Rude rude rude employees. How can you be in customer service when you give customers attitude and don't bother to explain anything to them? Came in to buy a paper shredder and had a 15% off coupon. The guy said I couldn't use it, but refused to explain to me why it couldn't be used. I had a bad experience here last time too, so this was the last time I will be here. The customer service was quick to respond to my unusual request to hold 10 sheets of blush pink card stock. When I picked it up, apparently Kevin thought neon pink and blush were the same shade. In fact, it turns out there wasn't the color I was looking for at all that I could buy by the sheet.. but I found it in one of their aisle. OD has a lot of variety in pens and office stock. Came in at 4:15pm to have "8" set of 5 pages bound for mtg....was told cannot complete until 3pm the next day..... unreal. Employee was on head set complaining about stuff, while another worker or manager walked around on his head set complaining about a CO worker not getting work done and blaming him... I waited 5 minutes before being greeted, but both employees had time to talk about CO workers not bothered by my presence.... Never come to this store again... and store was beyond slow.. maybe 5 customers inside... Crazy.... Drove 6 minutes down the road to Fed X. Bound my copies in 10 minutes....done read more

It's the big-box of the office supply chain, and I prefer this to Haggerty's other--Office Max. The staff are friendly and do go out of their way. This time of year, they even have software to help with the taxes side of death-and-taxes, proving that you really can find 90% of what you want to buy on Haggerty Road. read more

(Full Disclosure - I used to work for the corporation and I am not a fan, but that's another story you'll be able to read about at a later time.) I LOVE stores that allow me to place my order online and then pick up the item in the store. And though I usually shop at Office Max, they don't offer said service - leaving me to shop at OD. Being a pen snob, I am very particular about my writing utensils, so I was happy to see that OD still carried one of my favorite brands. I placed the order online because it showed as being in stock in the store and I toodled off for my pick-up when I received my confirmation email. I arrived at the counter, no record of my order. I found someone who worked in the store and we walked up and down the aisle and were unable to find the pen. I had to leave that night - empty-handed and inkless in Northville. Not a good thing. But what is worse? I gave them TWO more chances and had both of the orders fall through, so I am officially done. If you want to go there to shop, at least you'll know what they have in stock and you can leave with it then. But I had been told that sometimes the online information doesn't correspond with their in-store inventory - so I find no benefit to that service. read more

I appreciated the extra help an Office Depot employee gave to me today. He was a young gentleman. with gold rimmed glasses. who looked for a Canon printer that was not in stock. However, he did find me a floor model and looked in the backroom for printer plug. This employee helped me find ink that corresponded to the printer. I valued his humor and kindness. read more

I recently had some drop-in printing done in the print center here. I was greeted by pleasant employees, who helped me with paper selection, image lay-out, and speedy printing. Employees on the floor and at the registers are helpful and efficient, and the store is clean and adequately stocked. read more

Wow, I have never been this blown away by service at an office store to write a review until now. I had a bad experience at other stores looking for a specific external hard drive for macs that was supposed to be on sale. The second I walked into this store, I was greeted by the manager who asked what I was looking for. I told her and she pointed me to the exact aisle and told me that the electronics dept. employee would meet me there. Sure enough, by time I walked the 100 feet, he was there to greet me. He showed me where the drive was and even looked around to make sure there weren't any similar products for cheaper. At checkout, the woman at the counter was very friendly, too. This is a place the I will find myself at again. They know the value of customer service. read more

I have used the printing services at this location for several years and have always had pleasant experiences. The past 2 times I have been in this store were a nightmare. The "printing supervisor" Tanieka should NOT be in a customer service role. She is rude, unfriendly and literally threw my Zip drive at me with her better than everyone attitude. I will never step foot in this store again and I suggest you also travel to a different, more friendly printing place for your printing needs. read more

I use their print shop services often. It's always a total crapshoot at this location. Sometimes you get a clerk who knows the printing/copying business and is helpful; half the time you don't. Equally importantly, sometimes you get a clerk/mgr. who genuinely tries to help you and other times you get someone who makes you feel as if you are an interruption to their busy day. Today was one of the latter. The first clerk had a decent attitude but had no idea what she was doing. She finally got her boss who was quite competent but completely made me feel as if I was interrupting her very important busy day. It is so frustrating; these folks are choosing to work retail. Print/copy services mean just about every job is a little different. They're (presumably) the experts and many of their customers are not; we need their expertise. ...I can understand a new employee not knowing all the in and outs of the job like a veteran; but the attitude! That doesn't cost anything to get right; and whether it's your first week or you're 20th year on the job; you decide what attitude you're going to show to your customers. read more

I always go to THIS Office Depot. This is the best location, and the employees really know their stuff. They are always willing to help, and they seem like the genuinely care about their jobs. Allison at the copy center always does my printing jobs for my business, and I have always been pleased with her work. I visit her so frequently, I almost consider her a part of my staff! I have tried going to other office supply stores, but Office Depot is always the best and they have the best prices too. read more

Poor service within their logistics department, and customer service online. I placed an order back on 11/28/18 for some office furniture. I have still yet to receive it. Although, the tracking information online says it was delivered. Kind of odd that they have no signature for the delivery, and I still don't have my office furniture. I feel as though I am getting the run around with Customer Service. As they keep telling me that it will be expedited the next day. Supposedly, there have been four deliveries made so far. Yet, I still have no office furniture. So here it is 12/12/18, and now I am waiting to hear back from Customer Service yet again. To see when I will actually receive my delivery. I probably am either going to cancel my order. Or if I do actually receive my furniture in the next day. Accept delivery, and never do business with Office Depot ever again. This has got to be one of the worst Customer Service/Logistics issues I have ever dealt with. That's pretty bad considering I am a Logistics Manager myself, and have seen a lot of logistic nightmares. I would suggest avoiding online orders of products that need to be delivered from Office Depot/OfficeMax. I know I will never do business with them again. read more
