    I have been a once-a-week member (at the Basic level) for the last couple of months, soon after…read more414's launch. I am very impressed, and hope to expand my membership tier over time. The space is a second floor in a historic converted home on Broad St that had been used by the adjacent bank. (There's an architecture firm on the first floor.) There's a kitchen, a reservable conference room, and individual hot desks, as well as a multi-purpose room with a large common table. The furniture is all modern, and looks surprisingly good with the wood trim and hardwood floors. Coffee is included, and so are the occasional homemade brownies. The owner, Jennifer, is often working there herself; she is extremely responsive and always trying to improve the space. She hosts marketing workshops and fourth Friday social gatherings. The members are all friendly and respectful, in my experience. I genuinely look forward to my 414 day every week..

They are constantly making upgrades and coming up with new offerings to foster community and professional growth. The space itself is beautifully designed for a peaceful, cozy, and inspiring environment. My clients frequently make mention of how nice it is and I can tell it has an impact on their experience. Logistically, I have a hybrid virtual and in-person practice and paying for real estate would be my biggest overhead cost. I didn't want to sign a rental agreement that wouldn't fit my situation or have the flexibility that I need. It's also a fantastic option for folks who are just starting their practice or who have a part time practice. At Be Well, I can increase or decrease the amount of time I use, and it isn't restricted to certain days of the week if my or my clients' schedules change. It really is the best of all worlds - I get office space with a luxury feel, flexibility in scheduling, fair pricing, and networking and community events with my colleagues.     I recently started a small chocolate catering business and desperately needed to find a space to…read morework outside of my home. I had previously connected with the owners of Per Diem Space and participated in a few Pop Up Shop sales there on Saturday mornings. As luck would have it, Per Diem Space was renovating the second floor apartment into small rental offices. Since the apartment had a kitchen, Per Diem Space was willing to rent it to me on a monthly basis....my own "office" space! The kitchen was spotless when I became a tenant. There was a refrigerator and dishwasher already there, a table for extra workspace and plenty of cabinets in case I needed to store large items. I did purchase a large locking cabinet to hold my candy and supplies. Since my 4/1/17 rental began, the owners have installed air conditioning (so important for the chocolate to set properly) and also a water cooler with hot/cold options. It's my own little haven. And I love it! I have nothing but positive things to say about PDS. The owners are always asking for my feedback or for what I might need. I constantly see small improvements and additions in the first floor workspace. Everything I could ever need in the way of "all things office" are on the premises. As a new small business owner, the women of PDS have been an outstanding resource for me. PDS offers classes at reasonable fees for topics you might want/need to investigate. Karen, Emily, Kim and Michelle have freely given me so many tools, opportunities and networking connections to help promote my dream and give me the best start possible.
