DUMP!! They have very little, and once I found what I needed, which was almost out of stock, I waited in line for at least 10 mins as the woman in front checking out had some card issue. I looked around and there were two employees standing around talking. I asked if either knew how to use a cash register and one said yes and wandered over. After he let out a burp he started to scan the 3 items I was buying. Boy bad representation and no wonder everyone just goes on Amazon to buy everything today. This business is the antithesis of awesome. It made me want to turn around and walk out as soon as I entered the store. It feels like an old Costco building that somebody is trying to unload questionable merchandise out of. So it's half full, with an almost sterile feeling to it, and with employees that ignore you at all costs. However I was in from out of town to help my folks move and needed more boxes. I had picked some up previously at Walmart and run out. My mom said their prices were good here so I continued on to check them out. They were listed at about five times what I paid at the other place! I turned around and walked out muttering obscenities like an old man under my breath. read more

Only takes the bad attitude of one to make for a terrible experience. The Santa Fe store has been in a downward spiral spin for some time because of poor management. It's going to eventually meet its demise. Employees like the one l encounterd behind the desk asking for a certain item acted as if l was bothering him barking out they can be found against the back wall without clear directions. He needs to find other employment elsewhere if he can't be congenial with people. People like him are only going to expedite the failure of Office Depot. read more

I needed some help with a camera battery. The young man said he would be right back after he walked another customer to the front. He never came back. As I was leaving, he came out from behind the cashiers station, saw me & turned around. There were only two people on the floor. I bought a FlexPro Momentum office chair in August of 2022, and paid Office Depot to assemble it for me. This morning while streaming, my chair broke in half. I brought it into the office, and the awesome GM Charles Jackson called customer service on my behalf to make it right. Even though it wasn't *technically* Office Depot's responsibility, Charles helped anyways and got me a replacement at no charge. 5 stars for Charles and his customer service. -1 star for Office Depot corporate policy that they aren't responsible for helping with broken products purchased through their platform. If a company is willing to be "middle man" for purchasing a product, they should also be "middle man" for restoring a customers broken experience. read more

I usually come here to print off documents and it's usually easy to do. It's easier to just go to t he printers and print the documents yourself than have the employees do it in the print center. Their office and electronic selection is better than Walmart too. read more

I went into Office Depot angry (aka, really mad!) about my 1.5-yr-old Epson ET-2850's inability to print at the bare minimum black and white word docs or PDFs. The clerk called George Rodriguez to help me. I told him the problem--the Epson was only printing about 1-in-10 lines; he led me to the test desk. He plugged in my printer. I plugged in my computer. it's an ink-jet, he said, not a laser, so you have to print at least once a week or the nozzles clog. Uh, no. I print documents about every 10 days. He showed me how to get on the "maintenance" button, showed me what the printer thought the problem was, and set up the first nozzle-head cleaning. After the "do-not-turn-off your- computer-while-the-printer-cleans" eleven minutes later we tried again. Then ANOTHER eleven minutes--at least it printed the black text-lines. After 33, then 66 minutes of cleaning I got yellow and black. Yeah, no. It's not going to work, George told me how to get a refund from Epson on my computer (bummer, it's 1.5 years old and the guarantee is for 12 months), and then about the option of how to get on a YouTube to clean the specific clogged head--he also reminded me to open the maintenance corner to empty the ink-cleaning well. Yeah, I was ready to leave. And I now have an Epson black-and-white only printer. Not George Rodriguez' fault--he spent more than an hour gratis trying to help. I don't recommend an Epson 2950 unless you print a lot of stuff. Remember to recycle all the wasted paper, by the way. read more

I am designing a new office. I called this store in the morning and was told that I could pick up a catalog of their office furniture - desks, cabinets, bookcases, etc. I wanted the components of each style along with measurement so I could lay out the room on my computer. The person I spoke with told me sure they had them. I gave him my name and told him I would be in to pick it up in the afternoon. When I arrived, I was told that they had no such catalog and suggested that I was mistaken. I spoke with the afternoon manager who was no help at all. I really don't understand how shops like this stay in business. They wonder why we shop with Amazon. The loss to them from my wallet will run in the thousands. read more

High prices, very poorly stocked, dirty, and totally disorganized. There are always open boxes everywhere and abandoned ladders and stockroom carts blocking the aisles. What little there is on the shelves is often in the wrong place, damaged, or already opened. How can a relatively new store already look this bad? It always feels like you're shopping at a going-out-of-business sale, except for the outrageous prices. You can find better office supplies at a yard sale! read more

Home delivery is the worst! Over a dozen emails and at least 6 phone calls and I still don't have a refund for a May 31st order: 1) Ran out of time - (guess their day ends even if orders aren't delivered) 2) No one home - (not true) 3) Delivered - (definitely not true) 4) Canceled by Office Depot; refund requested; items re-ordered 5) Re-order AND canceled order both delivered 6) Canceled order returned but original refund request canceled by OD 7) So it is June 21; still no refund and every time I call, explanations have to start from the beginning! On travel I ran into laptop issues. I needed an external mouse. The young lady working was helpful knowledgeable . I had to go back and the gentleman working was just as helpful. I was lucky because the mouse was on sale. They are expensive but with a sale and good friendly service it was ok. read more

This store should be shut down. The associates lack the customer service skills to be in retail. My print job was completely botched and they tried to say I ordered it wrong. When they realized it was their error they printed another set without another word to me. One associate was more concerned about taking a lunch break than helping the customers standing in front of him. Go anywhere else, they don't deserve your business. read more

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. We put in an online order that said it would be completed by 6pm. At 3pm, we called to make sure it would be done by 6 and were assured over the phone that it would be done. At 6, we went into the store to get our items. They said they hadn't started it yet but would be done by the end of the day. Ten minutes before closing, we went again and were told that they were still working on the project. At that time, I became very upset with how the expectations kept being told to us and not met and tried to express frustration with that. I continued to be met with a lack of helpfulness and lack of trying to make things right as well as an overall lack of apology or regret. I could have easily been de-escalated in my frustrations but instead I continued to escalate because I was being met with the blank stares of incompetent people who had not been equipped by their manager to make things right with customers. read more

Cannot recommend buying online for pick up in the store. I thought it would be a time saver. I had to wait at the pick up stand for someone to help me. Then I thought we were done; however, we had to wait in the checkout line so they could note in their computer that we picked it up despite already paying for my items. Very annoying because I had to wait behind customers who entered the store after me to check out at the register and I believe the gentleman was the manager. read more

They have signs in the store that say they will match competitors prices but they don't when you call them on it. I have used this location many times before to print documents and make copies. No more. I was there on Thursday, doing just that. I finished and got in line to pay at the copies cash register. Someone was in front of me and someone came to stand behind me in line. A short small man with a supervisor's shirt asked me to go to the other cash register, I said I preferred to wait in the line I was in. He touched my arm and said please go to the other cash register. I began following and change my mind and said no, I would wait because it was a shorter wait. By the time I turned around the woman that had been behind me was being served. The cashier where I was standing was on the phone because of a coupon that person had. It was obviously a long wait, I told the jr. manager, you see I would have been served already if I had stayed in line. He said, no that lady was in front of you. I said no she wasn't that's why I didn't want to come to this line. He said well she's ordering an expensive stamp. I said I come here all the time, I probably spend more money than she does on her stamp. He said no it's expensive. He said, the customer is always right but I'm not going to argue with you about it. He opened another cash register and let me pay, which took about one minute. He was rude. He only made me change lines because the woman with the stamp looked like she had a lot of money. Even though she was behind me in line, he wanted her to be served first. He was Hispanic, but so am I. I felt like he thought I was less than the other person. I usually get okay service, sometimes the clerks don't know or don't have enough motivation to help the right way. This place lacks morale. read more
