw similar to the one on my bed frame as it became broken when I took it off. Upon walking in, I asked if someone could assist in locating a match. I waited on isle 14, for about 10-15, minutes waiting for someone to come after I had asked three people. Home Depot is not like it used to be:(. Service has really gone down and the people hired have no idea about the products. I remember having to go through training upon being hired and was required to be knowledgable. The thing that I love about this Home Depot is that there is always somebody there to help. If they can't help you, they definitely find somebody that will. I'm sad there is not a zero option for the star rating. spent over 26,000 on flooring in January. expected delivery feb 9. it's march 9 and nothing I have called the store and corporate dozens of time and used their chat and text functions to ask order status. well corporate can't "see" store orders and the store either puts me on hold, says they will back and they don't or send me to a machine that hangs up on me. i escalated last week and they still have no information!!! Me and my kids went to this lower heights location to purchase a couple items as well as one of the Halloween decorations I seen the week prior to arriving on 9/18. I only didn't purchase this item at the time because I went in to purchase a very expensive washer. Upon my arrival on 9/18 I noticed that this location no longer had this item in stock and only had the display remaining. So I stopped one of the male associates passing by to have him check the inventory as well as checking the inventory for other locations as well. Turns out all of the nearest locations showed that they only had 1 in stock which was most likely the display (as the associate stated). I then asked the associate if I could purchase this item on display, he wasn't sure so I asked if he could ask a manager. When the association re-approached me, he informed me that his manager told him no, I was not able to purchase the item on display because it's not the end of the season and they'll have more in stock come the following week. I even informed the associate that it was another display item that was infront of it that was gone and was he sure I couldn't make this purchase and it was still "my manager said no". I then accepted the information the associate informed me and decided to go back to this location today 9/26 since "they were supposed to get more in stock on yesterday" (as the associate mentioned) and guess what, THE DISPLAY WAS GONEEEEE!!!!! After being told that I was not able to purchase the display one week to arriving the following week to check to see if anymore were back in stock to seeing this item I've been waiting on restock for was OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT. I really hate that I didn't bother to get the associates name because HE LIED to me and I'm very furious about this. Like did he even go ask a manager if I could purchase this display item? Or did he lie about this as well?!. I was currently out running a couple errands on my lunch break so I really didn't have the time to stand around and wait on a manager to approach to hear my concern/complaint so I then decided I was going to give them a call. As I was walking out the door of this location I reached out to speak with management to discuss this situation and yea the call went just as expected. Like yes, I understand since this item is no longer in stock there is nothing you can do about it but don't blame your "new employees" by saying "well we have a lot of new associates and they don't know." When neither one of us even know if this was a "new" employee who I spoke with on that night. Her fabulous customer service turned what began as an absolutely horrible experience into something that would have me return to this store in the future. My purpose for coming into the store was to place an order for an item that can only be purchased online. Normally, I would have completed this purchase from home, but realized that I needed assistance with price-matching a competitor's price. So, I go to the store and wait for assistance from a gentleman at the Customer Service desk. Immediately, he seemed less than thrilled to assist me. After explaining that my price match was only possible if the model numbers matched, he proceeded to do an online comparison of the items, then tell me the price adjustment wasn't possible. From my end, this merely seemed like a corporate policy to minimize savings opportunities for customers, as I had already gone to great lengths to compare every detail of each store's description of the item in question. Not having the desire to get into a back and forth with the associate, I chose to simply head to the ProDesk, where I've had good experiences in the past. Luckily, Stephanie was working there and she recognized me from a previous purchase. After explaining the situation, she picked up the phone to reach the manager for assistance. Within minutes, she had explained the matter to the manager, who, within minutes, agreed to validate the price adjustment. All ends well, and I leave the store as a happy customer. Picked up a grill this weekend. Home Depot had a nice selection to choose from. Customer service was outstanding! Enrique and Claire in the gardening department were both so helpful in helping me load my new purchase. We had to put our heads together and get a little creative with hauling the grill into my smaller SUV. The three of us shared some laughs as we successful found a solution for transport. Hate that Home Depot does nothing about people parking in the loading section and go shop, this is why I'm slowly moving away to other lumber yards pay a little more but less of a headache.
