Find out when "Jesse" is working because she is knowledgeable, helpful & straightforward with timing. I think she's a Manager. Although I live closer to a Kinkos & Staples print center, I would rather drive an extra 20 minutes to get service by this Office Depot. The store was recently remodeled or new staging, & the aisles look well stocked/organized with standard office supplies. I'm also going to mention that a few years ago, I had a bizarre incident where an aggressive elderly man started verbally attacking me while in the checkout line. The staff quickly took action & escorted the person away. An employee offered to walk me to my car because the situation was so intense. I have been to this store in the past and it's been fine, however a standout for me on my recent printing job was Joe. I ordered something to be laminated and when I went to pick it up, I looked at it and asked Joe a question. He informed me that if I was going to cut the page I had had laminated it would not hold. He then went ahead and re-laminated And cut my project in a way that worked for me. He did this all as a kind gesture and nothing more. Had the worst experience. I had made a purchase with my debit card and cancelled my order on the same day. I was told by Yasmine that I would be getting my refund within two to three business days on my debit card. Three days later when I called to ask about my refund . I was told I would have to wait up to 3 weeks to get my refund by check it showed my payment as cash. I called customer service and they couldn't do anything to fix this issue. Benjamin at the checkout register has a really friendly attitude. So did a manager but regretfully I did not catch her name. These two people made my day today. I went to return a laptop which I ordered on line for curbside pick up. The HP laptop refused to let me load a printer driver and kept telling me it was not an HP software (duh). After many hours I gave up. Bad laptop! I forgot my receipt but these two worked patiently to try to locate my order for the return. We tried my credit card, my tel number and my email address. None of them found the order (system issue not their fault). I left with my laptop but found the e-mail order confirmation which had the barcode, want back inside the store and did the return. Jessie is the best! Someone else helped me - I wish I got her name but every single person here is SO helpful and so kind. I got printing done at cvs and staples and they both cut off half of what I needed printed, plus it took hours for them to get to it. Office Depot literally did it on the spot and it's perfect! Even on better, thicker, and nicer paper and absolutely no cut offs. Only coming here from now on. Plus is it's also a really easy location to get in and out of. I always go to this Office Depot but this was the last time I went in there. I don't like how they operate. Manager was helping me out with printing job. My actual job was a booklet for my office - he literal charge me $21 for booklet that was having blank pages. I told him he needs to redo it because I can't have empty pages he wanted to charge me again another $21. I came to this store looking to purchase a specific item. I had a picture and a sku number. The manager was on the sales floor talking on the phone. I waited until he was done and asked if he could show me where the item was, he never said hello or anything. He walked me to an end cap and pointed. That's it. The item was out of stock. I went back to him a second time and asked if someone could look for the item, perhaps it was in the stock room. He mumbled under his breath as I approached him. After asking my question he directed an associate to help me. The associate walked over to the end cap, scanned a label and said 'it's out of stock' then he simply walked away. I chose an alternate item myself because they offered ZERO suggestions. Then I went to the only open register. I was directed to a closed register where someone did eventually help me check out. No thank you or nothing. The first person who helped me was a manager but I did not get his name. The type of products Office Depot sells can be bought at staples or amazon, maybe even Walmart. I will never give Office Depot another dime of my money and it is completely because of this horrible service. read more

I took three full shredded papers in plastic bags to to them in their recycling bins and they charged me for the weight as if I am asking for papers to be shredded. I uploaded a file to be printed as bookmarks and found the website to be very difficult to use. I needed to call the technical support line twice and use the live chat feature. The people on the phone were as helpful as they could be but even they were unable to see the final product that was being ordered, so it was a gamble when I finally placed the order. I felt very nervous about this because it was a memorial project for my friend and I was ordering it for her to pick up at her Office Depot location, which is three hours from where I live. Allen called me from the printing department a few hours after I placed the order. The order was already printed but there were some issues that came up before they could be laminated because the website didn't allow me to specify the necessary cuts. Allen talked me through all of the options and was very knowledgable and compassionate about the situation. Jessie, the manager, was able to speed the process along and she took care of the issue completely. Even though they had to make almost 150 extra cuts by hand, they still had the order ready on time, which felt like a miracle! Allen and Jessie really went above and beyond to help me out which is amazing because this project was very important to me. My friend was able to pick up the memorial bookmarks in time for her Father's service and she said they were perfect. Thanks you two! read more

This place is super hidden I was in the parking lot confused as could be I had driven from UCI and my gps told me to turn and I went in where home consignment is but took the first right when you're suppose to take the second in the lot PSA just in case you feel lost. One person was doing the bare minimum and didn't seem to be patient, but thankfully without a bear she came along and took over. She's very detailed oriented and catered to every need we had in our custom printing project. She even came up with better ideas then we had going in and saw to it that when we left we had it exactly the way we envisioned it. More employees are needed like this in all businesses. She's been there for years and has helped me in the past, I remember telling the manager deliberately before I left how wonderful she was. This employee makes this place stand out. Joseph the manager took care of me as I was looking for a large format printer for my office. I'm so used to going to retail outlets for electronics and it seems I'm always confronted by people that don't know what they're doing or anything about the products. It can be very frustrating. Needed a white board for my office and a young man asked me the minute I walked in, if he could help me - he was very nice. I then looked for paper 8 x 14 and thought $17 was too much so I went to check out. The whole time I am pinching out the nose section of my mask, no biggie just a little air - face still covered, elastic behind both ears. The girl BEHIND PLEXI GLASS ALSO WEARING A MASK WONT SERVE ME unless I "unpinch my nose" - I say no, I can't breath otherwise, I'm buying this. She proceeds to ENSURE I am TREATED LIKE A LEPER, while she pumps several times DURING THIS CASHLESS TRANSACTION. Then before I can get my card in my purse - Grabs and SPRAYS all over the key pad, so quick to MAKE SURE I SEE HER that she grabbed a piece of a tissue to do it. LOL Went straight to STAPLES in the next block -- the paper I needed was $7 - $10 cheaper and I told the STAPLES girl and she said "Imagine, some people go all day without human contact and that's how you are greeted" She was right curly girl was my first contact that day and LAST VISIT to the already barren store. read more

The printing work was done very well, quickly, and at a good price. It involved uploading four pdfs onto their website. The site I found difficult to navigate, nothing like Amazon's straightforward user interface. After I finally got two files uploaded, the site hung and I had to close the tab. When I re-logged in I still couldn't upload the other files. I finally had to go in using a different browser to complete the uploads. A very frustrating and time-consuming process that should have taken minutes took over an hour. read more
