I received a cover and binding service at this Office Depot location; however, part of the material was reprinted with lower ink quality, resulting in visible inconsistencies in the final project. When I attempted to address the issue, I was assisted by Kim, who was in charge at the time, and the interaction was uncomfortable. She appeared impatient, spoke in a raised tone to the point that I had to ask her to lower her voice and interrupted my attempts to explain the situation, even in front of other customers.I asked to speak with a manager and also requested her name. In an arrogant manner, she stated her name was Kim, informed me that the manager would only be available the following day, and even spelled her name in front of other customers, which made the situation more embarrassing.I would like to note that the initial service when I dropped off my order the day before, assisted by a very kind employee, was professional. However, this later experience with Kim was quite disappointing. I explained to Kim that there was no need to treat me that way, as customers should not be addressed in such a manner. I hope this feedback contributes to improvements in both service quality and customer care at this location. read more

Bogus Discount. They boast of a MILITARY DISCOUNT BUT EXCLUDE All of the most bought items in the store, such as anything electronic! This Office Depot has gone down tremendously in the last few years and its customer service definitely shows. I went to print out a few copies and one the two copiers was down the line was long needed help cause the copier wasn't printing out correctly. And associate name Miss Beatrice at the copy center was very rude and unprofessional. She acts like someone is bothering her she definitely isn't a people person her body language that she portrays is definitely is the proof. I don't recommend going here at all. Looks like the ups store or fedex kinkos will be my new place or staples I'll drive the extra distance then deal with the attitude. She's needs a job where she works by herself and not the public. read more

Great Service, Great prices, Close to home. I went in for Printer ink cartridges, Sean was helpful, informative and gave me a few options. Sean Also asked me if I wanted to join their rewards club which would credit my account if I recycled my ink cartridges. I normally throw them in the trash but if I'm going to get an in store gift card, it gives me every incentive to want to recycle. Office Depot is located on Rivers Avenue near all major highways between Target and David's Bridal. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. I recommend this store for all of your school supplies, printing needs and office supplies. read more

Just went into the store to make copies. The man at the counter looked at me said "are you sending us an email?" I replied "I just did". He turned around said nothing and left me standing there while he spoke to another coworker with his back to me. After standing there for 3 minutes, I walked out. I know it's hard to find good coworkers in Charleston, but WOW! I guess I know why there was no one in the store. I used Office Depot for everything! Not anymore. Staples or FEX EX here I come. I was shopping for a wide format all-in-one printer and was looking at an Epsom printer priced at $300. I was approached by an associate who told me that I needed to wear a mask to shop there. I asked why since there is no mask law in N. Chas. and she said it was a store policy set my the manager. I stated that I responsibly distance and there was no one within 200 feet of me and I prefer to not wear a mask as is my right in this city. She left offering no help, and no one approached me for over 5 minutes to see if I had any questions (which I did). So I left. I guess the employee(s) decided that I deserved no service without a mask. I was really disappointed that I was at home without a printer and decided to call the OD store manager with my concerns. I talked with an IT associate and expressed my disappointment about the "no service without a mask Policy" and was dumbfounded when I was told that was not their policy. They are supposed to ask me to wear a mask but not require it. I suggested they hold an employee meeting for a little COVID 19 training. He asked that I return to the store, but I decided otherwise. So here I was without a printer and some unanswered questions about a particular printer that caught my eye for $299. I went to the Epsom web site and called the number, talked to a sales associate who quickly answered all my questions about scanning and printing special wide-format documents.I bought the printer for the same price as Office Depot with free 2-day shipping. I order a desk from the online store. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I called the Go.Depot customer service to return the desk and was told it would be picked up from my home. On the day of the pick-up, no one came to pick up at the appointed time. I made several calls to customer service to no avail. Finally, I was told that if I returned it to a local store, I would get a refund there. Upon taking it to a local store, they told me that they weren't authorized to give me a refund. I had to go through Go.Depot. Go.Depot told me that the return was verified and I could expect a refund within 7 to 10 business days. Upon waiting the required time, no refund was made. There is always a extremely long line in the printing section. I understand it being busy what I don't understand is why they don't have more then 1 or 2 people working back there. Then I get here today to pick up prints and they changed the hours due to Halloween. It's a MONDAY businesses still open and people still work regardless if it's Halloween!
