When I came to pick it up, she said it's trash and told me to pay again. I paid again, no problem, then she said it'll take a couple more hours. This place is a joke. Loses an extra star for not having a trash can inside OR outside; the worker (who is not at fault and deserves a living wage) said the store "wanted to limit customers'" garbage or something like... I'm not sorry, if you are open to the public, then having public utilities and furniture, like trash cans, is not only for the benefit of the public, but also ensures the cleanliness and environmental quality of the area. (pictured is not on the Staples site, but of a similarly-sized and situated Office Depot down the road to show how EASY it is to provide). Plus, the store is sited on a lot that contributes to detrimental automotive-focused suburban design - especially by its impervious paving and vehicular circulatory areas and parking in what should be contributing to a denser, walkable, multi-modal environment.

The next day less than 24 hours later I brought it back, un opened, United damaged, literally in the same condition. All they had to do was put it back on the shelf. I asked for a refund was told they could not refund it to my credit card, like literally every other retailer in 2026 can. They was given the option to take cash. So I agreed. However the cash amount was nearly $40 less than the purchase amount. So ther policy is no receipt they will take it back but they make $40 by doing so. What a crock! I will never step foot in a Office Depot again! And all these retailer wonder why Amazon is kicking their ass
