I came into this location for a very specific purchase. I found exactly what I was looking for and headed to the register. And that's where the good ended. I was told to come to a register and after being rung up, I shared I had a gift card to utilize. She took it and huffed and puffed with it and got frustrated that she dropped it on the floor and couldn't pick it up. The card wasn't working and she asked who I assumed was a manager for help. Apparently the system was having issues earlier on that computer so she was instructed to switch computers. She continued to have attitude while trying to make the gift card work and eventually snapped at me that it wasn't working. At this point there was someone behind me in line and I asked if I could step aside to double check the card had a balance. She quickly snipped that it was the system that wasn't working and offered no solution or if I'd like to make my purchase with another payment method. I left with no purchase or with the item I was willing to spend money on. This location has permanently lost my business due to the attitude of this employee. Extremely disappointed to even give this review. I've always experienced excellent service and I love Office Depot, but this specific location is not for me. I traditionally go to Lantana and Jog however their colored printer is currently down at the moment. At first they inform me that they cannot do any print order that is not on a flash drive, which was confusing since Lantana was going to take the order had their printer been working. Then the associate proceeded on with her tasks not giving me any other options. I then asked if I could purchase a flash drive to transfer the picture on and still order my prints while I was there. She informed me that I would have to get a flash drive return to wherever I had a computer to load it onto the flash drive and then come back to place my order. Which is also very confusing seeing as they are a supply store that carries both laptops and flash drive's. I asked if any other store would be able to take it in person and she told me that I could place my order through the app instead of getting the flash drive which would have been great to know when I first asked about the prints. I then proceeded to download the app and loaded my picture and had a few questions about the style of how it would print out and after waiting again she informed me that if I would want the prints cut down to an 8 x 8 when it's printed on an 8 x 11 that I would need a flash drive since the app doesn't give me the option to have it cut. Another thing that didn't make sense since I'm in the store I would think that she would just be able to cut it when she received the order. After all the confusion I have decided to just wait for my original store to have their color printer restored or go to a different Office Depot. Long story short I still love Office Depot thanks to Lantana, but I will not be returning to the Office Depot at State Road 7 Wellington Green. read more

So, my wife and I went to the Office Depot, by the Wellington Mall, on separate days and AMAZINGLY had the same unbelievably lousy thing happen to us. There are 3 registers open. Okay, so that's a good thing. The line is not moving though. Each person is having a problem in line. Again my wife and I are (on separate days) the next in line. There are about 5 people behind us, in line. Now get this, both times, an employee comes out and says, "I can take the LAST person in line." SERIOUSLY? !?!? Let me tell you how a line works!!!!!! The proper statement should have been, "I can take the NEXT PERSON in line." I am completely blown away and still can't believe this happened not once, but TWICE! DO you know where this doesn't ever happen? Amazon!!! And, that's where I will be shopping from now on. I will never darken Office Depot's door. Goodbye! Horrible experience! I went into this location to make 200 business cards. I spent over an hour explaining to the associate what I want and how I have had it done prior. Three days later I go to pick up my business cards and they are completely wrong. I expressed to the same associate who helped me before my frustration. The borders were slanted, missing and uneven. The associate just basically blamed it on the machine even though I previously made the same cards here and they were done correctly. The managent and associates clearly need training as no one knew what to do besides just offer me my money back. No one apologized just said "well it's our machine so I don't know what you want me to do". This location is terrible and I will be taking my business needs elsewhere! read more

Went in for some last minute school supplies and walked out, empty-handed, vowing to never again come back. I watched as my bill started climbing over $100 for not a lot of stuff. I asked someone to find a price for me because, like always, prices are impossible to find. A flimsy one subject notebook was $3. When I asked if that was a mistake because Target had the same ones for 17 cents, the guy shrugged and said, "Well. Go to Target, then." Best advice EVER. I saved over 70% and I didn't have to deal with the barrage of rude customers I had been having to wade through. Never again. I always expect better shopping at a store close to its headquarters. If this is the best OD has to offer, no wonder it's in so much trouble and I keep hearing about the crap working conditions at hq, so the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, I guess. read more

Waited in line over 6 minutes. One register open, two people behind the counter on the printing side, 3 employees at the front and waited that long. I have been checked out at the printing area register when they were busy in the past. I asked one of the ladies lady if there was another register she said "nope that's the only one open" Lazy people my last few visits. Last week I asked a girl where something was she just said "I don't know" did not bother trying to find out or ask someone. Attitudes like this is what makes Amazon excel. I prefer to give business to brick and mortar business and even more preferably mom and pop type shops but In the office supply world Office Depot/max (soon to all be Staples) have monopolized the industry. Surly service: definitely not morning persons. I arrived approximately 5 minutes before the store opening and the manager barked at me, "You're gonna have to come back! We're not open! We don't even have the registers up!". Employees were actually just arriving as well. He could have calmly stated that it will be only a few minutes until opening. Be that I was in a hurry to get to work, I stopped at the nearby Staples store which not only accepted Office Depot coupons but were nice. Let's face it, all of the three major office supply stores carry pretty much the same thing. It comes down to service and the pleasure of actually walking through the store. This store has never been very pleasant- perhaps being a smaller Office Depot, they're feeling claustrophobic. Whatever- we'll take our business elsewhere. read more

We stopped at the store for a quick and easy print of maybe 10 total pages. No one waited on us for 10 minutes standing at the printing computer. We went to the register 2 times asking for help, finally a worker came walking over rolling her eyes and after another 10 minutes she couldn't figure out which printer worked. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, the employee helping us left without saying anything to eat McDonald's. Save yourself the frustration and drive ten more minutes down the road to the other store. read more
