I used to shop at office depot 15 years ago and was shocked when I went in today. The floors are filthy, shelves poorly stocked and the very few staff were inattentive to the few customers. Gone were the sharp dressed sales people that greeted you as you came in and directed you to what you were looking for. Staff today looked overwhelmed and undertrained. Where is management? Back in the Kinko's days, I could go into a busy store and get enlarged 24x36 copies in maybe 5 minutes for 5-10 dollars. Nowadays, in this empty store, 16x20 copies are an overnight job with an "enlargement fee." read more

Ordered online for store pick up. Needed to return the item and spent 1 hour on the help chat trying to get a return processed so I could take the item back to the store. Nope can't do that. I have to box it up and take it to the UPS store. An hour of my time wasted for certain. The last time I had something delivered by ODP, they took it to the wrong address, and the driver didn't speak English, so couldn't be directed to the right address. The other people took it (knowing my name) and brought it over to me. Not great at all. Trying to shop local, but I've been taught a major lesson and will go back to Amazon. read more

I needed to get a new shipment of labels for my business. The last time I ordered these, it took about 3 hours in the store because the previous vendor had changed and Office Depot didn't have the file anymore, so it all had to be recreated. Today I went in to repeat the order, and after 40 minutes in line, I was told that they were unable to find my labels even after searching under my name, my company name, my phone number, or even my wife's phone number. The staff here is always super nice (although I miss LeAnne)! The copy center is super professional and they always help me to get my things printed out for school and work in a consistent and timely manner. Low on office supplies usually and never can find a sales floor person in the entire store! And yes, the restrooms are nasty! Employees too lazy to sign me up for their "rewards" program. Lazy employees (including manager) proudly admitting to it! Very disgusted with this! Found out they're all in the back of the store taking naps! So if you burglars want to rob this place it would be very easy to do...just go in the back of the store!!! And the lazy Visalia cops won't to a damn thing about it!!! Came here near closing time to buy a couple of items. I was helped by Employee # 653180 (no name on the receipt). Very stone-faced. No positive greeting. No eye contact. Only reason I write this review is because the majority of the time I come here that's how most cashiers in this store are. Management needs to change their attitude soon. read more

Wanted to charge me $2.99 + $0.25 for each additional page that I wanted to scan into a PDF. What??? I told them that my document was 800+ pages and asked for a price break and they told me no. Really? $200+ for scanned image? No paper or ink being used and yet they charge you as if it were. Save yourself time and money and go to Staples. Eric at the Copy Center over there saw it my way and only charged me $6.99 for the service. Come on Office Depot get with the program!! read more

Worst delivery service ever I bought a computer desk and a chair to go with the desk not only did they get my address wrong there delivery service is free but it sucks they ask you for your phone number don't call you to tell you there coming they assign you a delivery date but don't come threw the delivery hours they scheduled you for they come when ever they want any time well I never received my desk or chair I was refunded and now I have to go purchase them again and pick them up myself read more

I think I've decided to make this place my go-to for all our business and supply needs. I like that the employees are nice. Also they are around if you do need to ask a question but don't hover and aren't pushy, one of my pet peeves. In addition, I've been able to find all the business supplies I've need. I wish zero stars was an option. I purchased a new printer and at the same time purchased 2 replacement ink cartridges that the sales guy directed me to. After my ink ran low for the first time ,went to replace the cartridges and found they sold me the wrong cartridges. Home Depot would not EXCHANGE for the correct cartridges without a receipt. The woman not helping me at the counter found several credit card transactions that showed I shopped there for my office supplies, but since I paid cash she would not make an even exchange. SO very disappointed in Home Depot's return policy. I understand not refunding monies without a receipt, but when a regular customer wants an even exchange? Needless to say I will purchase my office supplies elsewhere from here forward. read more

Friendly service, sometimes can be a little too strong and I just want to be left alone and browse. I dig the industrial look of the place, I HATE where the store is located, terrible area. Plenty of office furniture and home supplies to chose from. I come here first before going to the "other" office store. read more

My shopping experience at this Office Depot has always been good. I consider Office Depot's ink rewards program one of the best around. I have been able to find great specials such as Buy two, and get one free. The prices on technology such as printers are competitive with the big discount retailers. I am a big price shopper, and I usually end up making my purchase at Office Depot. If you have time check the clearance isles in the back of the store near the restrooms. I was amazed in how great the customer service in tech was. Josh was a great help answered all our questions and went on and beyond. He was real honest and wasn't after my money and that's something I really appreciate now in days! Went there a few days ago to print some things after horrid service from the Fed Ex office store and the service was great. Helpful employees and all. Went back this morning and the story was different. Two of the most unprofessional careless women were working this morning at the print station. I tried to email the documents I wanted printed. They say you typically need Wifi to do so so I signed into their Wifi network and it didn't go through. The older woman there just said "oh it hasn't gone through yet", didn't even check the computer just said that and then sat back down on her butt. I asked her again to please check the computer and her response was "the documents aren't there yet," without even looking. I then asked a younger woman to help me, and when I said I tried both Wifi and data they wouldn't go through... "Oh I don't know then," she said. Frustrated I asked and said "could you please ask someone?" "Oh my tech is in the middle of an appointment, it will be a while." Frustrated again, I said "never mind. I will take my business elsewhere." On the way out I asked the guy at the front counter where the manager was and he said I was talking to her. I asked if there was a manager with a higher authority level because I wanted to file a complaint against her. He said I could call the customer service number to file my complaint. I then told him I felt the store manager was unhelpful and he said "well I think she is." Well I am the customer and I say she isn't and you should listen to my concern instead of defending your incompetent lazy manager, and giving me your smart-alecked arrogant comment. I called that number and complained, then went up the street to Staples who helped me, and got my prints for cheaper. Will now go there. Shame on Office Depot they had good service at one point but the weekend staff sucks and don't care about their customers. Go to Staples instead. read more

Went there last week looking for a couple things didn't find them figured I was going to leave empty handed and on the way out I noticed some Batman figures on clearance wtf?!? They have Batman stuff?!? From the animated series even! So I grabbed the Batman and Harley Quinn figure the Batman single figure and took off I seen they had a Superman figure as well from the animated series I didn't grab it until 2 days later (I debated on it) and let well skip forward to yesterday I got a new iPhone yay! Most of the day was a headache got the lightening jack to headphone adapter for my PayPal card swiper come to find out it don't work for some stupid reason has to take the other one back and wait for them to call my name to get my money back when they had ppl standing around doing nothing smh..so figured I would treat myself to some new headphones so I went there to get some Bluetooth headphones they had some skullcandys on sale for about half off on the way out I noticed a spider-man statue in the clearance section seen the price under it 21.99! Holy crap! Grabbed it and went to counter the guy at the counter rang it up and it came up 35.99 I told him what the price said under it and just said never mind quickly without even batting an eye he called someone over and did a price adjustment on it! Finally someone made my day! Didn't get his name but all I can say is Spider-Man and Batman weren't the only hero's in Office Depot! Will definitely shop there again thanks!! read more
