Got there at 6:45 they close at 7. I understand I have 15 minutes to get a chair which, if you don't know my god Chairs are basically average price $200+ ) anyways of course I know they want to go home after a long shift. The second I walk in just horrible attitude like basically get the f out of here attitude. Before I continue I want to let you know I was out the door with a chair ( @ 7:05 pm ) so 5 minutes after there shift ended. Simply not the end of the world. Anyways all the prices listed on the chairs in store were about $100 more than what they list online. Anyways after simply telling the guy hey I have $150 to spend and online it says you have 6 chairs under $150 available for pickup in store. He then says the speal ( all the sale chairs are sold out blah blah ) anyways one chair was $69.99 I said perfect I will grab that if there's not a nicer one for a bit more. He absolutely didn't want to help me, / tell me anymore pricing for any better chair, simply I had to say hey man I'm here to buy a chair and you aren't at all helping me. His response was " yes we close in 2 minutes ) hahaha unbelievable I had to tell him how bad of service if he was giving in the most respectful way possible and he basically said yeah I know I'm not helping do you want the chair or not hahaha my gosh. I dea with customers spending a lot more and a lot less money than $100 and if I need to stay 5 minutes longer than I will to help a customer out. I guess this is what's wrong with this generation now. Someone would gladly take over your position if it's so tough for you man.... read more

Sure, I'll "review" anything...I'm just looking for a reason to write my little stories. Office Depot falls firmly into the "anything" category and earns its four little office supply stars by being: * Reasonably close to my home...Yay! * Inexpensive...When the Beautiful Carin's laptop coughed its cookies, I shopped around and found the best deal for a decent replacement at...that's right...Office Depot...$50 less than Fry's or Tiger Direct and nearly $100 less than Best Buy for the exact same computer! * Friendly...although there only seemed to be a couple of OD employees in the store, they were very helpful and got me a new box with a minimum of muss, fuss and cash (OK, not cash...VISA...who uses cash anymore?). I picked up some ink for my fountain pens while I was there. I miss the old days when I could "liberate" office supplies from the corporate overlords who held my leash, as a way to supplement the meager stipend I was given for my labors...these days the only one holding my leash is me...and I count every paper clip. read more

2 stars because the employee I received help from was nice. This store is horrible, very little inventory selections. Feels gross, musty & muggy in there. I feel bad the employees have to be there in those conditions. I'm not sure why I even came instead of Staples. I'll only return if I check online that they have something in stock I need. read more

This location has to be a gold mine, being located to so many businesses. But for some reason, there almost never seems to be anyone working here, (and this is mid-day during the week), and a manager will say "I'll ring you up over here in a second). Strange. I've been to some of the other Office Depots around Orange County, but this one by far is my favorite. I had to make some double sided copies that needed to line up perfectly. Stuart is the only person that can do the job right. I went to another Office Depot and the clerk claimed their machine could handle cardstock double sided without jamming. And of course it jammed like I said it would. And the backside didn't print out well. hmmm... Back to the Campus Office Depot. Not only do they have awesome copy/print specialist Stuart, but their guillotine paper cutter is the best one EVER. if you mess up and need to shave off a thin hair from the paper, whooosh, done. The area they have set aside for copy assembly, etc, is nice and roomy. And you can relocate the paper cutter to the conveniently placed table where there's a chair just for your comfort. Oh and did I mention free coffee/tea samples? Yeaaah buddy. read more

Everyone is always friendly and committed to getting customers what they need. When we lost our local store of course I was disappointed but I do drive 8 miles for their brand of service. After the mishap at the Alton store, I was about ready to write off Office Depot completely, but we really liked one of the chairs there for my husband. And this is how it should have gone down at the first store. We walked in, were greeted, Carlos approached us in the chair section, I asked about the $100 coupon the red haired guy at the other store mentioned, Carlos confirmed it and we walked to the cash register. Carlos radioed the information to the cashier who rung us up and Carlos brought the chair out and helped my husband load it in the car. Thank you Carlos. read more

This place has awesome customer service. I went in to get resumes printed and to pick up a few other items. When I walked into the store, I was greeted immediately. The printing services desk was a bit busy so I went to look for the other items. On the way back into the store another associate asked me what I was looking for and then provided me with directions. While I was trying to decide on pens, another associate asked me if I had any questions. Everyone was very polite. I went to have the resumes printed and I was helped by Heather McC. Heather was extremely patient and helpful as I looked for the files on my flash drive. She also helped me with printing additional letters. She was extremely professional and very helpful. While I was waiting to check out, another employee, Amir checked on me to see if I was being helped. This was just a routine errand for me today but thanks to the excellent staff at this location, it turned into a very pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend the store to anyone. read more

I went here today, and this Office Depot had a big selection of everything. There were lots of good deals. Best of all, there was great customer service. Heidi helped me and was efficient, kind and gave excellent customer service. This store has a bigger selection than others. So I had water damage to my Mac and I needed help transferring all my data to a flash drive. I had called a few other places that were charging a crazy price and then I found out about this place. David helped me through everything and he was very friendly and patient. He managed to recover everything I needed and answered my questions. At this location, they had a clearance event offering 10% off all clearance items.. The majority of the items that were on clearance were display models of things. There is a difference between what is on sale and what is on clearance. I bought some office supplies that were on sale. The price was about the same at Staples so it was the normal market value even though it said it was on sale. Despite my indecision for what to get, it got done properly. It wasn't on clearance, though, so no additional 10% off. There weren't a lot of people in the store so it was pretty quiet. read more

I made a purchase on their website to pick it up in-store. When I arrived, I asked one of the employees at the front cash registers where do I go for online order pick-up. He pointed and told me where to go, something along the lines of "by the shelf over there." So I'm thinking it was in the back corner of the store because he was pointing that direction. No, it was 30 feet away from him. There was a wire shelf unit with all the online orders. I didn't know what to do, so i waited there thinking someone was going to come attend to me. He said, "right there," because I was standing in front of it. I asked, "do I just grab it?" He responded yeah and to bring it to him. Really? I had to grab my own item off the shelf and bring it to him to the cash register. I found that really odd, why would the area be so readily available to the public to take? Everywhere else I go, it's in a "secure" holding area since the products have been paid for. Anyway, they still get 4 stars due to them having my product at an awesome price. read more

I work around the corner from this OD and have used their print/copy service for many things. The quality is always decent but the service sucks in the sense that they never know who I am, what my order is, or where my order is. I almost always get deer-in-the-headlights look and then they scurry to find my order, looking everywhere. I ordered 3 canvas prints last week. They were supposed to be ready a couple days ago. I just drove there to pick them up and was told that they are ready at another OD location miles away. I'm done with this location and probably OD all together. read more

I was completely distraught when my AT&T cable modem wasn't connecting to my tv, when I returned from a trip out of town. AT&T tried to assist via phone but said I needed a new cable. Not wanting to endure the snobby techies at a place like Best Buy, I went to my local Office Depot. Eureka! They have a new desk right when you walk in, to assist pretty much with anything tech - phones, computers and lucky for me, my modem. I will never come here again, even if it is for something as easy as pens or paper. I literally live right across street from here and have made the mistake of coming here a few times. I guess I didn't learn the first 3 times right! For starters the employees have no knowledge of just about anything you could ask them. so, if you still come here anyways you had better know exactly what you need! The first time I came here I needed to get some printing done (I had designed some Halloween cards for friends and family). The girl literally ignored me and when I finally said something to her, her so called "manager" sent her to go do something else. She told him she was helping me and asked him to finish helping me. Do you think he did? Nope! He looked at me and then walked away! She finally came back and helped me, but she had no clue on what to do with the computer to get it ready for print. I think they only know how to do your basic 1 sided 8.5 x 11 prints. I said I would never come back, but I did. The second time I came here, I again came to get some printing done. This time I had designed some invites for my sons first birthday party. The so called "manager" was there at the printing center and again he ignored me. Finally the girl came to help me, but right when she did the manager told her she had a personal phone call. She literally sat there and contemplated whether to help me or take the call! The entire time she helped me she was in a hurry and rude because she wanted to talk to her friend. When it came to arranging the image on the paper she was totally lost! I needed it double sided and you could tell I just spoke a completely different language. I literally had to turn the computer and do it myself! The manager then proceeded to make comments on how Office Depot is getting ripped off on their prints because you only pay by the page, not whether it's double sided or not. WHAT!?!? To sum it up, they were horrible so I left. The third and final time my fiance was with me and let's just say that she is a manager and was completely shocked on how unprofessional and rude they were, especially the manager. SO, we just left and will NEVER COME BACK AGAIN! To add a little humor to this, we went to another Office Depot to get the invititations made and told the employee about our experiences there. She agreed with us and said she was supposed to work there, but would rather drive the extra long distance than work at that store. LOL!!
