I've been a customer of Michael's for years going to various stories across the…read morecountry and almost every time I've gone in this particular location - it's extremely slow, backed up and takes forever to get any help. (Particularly with fabric). I'm understanding and sympathetic to new employees learning on the job and with businesses being understaffed with Covid but cackling with your co-workers openly in front of customers who are trying to get help, having multiple broken machines that hold up lines/take forever to even get a receipt, a cashier who doesn't know how to apply coupons nor do a proper return is unacceptable. This is the last time I'll be going to this location.

I was there yesterday and a very helpful employee had made an honest mistake when trying to help me figure out a way to heat my greenhouse. The propane tank I ended up taking home did not fit the heater I had. Since I had the propane tank filled, it was Menards policy that they would not take the tank back. However, not only did Tony offer to take it back if there was no other solution, he did one better and actually came up with a solution! He walked through the store with me for over an hour, opening boxes, calling other employees and brainstorming until he came up with a solution to adapt the larger propane tank (100lbs) to the small heater I needed. He even exchanged the heater AND did a price adjustment for the inconvenience and my time to make it right. I was very impressed with his professionalism, problem solving skills and knowledge. I would highly recommend this store!
