I have been coming to this UPS store for the past 2 years and must save I absolutely have had fantastic experiences every time. The workers are always friendly and helpful. Even on busy days they are still in great spirits and do the best they can to hurry and help people without making you feel rushed. For the holiday this year they have been sweet enough to set up a drink and cookie station in the store. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. This was my 3rd visit to this location this week for business needs. The staff is extremely unknowledgeable about general and basic understanding of the SOPs - when the attendants reach out to the manager on duty (blond, younger) she spoke to them as if they were dumb. Extremely disrespectful to her staff. They were many guests in line waiting to be served as well, so this manager what not only disrespectful to the staff, but literally to the customers that were in the store as well. My recommendation is this store needs a very quick visit from the district or corporate manager to address. read more

The manager at UPS store #3921, Alesia Andrade, has went above and beyond to help me with a damage claim. I'm in South Carolina, she's in my hometown of Hanford, CA. But she was with me all the way on this journey! My item was damaged beyond repair and I had insured the package. My claim was denied a couple of times but Ms. Andrade kept fighting for me! This is so rare to find anymore in an employee, I'm humbled and inspired by her tenacity. Prompt email responses to my questions, actually a true advocate for me the customer!! I am writing this for my mom and brother who went to this UPS store needing a document notarized. We are all originally from Hanford. My brother now lives and works in Visalia and is also caregiver to our mom who will be turning 91. She rarely leaves their home mostly for doctor appts. Anyway it was her document that needed notarization regarding her pension and insurance. He decided to drive her into Hanford and take her to Chase Bank where she's been banking since day one when they opened. Long story short they were told that their 2 notaries were fairly new and not comfortable notarizing the paper. They turned them away. Yes a 90 year old woman who has a hard time getting around, but was really excited about going into a bank that she would frequent a lot over the years. It was a single page document requiring a signature verification for her pension/insurance...an annual requirement and they found it too difficult. Ridiculous. There will be a not so good review showing up for Chase. So that's what brought my mom and brother to this particular UPS store. Thank you Caitlin (sp?) for being so kind and helpful. You treated my mom with respect you alleviated stress my brother had after being turned away from their bank. Went here thinking it would be cheaper than post office because of reviews. Cost me $10 more for the same package. Charged me for 8 lbs never told me I was paying more, when my package was less than 5 lbs. Person helping me didn't say anything just measured and charged me what they wanted. I'll remember to tell people if it fits it ships for $14 not 23.48 at UPS. I would be ashamed of my business if I charged for something I didn't do for the customer or try to help them not pay extra for hidden fees. Almost a 40% increase in weight on box. No hidden costs at the post office like here. Yelp posts here must be from friends and family. Don't learn the hard way like I did. read more

Huge Kudos to Jen and her team for their caring support to solve a unique need. I moved from Hanford over 40 years ago, and needed someone to help with an important task. A couple who had worked for my parents decades ago came across a box of old photographs, and wanted to ensure that I received them safely. I no longer have close contacts in Hanford, and rarely travel there, so options were limited. I contacted the UPS store who agreed to receive the photographs, pack them safely, and send them to me, all using my personal cc to pay for the expenses. I recently went into this UPS Store to see if they did notary. Too my surprise they do notary. That was a nice surprise. So I ran home and grab what I need done. I came back and waited my turn in line. It took about 15 minutes. No biggie. I could see they were a little busy. My turn finally came and I went up to the counter and stated I had a letter I need notarized. The gal says our notary person was busy and I would have to wait in line. Ummm ok. I just waited in line for what seemed like 15 minutes. Well apparently another gal that was working the other counter was they only person that handled these things. So I thought ok fine. While I waited I got on yelp and looked at the reviews on this place and noticed a few people had wait time issues. I thought oh brother. I'm gonna be here a while. However it wasn't that long of a wait. The gal that helped me was wonderful and very helpful. So it out my mind to rest. I've only been in there a few times. All the girls that work here are super sweet and helpful, and if you do it right, it's really not more expensive than the post office. I give this store 9/10. They are helpful and polite, and there is good package insurance. However one time when I went it to ask if they had metered stamps for letters, I was told no, they don't carry those anymore ( though they do again now) , so I would have to double up on stamps or go to the Post office. I was o.k. With that, but then the young woman kept telling me over and over what the sum of the two stamps would be. It was a very simple addition algorithm (something as simple as 20+20=40), something I've known since 2nd grade, and I didn't appreciate being talked down to like that. This business which represents UPS, IS TERRIBLE. They have screwed up at least three shipments in two years. The latest being Saturday 12/19/2020. I dropped 2 next day air packages with the promise they would be handled with appropriate care. I frequent this store often especially for my Amazon returns. I sometimes can't find my needed return codes sent by Amazon. The clerks are always helpful; they show me how to navigate my iPhone (lol) and sometimes they take my iPhone and find the codes for me. So helpful. I've been shipping from this location for a while now, but it was today's visit that prompted me to get on Yelp and post a review. I am D-O-N-E with the Post Office. Finished, Done. Ka-Put (is that a word?). I learned today that anything I can do at the Post Office, I can also do at the UPS store. I mean, I suppose if I want to go stand in a loooong (and I do mean looooong) line with a weird smell lingering about, I could go visit the Post office, but as far as shipping and stamps and boxes and a number of other things go, the UPS store is where I plan to take all my business. To ship via the Post Office would have run me almost $10 more PER package than shipping with UPS. Also, it gets there sooner with UPS. How is the Post Office even still in business???? The staff here at the 12th Ave location has always been nice, but today I was greeted by Miguel, who opened the door for me on his way in, then proceeded to help get my package shipped. I was expecting long lines (it's about a week until Christmas). Nope. No long line. Just smiles and a happy staff and an offer of free cookies and apple cider. Hello Post Office... apple cider!!! I was in and out and on my merry way in a matter of minutes. Miguel was sooo nice, he started my whole day off on the right note. So, stop going to the Post Office. There is only misery and bizarre odors there. This store is so incredibly helpful! They let me look around, but the minute I asked a question, their staff was ready with answers and guidance. I normally don't look forward to going into UPS stores, but this one took all of that anxiety away. What a great team they have! I know this is a small town so you can't expect the same things as other cities, but I really miss going into UPS stores that had computers in case you forgot something or you need to print something really quick. I go to the Michael's and the Starbucks in the same shopping center a lot, and I find myself coming in here for some of the most random shit. Like, I was writing a letter to a friend and my only pen ran out of ink so I went there to buy a new one. They had a decent selection too. Some times I swing in for stamps since I'm just next door. I used to use my phone to email the store coupons for Michael's if I for to print on before I left the house. 10 cents per page isn't a bad price to pay if you'll be saving a couple of dollars I say. I remember one time I came in a long time ago and the person who helped me was less than helpful, and kind of had an attitude. But I haven't had an experience like that since, so I don't mind going in there. read more

I visited this location to have a document notarized. I was greeted by the cashier, who notified the notary clerk of what I was needing. I was told it would be a couple of minutes before she could help me. While I was waiting, the notary clerk was taking her time finishing her task by the mailboxes. Then, another customer came in who she knew, and she started a conversation with him. I finally asked how much longer would it be until I could get my document notarized, because it had been about 5 minutes already. The clerk stated,"I am not really sure, maybe 10 to 15 minutes." I asked them if they knew any other place that did notary and the clerk told me the ups store in Lemoore could. LOL, I went to the place on 10th and Grangeville. Overall, I've been pretty happy with all the services at this Hanford UPS location. However, I would like to make a suggestion...include a drop box for parcels already with a paid shipping label. I ended up waiting for 30 minutes in a long line to just hand off a prepaid package. Otherwise, people are very helpful. read more

If you ever need help Miguel Witrago the manager at this UPS store is your go to guy! I had a tank that needed to be strapped to an ocean flat rack and no one would do it. My trucker was sitting there charging me $95 an hour wait time. I could not find anyone that would go strap this tank..... out of desperation I called UPS thinking they might know someone in the area. Miguel answered that phone and said I can do that! In less than 15 mins he was at the factory door getting it done! What an amazing young man! He must be superman! I don't know that I will ever need anything done in Hanford again, but I will never forget Miguel! read more

This is a FANTASTIC packing store. I take everything here, even prepaid returns, simply because the staff is so friendly AND EFFICIENT. Example: I just shipped two packages by two different means to two different addresses and I had packages shipped, paid for, with tracking numbers in the amount of time it took my wife to go through the Starbucks drive through. There is a woman who works there, who I believe is the owner, who exemplifies customer service and also expertise in her field. Thank you!!!! read more

I went in for fingerprints once and about six weeks later I got a letter stating that their laptop was stolen and my personal information could be potentially be floating around out there. This UPS store is fantastic. I've been here twice, and I definitely will be using them in the future. The ladies, Sam and Sarah were very helpful with packing and shipping it. I needed a box and they bent over backwards to make sure all my Christmas presents fit and even put extra peanuts so that nothing was damaged. I have been to another (not UPS) location in Lemoore, but this is definitely my favorite. Even the driver, Johnathon, was personable and friendly.
