Debbie at Office Max was extremely professional, knowledgeable & works extremely hard. She was managing multiple projects with grace & kindness while greeting all guests warmly. Not the place for printing! Always a wait to even place an order. Also there is usually a second employee in the print center on a computer who is too busy to help the counter or acknowledge customers. No more. FedEx blows them away with printing. read more

17 days I went to an Office Max and purchased two wireless network adaptors. I have been meaning to return these for a couple of days, but finally got to it yesterday. I walked in and asked the lady if I could return them and she said sure, but since it was outside of the 14 day return policy then it would have to go onto a Merchandise Card. I was fine that, as I come here on occasion. I walked through the rest of the store and found two items that I wanted (an iPhone accessory {$60} and an iTunes Gift Card {15$}--This transaction was $75 even because there was no tax. I got back to the register and I was told that I could not buy a Gift Card with a Merchandise card. This upset me because 17 days ago I spent CASH on two network adaptors ($79.98). The manager went on and on about how it was store policy not to accept merchandise cards for gift cards. I again explained my original CASH transaction to this guy and he was being very difficult to talk to. He beat me over the head with store policy and how he could not do it. I was three days over the return policy, I was informed, and was made a complete fool for not knowing the return policy. This guy made it a point to make me feel stupid because I didn't know his stupid return policy. Finally, I suggested to the guy (Why he couldn't, as a manager, think of this I don't know-Show the education level I suppose) that I spent $79.98 originally and I am trying to re-purchase $75.00 worth of merchandise. I made it clear that if I wasn't able to buy the gift card I was going to call every manager and complain on every website. The guy finally allowed me to buy the iTunes card and go on my way. I was NOT given the $4.98 difference in my new purchase and original purchase and I was again made to look like a fool for not knowing the stores return policy. I will not be naïve, like some other posters, and say that I will NEVER return to this store again, but I will NEVER buy an electronic/network device again. If a store creates a 14 day return policy then to me that means they don't want me to buy it, or that they are not equipped to support their own inventory. The only reason that I give 2 stars is because eventually I was able to get what I wanted here. Buyer Beware! read more

I went to the Lewisville location to get a duplicate signature rubber stamp made, for my elderly father. Previously, another Officemax made the same signature rubber stamp, with no problem whatsoever. After speaking with 3 different employees, they said they could not make another duplicate stamp, because it was not my signature. Really? Then why in the world, did the other Officemax location make it? Should have gone back there to begin with; but, I was running errands in Lewisville. I ended up going yet, to another Officemax. Guess what? They cheerfully, professionally & quickly scanned the signature rubber stamp, & made the duplicate. Not a big deal & finally, a happy customer (not at the Lewisville location). read more

Adam in the service center is polite, but has a difficult time with multiple customers. I was served after someone I arrived ahead of, and the documents I wanted to print out were printed without a sample. Turned out fine- but if there had been a mistake I would've been stuck with quite a few wasted prints. Probably would have been better if fewer folks were waiting on him or if more staff had been around to help out. read more

Terrible, terrible customer service at the print center. Takes forever to drop off and pick up anything, including my small binding order. I never got a call to let me know it was ready either, like they had promised. When I did go pick it up, I stood and waited for almost 30 minutes. Go elsewhere for your printing needs. read more

Because I cant give them a no stars or I would. This location will not provide any support what so ever. We are an IT company. one of our elderly customers purchased a new software package. there were issues installing it. the vendor was contacted and they also had issues with the installation. they told us to return it back to the place where we purchased it. The Manager there "Will is what he said his name was" was rude and condescending and refused to stand behind the products sold there. he told us we didn't know what we were doing, even after I explained the vendor had told us to return it. I even offered to have him talk with the vendor. he refused and continued the tirade. I contacted Corporate and they seemed to keep loosing the complaint. As a result we have canceled our corporate account and advise no one do business at this store, because if you have any issues they WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. read more

I would have left 0 stars if I could. I must say, I am absolutely disgusted by the behavior of a "J P" employee who was being completely rude and unprofessional towards some customers (who both walked away). He was getting so angry and impatient to the point where his face was turning red, and the guy was so soft spoken towards him but he did have a bit of an accent (maybe Middle Eastern). I kept hearing him say "well now you know!" Etc. and when the guy was about to leave, the customers behind him said "it's ok", trying to consult him and his response was "he's just mistreating me, I don't know why". It broke my heart. Never have I been so disgusted! Won't be back at this location with such crap service!! read more

I went into the store today to get some thank you notes printed from a pdf file. First, I waited in line for several minutes because there was only one employee in the print center and he was helping another customer. Finally another employee walked up and I was told she could help me. I told her what I needed (the pdf file printed on 5x7 cardstock), only to be told that they don't have that size paper, but she could print it on 8.5x11 cardstock, which meant that had I allowed her to do that, I would have had to cut out my thank you notes from the middle of the cardstock. So I waited in line for a long time, only to be told that they can't print on 5x7 paper. Needless to say, I walked out of the store very frustrated and without what I needed. read more

I have used them for personalized family calendars, customized print jobs, lamination, and more. Recently they shipped my own mother's antique china all the way from Dallas to LA. Love these guys. I came here to get a photo blown up for a present for my sister. I came right at close and there were three people needing assistance. The worker, his name was Michael or Mark...I don't remember, anyways, he assisted all three of us quickly and efficiently...at the same time. He kept printing my photo till it was perfect! I was very happy with the final product, the price, and the service. read more
